This is the 3rd update and it hasn’t even been a week. They should focus on their app instead of focusing on raising their prices every 3 seconds. You can never check in on the apps anyway. I tried to purchase airplane tickets twice and it denied me. It wouldn’t even let me the third time cause it kicked me out…. Fast forward to THREE minutes later the flight went up by 80 dollars EACH ticket. I’ve been hunting a good deal since. I dislike how you HAVE to be a member to purchase but I am, but I can’t purchase tickets for just my kids, an adult has to be on the flight mine you my parents are on the same flight but they purchased the tickets on their own. Long story short I dislike this app, always kicks me out, never does the payment correct

All the reviews are correct. The app does not work. When I arrived at the airport Volaris asks me to check in through the app to get my boarding pass. I told them them it didn’t work. They said I needed to pay an extra fee in order to get my boarding pass because I did not have it. Again, told them it did not work and the only solution they offered me was to check in through a computer. I’m at an airport. I don’t have a computer. I had to act very aggressively and raised my voice and the gate agent. They finally printed our family’s boarding pass. Do not let them bully you into paying more money!!!

Was able to check in for one person in our party today, for the second one - the app doesn’t load. I called customer service, they said that I cannot talk to management because it’s an app problem. As soon as I said I’m going to give corporate the name of the agent who I was with on the phone, the app started working and was able to check in.
I understand this is a budget airline, but needing manual interference to check in and not being able to do so on a website - DISGUSTING!
