I eat there literally 3-5 times a week. I always order through ChickfilA , and most of the day time employees know me by name. I eat there on my way to work because ordering through ChickfilA and going in to grab my food used to be fast and convenient, and my order was always correct. That is no longer the case. It takes longer and longer to get my food, and often I don’t get napkins or all of my condiments. And I don’t know this until I get to my car because they tape the bag shut. And even that takes entirely too long. They can’t just fold the bag over and tape it. Instead it has to be rolled down ever so carefully. Anyway, today was my last straw. I decided to order through ChickfilA and pick my food up at the drive thru because I’m working at home today and was still in my pajamas. I got there well before 10:30 but didn’t get to the speaker until 10:31. I was told I couldn’t get my breakfast. It was literally 1 minute late, and if your employees hadn’t suddenly become slow as hell, I would’ve been at the window well before 10:30. So I left and went to Jack’s who served me even though it was a few minutes after 10:30. I’ll let them have my regular business from now on.

I purchased food at roughly noon through ChickfilA and received a “503 error”. I then went in to the store and paid for my food the old fashion way. About 7 hours later I got a notification saying my food was ready, and my card was charged and my free sandwich reward was used.
Tech issues happen, I get that, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. I’m currently on hold as I write this. I emailed in a few weeks ago with no response. After a few days I called in after I didn’t get a response. I was told my issue was being handled by a “regional manager” on the first call. No time frame was given on a resolution which is fine I guess. Here I am, 3 weeks later without a resolution and I can’t even talk to someone on the phone due to hold times. I was kicked off the line while waiting to talk to a rep and I’m on hold again.
When ChickfilA works as intended (it usually works fine), it’s an excellent app. However, when things go wrong you have to rely on the customer support team to give a resolution within their policy. I can no longer order food from ChickfilA with confidence due to the poor customer service experience. If something goes wrong on ChickfilA , expect to have your money tied up for weeks and even months. I don’t even know if my issue will be resolved at this point. It’s a shame because ChickfilA works so well most of the time and the user experience when it works is excellent.

One star! The old app allowed you to stack multiple Chick Fil A gift cards but the new one does not. My local grocery only sells Chick Fil A cards in multiples of $10. I buy them there for fuel rewards. $10 doesn’t feed my family. Additionally the new app won’t let you place an additional order for food if you forgot something. You must pick up your first order before ChickfilA allows you to place another. This means going in and standing in line to place an order for the additional item. This wastes a lot of time! Some rewards won’t let you redeem two in the same order so this reduced functionality forces you to complete the first order to be able to redeem your treat reward in a second order.
One more thing... old app remembered the previous Chick-Fil-A login email and the new one does not. I buy multiple cow calendars and now it’s more work to log out of one account to redeem the monthly treat and then log into another at the same Chick Fil A visit usually. For example we will use my account for my calendar treat and then my son’s account for his calendar treat of the month. Old app remembered the previous email address to save time typing it in but new one makes you delete it and type it all out. Inefficient!
Your developers should be ashamed of themselves for butchering ChickfilA ! Please bring back the original superior app!

When I discovered that someone hacked into my Chick Fil A app and was using my credit card to add money to a digital gift card, I immediately called customer service. The representative admitted it’s very likely someone did hack my account and discouraged me from deactivating it. I took his advice and instead changed my password, enabled Touch ID and removed my credit card information from ChickfilA and called the card company. My card company handled everything perfectly, but the next day I discovered my account was still being used by someone on the other side of the country. I called Chick Fil A customer service again and he submitted a form to have my account deactivated. It’s been a week, my account is still being used by the hackers and nothing has been done on Chick Fil A’s part. I’m shocked by how hard it has been to keep my account secure. Even though I’ve enabled Touch ID and changed my password, it seems as though there’s no way to force a log out so whoever used my account the first time is still able to do so. And I don’t have the capability to deactivate my account myself because of the outstanding balance the hackers put on the digital gift card linked to my account. As soon as I get customer service to do their job, I am deleting ChickfilA and will never re-download.

