Please I seriously having issues with my Facebook account backed up on Google authenticator because of it security.... Eventually my phone got formatted and I lost access to my Facebook account due to the process that I must input my Google authenticator security code..... please I'll love to have my Google authenticator data back on my mobile..or I can receive any of the codes on my email address

this app is more effective locking the owner out of their own account than preventing hackers. I'm locked out of my own wallet and recovery code was stored in my broken phone , have to consider paying a large sum for forensic data recovering before factory reset and im having anxiety attack waiting for the news . u guys should have warned users possible scenarios that might happen and keep the back up keys every where . I should have dug a hole in my garden and hide the back up code in a chest or something , in case of unforeseen scenarios .

New phone, all codes were lost from Authenticator. Old phone wiped clean with re-set. Key code shows invalid when entered on Authenticator, can someone help restore …my account is locked?

I recently bought a new iPhone 13 and I gave my daughter my old iPhone 6S. I got a new number for my new phone because my old phone number wasn’t local and I wanted a local phone number. Before I gave my old iPhone 6s to her I accidentally forgot to backup Google Authenticator before I factory reset it because I never saw anything in the app so I figured it would be backed up in iCloud. Now my Google Authenticator doesn’t recognize me and I’m afraid to even try the “get started” link on the app. I’m unable to access my assets and I can’t afford to lose all my assets (money) I have invested. My son and I back up each other through our Gmail emails and I hope this will help me recovery my Authenticator. Is there anyway to bypass or disable the Authenticator app? Hi there, last night my phone had an update which put the phone in a boot loop and I had to factory reset, in the process losing access to my Google Authenticator. Unfortunately I had no idea that I should have backed it up because I did not see anything from within the app and assumed it all gets stored on the Google cloud like everything else does. Sadly I am locked out from a lot of my financial sites and apps and need access to my authentication codes. Can you please help me reactivate my authenticator account?
