Why does the Dunkin App decrease my screen brightness down to almost zero as soon as the cashier scans my phone when I pay with the app? This has been happening for over a year

I can open the app, sign in, create and order just fine. When i try to finalize and pay it brings me to guest checkout. When i enter the information there it says i have an account and signs me in. Then when i go to check out again it repeats guest checkout. My information is and card are already saved it just won't let me checkout.

Under “Add/Manage cards” within “transaction history”, there is a notation on 4/14/23 on my account that says, “Freeze Active Card”. Today, I couldn’t pay with the $17.15 that is in my account and then I started searching and found this. Can you tell me what’s going on and how to get this fixed so I can pay with the DD app again?

I am unable to reload money to my account. I get error code APP4241. I have restarted my phone. Deleted and reinstalled the app. I took the cards off my account and now can’t add any back in. My Apple Pay will not work either (which is what I would normally use. I have also checked out my Apple Pay.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU KEEP CHANGING THE APP AND REWARDS. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT! For the past few days, I have not been able to finalize my order in the app. The app opens, I can add items to the cart, and I can go to my cart. The app will even show me the total with any applicable discounts but when I hit submit order, it clocks then says, “Unable to complete the order. Please verify the information below.” Then it gives me error message APP4241. Please fix this. The only discounts ya’ll have going on right now are order-ahead discounts, and I’m not able to order ahead.

My Dunkin app ID 1001 0008 0931 2300 shows a zero balance even though I successfully downloaded $50 from my USAA credit card associated with the account. I contacted USAA and they verified that USAA paid Dunkin $50 Dec 20th at 3:57 PM. I reported this to Dunkin, but I am unable to reach a person, all I got was a case number # 10744224. I am requesting a HUMAN to please call my cell 207-313-1386. Thanks in advance, Emile Poulin

When I try to login on the mobile app, I keep getting a message that says the app can't process my log at this time. (APP4247). So even though I am entering the correct email and password, I can't get into the app at all. Please fix this asap. I have points that are expiring and now that the program has changed, I have to use them. BTW, I don't like the new program at all.

Very frustrating that each time I try to use the app, the cashier states that the scan code on my is to blurry to use. I have had this trouble on two different phones and even lost $25 on the balance I had on the last app download, the Dunkin card I loaded on it disappeared so I added my CC to app and still can’t use the app to pay because the scan code isn’t clear enough to use which I don’t understand because I have an iPhone 13 so it shouldn’t be an issue. Help, I’m losing points by not using this app.

I use my app every morning. This morning, it said I had been logged out because someone else had attempted to use it. When I signed back in via Apple, I had no balance, no points and no history. Please help restore it back to the way it was April 14th.


Common dislikes about Dunkin' app

- I can’t custom tailor my order at all.

- There is no way to comment and or add anything to my order through writing and /or spot to add/drop things to a food or drink.

- The app defaulted to another location.

- The app was down and it showed that order history is unavailable at this time.

- It wouldn’t let me choose more than 12 donuts of my choice.

- The app freezes, has a fancy “favorites” feature but when I try to use it to reorder I get an error message that it can’t add it to my order right now.

- When I’ve ordered seasonal flavors if they’ve run out the app doesn’t tell you.