I don’t know if there is a glitch with the latest update, but my mobile orders have been wrong for the past couple of weeks. It started when I reordered a previous meal (sausage muffin breakfast) but the order my store got from ChickfilA was a sausage biscuit breakfast (I’ve never ordered that and I detest their biscuits). A couple days later I ordered a chicken sandwich with ADDED bacon (I double checked and screen-shot my order just in case) and I got a sandwich with NO bacon, NO BUN. The online order they got at the store clearly had my name and had a no bacon/bun request, which didn’t match my receipt (I showed the store my pic of my order and the receipt and they didn’t know why it changed). I’ve been back 3 more times and this keeps happening: the order my store gets on their end doesn’t match what I selected on ChickfilA . And it’s not a supply chain issue; whenever I go inside and ask for a fix to my meal, they always have what I originally ordered. While I do like collecting free meal cards from my local store, I just want ChickfilA to work again and get my orders correct. I’m tired of playing meal roulette.

Sure, it is nice to be rewarded for loyalty... but only if you can simply order what you would normally get. The rewards are missing the items that I usually order. Why can’t this just work simply and have so many points correlate to a dollar reward like so many other reward apps? What if 1000 points = $5 off? That would be great! But instead I have to search through the available rewards looking for my combo meal... wait, no combo meal... my sandwich, then my drink, then my large waffle fry... wait no large waffle fry reward so I’ll go with the small this time...
I guess it is another pseudo rewards program that makes it just enough of a hassle that people don’t use it as often.
Maybe this isn’t such a big deal to other people. Maybe it is just irritating enough that when they forgot to put my sauces in the sack today (that I ordered) and then had to consume my small fry and lousy grilled-chicken sandwich (I meant to get the regular sandwich, but clicked on the wrong reward button) without sauce it inspired me to leave this review. I was tempted to go back for the sauce, but 10 miles down the road... writing this review was easier.

As a Team Member, I feel obligated to express some of the thoughts guests express to me about ChickfilA , because we run into a lot of problems with it at my CFA. Rewards are too hard to get to and slow down the flow of ordering. Why is the most important option of Rewards (Redeeming in store) the last page? I often have a hard time telling guests how to get to that page and have to just point at their phone. That's weird. We should be able to explain to guest how to get to this page in simple phrases, like click the button in the top right hand corner. Not click the present (you have to say present because the font that says "Rewards" is to small to read) Then swipe over in the top 1/3 of the screen twice. Thats weird, and we often say like "sorry our app is a little weird" to guests to make them to feel like its their fault. Overall, there's a lot of messy parts. Guests also try to scan to pay and don't know they didn't hook up money, and this is just because the font on button is just way to small. In Florida, about 50% is 50+, and you we cant depend on them being able to read the very small text so we just say tap the 1st or 2nd button, but it would be much easier if everything was just readable. I hope these thoughts help in improving ChickfilA . :)

There is no option for walk-in not everyone drives so there needs to be support for non-motorist. As ChickfilA currently is, frustrating experience for both the customer and employees please add support for walk-up customers. Other than this ChickfilA itself great however there is a few options that could be added such a customizing food orders and reducing the amount of steps to redeem customer loyalty points. But yeah as it is I still say it’s pretty solid. Navigation is still simple and straightforward One thing to be aware of when using gift cards once you transfer your balance to ChickfilA the card no longer has any funds which I feel is a bit curious
Below is my pre-pandemic review
Original title: Only good to skip the line
The ordering experience is great. Easy UI navigation is a breeze However I feel there are a few issues I need to point out, on more than one occasion my order was not correct. I love ChickfilA just be cautious of receiving your order correctly, it’s highly aggravating and from what I experienced it appears managers don’t take the
customers side I was told there would be an investigation on the matter which consisted of only merely asking an crew member which in my opinion is highly subjective who would own up to an error hard evidence would be rolling back some camera the manager actually had the audacity to contact me back to give me his workers defense when I personally witnessed the error first hand

