But that point is even only in deference to the website, which is hands down the best poll tracker mapping site out there. App is useless. Ur better off creating a bookmark of the website as an app icon on ur home screen.

ElectoralVotePolls was not and is still not accurate this entire election.

With no access to the blog or maps or history, there is zero point to ElectoralVotePolls. Make an ico file so a shortcut will show a consistent icon, and just have ppl create a shortcut to access the site and info.

I'm taking the time to write a review in hopes of saving some other fans of the site the waste of time. Terrible, pointless execution. I sure hope no one got paid to do this. It's not even a worthwhile student effort.

I love the web site, follow the RSS feed, and check the site every morning for updates. But ElectoralVotePolls is not really much like the site. It's just one big scrollable list of Senate and House races. Useful, but not very navigable. I was expecting the main map, historical graphs of the polls, and definitely Tanenbaum's commentary. None of that is in ElectoralVotePolls . I'm hoping that this version is just the start of a much wider vision.

I use ElectoralVotePolls to compare with Rasmussen polls. Rasmussen was most accurate in the 2008 election. ElectoralVotePolls leans much farther democratic than Rasmussen and I don't have much confidence in its accuracy. Sometimes I feel like it is trying to form the vote rather than poll it. Poll Tracker App is much better.

Sadly, the web site is much better. The polling data on the left-hand side of ElectoralVotePolls display takes up way too much real estate for an iPad and makes the the map (the most important feature) tiny and very hard to read. I'll stick with the web site until ElectoralVotePolls is improved.

Love the desktop site - but ElectoralVotePolls is basically the site in a browser window with a scroll on left which makes the map much smaller. Maybe intended primarily for iPhone, though.

The website design is ideal for iPad app with interactive features, hope they give it a shot!

If you like your politics on the left, ElectoralVotePolls is for you, if you want a balanced approach, ElectoralVotePolls might not be the right choice.

Assuming ElectoralVotePolls updates the numbers from the official source(s), it seems worthwhile. It could use more functionality, but gives you the numbers.

Well, people seem to bash this as there are indeed no maps. It's free, so at this point I'm not complaining. It's handy to see poll results at a glance.

I'm an expat in Germany, and hit "refresh" 3-4 times a day until he update the site.

It's such a breath of fresh air to get out of the weeds when reading his analysis.

Anyone who decides who they are voting based on disliking an app is a moron. Way to be a follower person who stated they are voting for Romney due to ElectoralVotePolls.

I love the analysis, it seems that approx 48% of the users hate it. Just a suggestion get the party preference on startup and if a tea party or GOP supporter just present a map with 100% red. That should take care of their concerns

Looking at the reviews left for ElectoralVotePolls is very disconcerting. People who say ElectoralVotePolls shows Obama as the winner are amazingly ignorant of what ElectoralVotePolls is designed to do. ElectoralVotePolls is a poll aggregator that uses individual state polls to predict the outcome of the Presidential Race. It's a predictor, not a reporter, for God's sake!

8am on Election Day and many states are skewed Democratic? How? It's simple: early voting.

Many reviewers are puzzled that states already swing Democratic. What they don't realize is that early voting numbers HEAVILY favor Democrats.

The assumption is that unfavorable stats must be "biased" and they're giving negative reviews based on that. It's got nothing to do with ElectoralVotePolls , which seems to work fine.

It cracks me up to listen to people argue because our government has grouped them into a party. The system is broke and needs to evolve. It ok to like to hunt, care about the planets well being, believe in a god and want to pay a fair amount of taxes. I guess our govt doesn't believe we can think for ourselves and make decisions independently so they turn each other against themselves and make them red or blue. Political bigotry @ it's worst. Can we all just get along?
