How to fix Google Docs app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Google Docs app on iPhone
Update Google Docs app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Google Docs iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Google Docs on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Google Docs network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Google Docs Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Google Docs not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Google Docs App
1. On android, goto Settings » Google Docs » click [Force Stop]

Update Google Docs to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Google Docs App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Google Docs » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Google Docs.

Fix Google Docs unable to contact server/ Google Docs internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Google Docs » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Google Docs » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