I really like ChickfilA . I have a few wishes for ChickfilA and rewards program. First, I wish we could exchange rewards earned for other equivalent food/drink options. Often, I earn a breakfast biscuit and never use them, because I don’t like biscuits. I wish it would just allow you to get a monetary credit on your order in the amount of the retail price of the freebie offered. I also wish they wouldn’t expire so quickly, but I don’t foresee them giving any consideration to that. Most importantly, I think mobile orders should allow the customer to choose not only between Carry-out and Drive-thru but also Dine-in. It seems odd to me that you can order for carry-out but not feel welcome to eat in the restaurant if you so choose. Tried to order this morning (5/07) and ChickfilA crashed several times and would never submit the order. So I had to order the old way and wait during morning rush hour. Usually ChickfilA works well, but this morning, it wouldn’t allow me to submit my order despite 5-6 attempts.

Overall it's a great app. Customization of orders are limited. If want lettuce and no tomatoes, you can only do that with the original sandwich while you're not able to remove it from the deluxe version. At Fairfax Circle, a normally very busy location in my experience, they do not have dedicated parking for mobile orders, but insist that mobile orders are picked up thru walk-in vice drive thru. ChickfilA includes a notification that you're at the restaurant with the caveat it is to provide the freshest food. Sitting out in the parking lot until there's a space to park is not going to keep the food fresh. They should be able to either take my order number at the drive thru and enter it so I am in the sequence or it's an option in ChickfilA to notify them the customer is in the drive thru queue. Or reserve a space for pick up orders like every other restaurant in the country pretty much does for their mobile orders. The customer isn't going to know the parking lot is full before they arrive and the mobile order is to place your order before you even arrive at the restaurant with your custom choices.

ChickfilA is mediocre at best. I got a Facebook notification about a free sandwich if I purchased online today. Ordering chicken minis online from home worked to begin with but that was where the success ended. I left home and immediately couldn’t access my order to “pull up and let them know” I was at the restaurant. I have not once ever, despite re-downloading ChickfilA at least 3 times, been able to view orders or treats without being on wifi (typically mine at home). I have an iPhone 8+, have the latest version of ios, and sufficient memory on my phone for ChickfilA . But I get the message that ChickfilA “isn’t connected to the internet”—whaaa? I live in a town of 200,000 on a major highway with LTE everywhere.
So, to solve my problem I just pulled up to the drive thru and told them I had an online order. The girl gave me my food but gave me no free sandwich or comparable breakfast item. I thought the free item might come as a notification on ChickfilA but nope, not there, either. A disappointment altogether...Please get the glitches fixed on ChickfilA once and for all.

I love the Chick-fil-A app. It’s normally a time saver, but when it glitches, it’s a pain. We’ve been using the since the summer. The first few times it was great. Then strange things would happen. At first, we would place our orders at home & ChickfilA would indicate that our order was received & we would get the page with instructions. We get to the restaurant, get the prompt to give or parking spot #. Then, ChickfilA would tell us we hadn’t placed an order. We would have to reorder. That was finally corrected, but now I tried to place an order at my preferred restaurant as I was leaving work. I checked the address before placing my order & have never ordered from another location on ChickfilA . I checked the address once a I submitted my order, then again upon arrival. The correct address was listed, but when I tried to submit my spot #, ChickfilA tried to claim that I placed my order with another restaurant. I was asked if I wanted to change my order to the location I was at. I tried to do that twice, but I kept getting a message that I was submitting my order elsewhere. I had to cancel my order & reorder in the parking lot. There have been other glitches with payments, too. I love Chick-fil-A, but ChickfilA needs work.

Great app, sometimes it freaks out if you enter an area where service isn’t perfect but that’s not too bad of an issue. My biggest problem is the fake “we’ll prepare your order when you get close”. You don’t, you never have and adding a fake button that says you will doesn’t satisfy me as a customer because you don’t prepare orders ahead of time. It’s fine, getting food is quick and easy, but when you tell customers you’ll prepare my food ahead of time once I’m close enough and I’m 500 feet away stuck at a red light for 3 cycles and theres more and more people crowding the drive thru, backing up my order that should’ve already been started, it’s frustrating. Quit lying, just say you’ll start it when I put in my spot number and stop punishing people for putting their orders ahead of time on your app by making them wait and watch as people who showed up after them in the drive thru leave before them with their food.

The only thing about ChickfilA that needs improvement is the where you can put a note to the store. My family and order through ChickfilA and love it for the most part, however, the spaces it gives to let the store know something that you would like them to do is NOT enough! I just tried to put that I want the fries in separate bags that have salt on them and this is all I could put and had to do it without spaces between words to put the message: UNSALTEDFRIESSEPARATEBAGMARKED
So I was trying to say that I wanted the unsalted fries in a separate bag and mark it so I would know which ones are salted and which ones are not, but the above message took every space it gives you, so if you wanted to ask tell them to put one of the meals in a separate bag or to put all the sauces in separate bag or anything else there is no way to do it!
And now I just noticed that when you review your order details after you submit it, you can’t see the message you sent with it. That also needs to be corrected!
One last thing I just remembered, I know that when I got through the drive thru or go inside and order, I can order the fruit cups without one of the fruits that I don’t care for, but it doesn’t allow that on ChickfilA , so that would also either need more space on the message part or the option to remove one of the fruits from the fruit cup!
In the end, I don’t really understand why the message part is SO limited with spaces! :/

ChickfilA allows me to dine take out or eat in from the “bag”. Before ChickfilA , which i 1st heard Clark Howard praise on the radio, the Atlanta Peachtree X Collier Rd location, a mere 2blocks from our office was nearly unusable due to the wait times. I would go there once every few months and never use the drive through, now i walk up on pleasant days at least weekly. i know to hit the “i’m here” button about 100 yds before i walk in and i now get my food in 1 to 3 minutes like clock work.
ChickfilA allows me to customize everything on the menu and while i’ve seen them miss a condiment here or there i think overall accuracy is much higher because of the total digital experience.
The only flaw i saw recently is they removed all salads for a week or 2 due to the romaine lettuce problems - in a perfect customer experience world they would have messaged inside ChickfilA what was going on.

ChickfilA is perfect, I’ve never had an issue and it is very dependable. I deliver pizzas and sometimes I’m in the mood for a grilled chicken sandwich or my personal favorite spicy chicken sandwich with strawberry jelly! I usually don’t get off work til after Chick-fil-a closing hour. Also the last couple of hours where I’m from seem to be the busiest. I hate waiting in lines whether it’s drive thru or inside, so being able to place my order after I drop off a pizza, a driving 5 minutes to get there, walk into the store, grab my bag and I’m otw back to work is literally genius. Even better I’m able to comfortably ask my brother or my boyfriend to pick up food otw without dealing with money or them putting in the wrong order etc. ChickfilA is fabulous and I’m upset with myself for not getting it sooner lol. If there was anything I could change on here is giving me an option to write notes like, extra crunchy chicken, or give an option to have a large water, but that’s simple and I’m sure it’ll change soon😁

So there are three complaints I have, but at the moment I can only think of 2:
1. When loading money into ChickfilA I love that there are different payment/card options. However, I cannot pick anything less than $25 to reload. I would like for the amount to be adjustable to MY personal situation. I understand people miskey and may make the mistake of adding more funds than intended, but if the top threshold is $100 then I don’t see where the big problem is.
2. I have a lot of rewards, and last time I made the mistake of picking a frosted lemonade instead of the milkshake. The picture look almost alike so it was silly mistake while dealing with 4 kids in tow. The manager couldn’t back out of the reward to pick the right now, but thankfully the points were the same for milkshake & frozen drink so it wasn’t a big deal. The problem comes when one may double tap the wrong reward (happened to me!) and then you have 2 fries when you only wanted one.
3. Will come back to give feedback

I have use different apps for different companies in different restaurants and this one is actually very good I haven’t had any issues with it not even once and it doesn’t run slow it doesn’t bog down my device like others sometimes do there’s no delay no matter what location I’ve gone to I’ve been very happy with us and I’ve never even had a glitch with payments or anything which some places sometimes to with other restaurants and you were able to see everything that is available and like some other competitive restaurants which hide the good deals.
And then the second you submit your order because I’ve only done curbside delivery because it’s faster than waiting in line faster than going inside. and they make the food fresh the second that you say that you’re there never any complaints about any of it.
I would absolutely recommend this for any person that is a fan of Chick-fil-A.
I’m not biased, although I did used to work at Chick-fil-A over 20 years ago, but if ChickfilA was not good I would say it was not good. They made an excellent choice in whoever they had make ChickfilA.

My family and I LOVE Chick-fil-A! I use ChickfilA more often than any other app on my phone. I’ve been a “red member” since day 3 of downloading it. I only request one change, when ordering curbside, could you add an “other” option for vehicles... I’m a paramedic and have to grab and go sometimes. When our food is brought out they are looking for a “red truck” because we can’t fit in the drive through but, a “red truck” is not usually associated with an ambulance so we have to catch the person with our food before they quickly see that there is no “red truck” in the curb side pick up area and go back inside (we don’t fit in those parking spots either). If we could have a option to fill in “ambulance, fire truck, police car, 18 wheeler... etc.” that would just take ChickfilA to the next level! My co-workers and I would be even more ecstatic that we could be more specific and get our delish food without any confusion to the amazing teams that save us in our time of hunger. Either way, ChickfilA is great and makes getting food easier for us.

Please read the whole thing. Chick Fil A is my pride and joy. when i’m feeling down, and fry, upset, hangry, hungry, or my heart is broken, Chick Fil A is my cure. my usual order is a 12 count meal with either a coke or lemonade. first of all, this lemonade is exquisite. so juicy, sweet, but the perfect amount of tartness. next of all, it is grilled and friend also perfectly. when i eat it, i am filled with happiness. it makes my day usually once or maybe twice a month. i am usually a pretty healthy person but i would do and break any rules to eat my chick fil a. during the global pandemic, unlike any other fast food restaurant, chick fil is not touching anything of yours, so things don’t spread. not only that, but i notices that there were around 15 workers helping at cars so the line would go faster. i was practically outside of the chick fil a drive through and i only spent 5 minutes durning my visit. my food was EXCELLENT. not only warm, but hot. Chick fil A will always be my go to snack, or meal. i love chick fil a with a passion and will never give up on it.

Chick-Fil-A recently had a pop up asking me if I wanted to update ChickfilA . Because I love Chick-fil-A, I of course agreed. Boy, was I disappointed. The biggest difference is that now your food is not even prepared until you are relatively close (perhaps half a mile away). Our Chick-fil-A is not for the faint of heart. It is always slammed and I expect to have a wait time, I plan on it. That is why I order through ChickfilA . I even intend to do you prepare to wait when I order through ChickfilA , but to wait for 12 to 15 minutes after I have ordered through ChickfilA seems ridiculous. I should just get in the regular drive-through line or wait in the regular line inside.
Now I understand that the reason this change was made was probably because somebody drove to the wrong location or complained because their food was not hot since it might have been prepared to soon before they arrived. All of this makes sense to me. However, if commonsense is applied and ChickfilA can predict the amount of time it will take to prepare your food given their current business, just like Starbucks typically does, one would think there would be a scientific formula for how long you would need to wait.
Yes, overall I am still appreciative of the delicious food and the gracious service but I would like to see ChickfilA return to its previous state where I can simply walk in and my food is ready to go.
by Curtisamongus
Used to be really happy with ChikFilA rewards program. I would get free food items every few visits. However, they just changed their rewards program into a tier based points system. For example, the lowest level gives you 10 points for every dollar. To give you an idea, salads (which I used to get for free around once a month) take 1500 points to purchase. That means you would have to spend $150 in fast food at ChikFilA just to get a free salad. The top tier (red member) requires 5000 points to maintain red-level status. Red members accrue points faster by getting 12 points for every dollar and get a few more benefits - nothing that much more amazing than lower level members. 5000 points is over $400 in fast food within a year. I don’t think my arteries could handle that. Anyways, as far as ChickfilA goes it’s great and easy to do mobile orders. However, I don’t think I will be spending as much at ChikFilA as I used to because of the rewards program changes.
by Jcwilson7
It is no surprise that the Chick-Fil-A app/reward program is superior to other fast food apps/reward programs since their food and service are superior to begin with. Really and truly the original Chick-Fil-A app/rewards was pretty good, but this new updated version sets itself even further ahead of any other fast food app I have used (and I have tried/use several others). Ordering and paying could not be easier from choosing a location, items from the menu (meals or individual items), choosing sauces, adding special instructions, changing payments, and submitting the order. ChickfilA even tracks your location (when enabled) to send the order when you’ve arrived (or close to arriving if you choose) for the freshest meal possible. Every time I use ChickfilA to order (now about 95% of the time I go) my meal is ready upon my arrival (and everything is completely correct!). I can’t say enough how superior ChickfilA is to other fast food restaurant apps out there; yet again Chick-Fil-A proves they are unparalleled when it comes to fast food chains.
Chick-fil-A advertised free meals this week (October 16-20) to celebrate their ten year anniversary. I downloaded the app but was unable to create a sign in for a Chick-fil-A One account. I then visited the Verizon store for help and the very knowledgeable employee I spoke to tried to create a sign in on both my wife's Verizon phone and my Verizon phone for a Chick-fil-A One account. After trying for about 15 minutes he was unable to create any Chick-fil-A One accounts. He stated that the problem is with Chick-fil-A and not Verizon. Please check out and advise. Thanks
AVOID THIS STORE! This store is refusing to refund my $21 order when I complained about unsafe food prep regarding no safety-seals on my DoorDash milkshakes. One of the milkshakes was even low in normal volume quantity and appears possibly tampered with. The Park Blvd store is a much better store and ALWAYS puts red safety seals on their drinks/milkshakes. But apparently the Tyrone Blvd store (St Pete, FL) doesnt care about safety like the Park Blvd store does. I requested a refund but they denied me bc the order went thru DoorDash. I could understand Chickfilet not wanting to refund it if the complaint originated AFTER safety seals were placed, but the fact that the store released the products into the hands of an unknown DD stranger delivering my food with inadequate safety precautions in place at the time the order left the store makes the STORE responsible, not DoorDash. This store not only has little regard for product safety, but also little regard for maintaining customer service satisfaction as they refused to provide me the $21 refund I requested. Please dont make me have to start writing reviews all over town, or write a Yelp review, or contact the Department of Health. It would be much simpler on all of us if you just refund my $21. Jennifer Chase phone # 813-928-1533
Recently received an update request, after update lost all my info and rewards, will not re install what a rip off!
This app is so pointless they make u wait in line anyway like u ordered at the Speaker. Also making you buy a huge bottle of sauce if you want more than 2. Fucking pathetic for a whole meal. Be so for real. They’ll give u 6 at the store
The Chick-fil-A app was messed up for awhile and Chick-fil-A penalizes the loyal customer once app starts working again. The digital team does absolutely nothing to fix it and all you get is I'm sorry you can't upload your several missed transactions now the app is working on your phone. I'm very disappointed in the lack of concern from the CARES team and the digital team. They don't do anything to make it right or make you feel valued as a paying customer.
Why cant I remove an expired card? It says swipe left, nothing. How do you remove old debit card information?
I want to love the app but whenever I earn enough points to get anything free it still charges my card then still takes my points. This has happened to me twice. The third time I transferred funds out of the account linked to my app to see if it’ll do the same. It still tired to charge my card and still took my points after it forced me to cancel the order. On hold with the customer service line. Then they really expect you to wait in that long ass line when they know the app is trash smh!!!
