It doesn't come up often, but when I do get asked to fax something I usually have no idea where to start. I don't have a fax machine at home (like so many others these days) and sometimes I just can't find the time to make another stop in my day to do so. This handy app takes all of that stress away by letting you fax things directly from your phone. The document preview is great for making sure it won't look awful on the other end. Whether you import or take the photo with your phone, your documents will look professional in no time. While FaxfromiPhone itself is free, actually faxing something costs money. This is no surprise since you'll be charged to fax if you go into an office supplies store or something similar. Do a simple in-app purchase for credits and that's it! No big hassle and you'll have plenty of credits for later faxes, for a small price. Definitely worth the download if you work from home, on the go, or just don't want to mess with the fax machine in the office. ;)

FaxfromiPhone works just like you would expect a fax app to work: use the camera to capture images of documents, apply some rudimentary image quality filters, enter number, and send. What I don’t like:1. When dragging corners into place on a scan, my fat stump fingers cover the entire zoom area circle and I can’t see where I’m dragging the corner to. I’m on iPhone 6s Plus. Can’t imagine how much worse it would be on a smaller size phone.2. Non-intuitive options for how to go from scanning screen to faxing screen.3. Each scanned page of a document is saved as a separate document file. Foolish of me to expect that it would save as a single multi-page document, like many other fax apps do. 4. Subscription options only. Ok, there’s no free cheese, I get it. But if I only need to send one single fax in the foreseeable future, a subscription, even a week long one, is complete overkill. 5. Subscription pricing. It’s COVID-19 “shelter in place”. Funds are tight if not non-existent. Ugh.

Have you ever had to fast for any religious or medical reason? You feel hangry and desperate. That’s how I felt this morning when I went to get my blood drawn and the lab had not received my doctor’s electronic order in the their system. I had a copy on my phone, but it couldn’t be emailed. They needed it printed... or faxed... I was not going to let this fasting go to waste, so I hopped on Google to ask how to send a fax* from an iPhone. And there it was. You, efax, were the answer to my prayer.I downloaded FaxfromiPhone , typed in the office’s fax #, attached my order, and pressed send. They received it right away and I was able to get my blood work done. So thank you, efax, for your much needed assistance. I will be sure to utilize this in the future and will recommend your product to others. *Much like pagers/beepers are to hospitals, facsimiles (or faxes) are not completely obsolete and are still a preferred communication channel for many healthcare facilities due to HIPAA/PHI compliancy.

I signed up for a free account so I could fax some tax documents to the IRS without having to leave my house. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezey. Well, kinda. I had more issues combining my document into 1 PDF than I had sending the fax. But I pay for the Adobe suite so once I got it sorted out it was relatively painless from there. FYI -Sign up via iTunes for an easier cancellation process. If you sign up via iTunes, you can cancel in FaxfromiPhone Store, but, if you sign up via a computer/website, you have to call their hotline to cancel. That’s a big NOPE from me. I think it’s grimey to not let you cancel the same way you sign up. Pretty sure it’s illegal in some places to require a phone call for cancellation, but I probably just made that up because it should be a law everywhere. P.S. Don’t forget to cancel your subscription once you receive confirmation of receipt.

I have been using the Efax app for four years and we love FaxfromiPhone . It’s so easy and it works great. I have never had any problems or outages ever. They even changed my fax number to a local number after we moved twice and without a charge. It’s so convenient to be able to access my faxes right from my phone instead of having to wait until I would get home to look at the fax. Then I’m able to print out the fax for my next days work. Previously before Efax I kept a home phone just so I could have a fax, but I had to wait until I got home to get them. And do I have to mention the cost of that home phone just to be able to have the fax. I used to pay $22 a month for that home phone plus you know they add taxes & fees, now I only pay about half that and I’m charged once a year on my business credit card.

A great app that could be awesome with a couple of changes.I really needed to FAX some papers in a hurry and being in a small town in the middle of nowhere there really isn’t options, so I decided to see if I could find a way to fax straight from my device and I found FaxfromiPhone. I love that you can send a fax in minutes from anywhere on your devices.I also absolutely love that I can pull documents from just about any other app! This made it easier and faster due to needing to fax documents that I had in multiple apps in one fax.I am disappointed in not being able to see the pages that were previously faxed. Also, that I had to buy more credits than I needed instead of just paying for just what I needed faxed at the moment. I would most likely change my rating to a 5 star if these things were implemented.

FaxfromiPhone is terrific. It is spectacularly totally ubular tubular. I didn't even know you could send faxes anymore, especially on iOS, which makes FaxfromiPhone totally retro. While it is an app maybe mainly designed and targeted to older people/business owners, which is perfectly fine, but while you'd expect an app with a below-average interface with such a target audience, it is not so. Possibly the best part of FaxfromiPhone , the user interface is fantastic. FaxfromiPhone is vital for all faxing-people, and I highly recommend it. I'd even recommend it simply to stare in awe at the interface, which is beautiful. I am thoroughly impressed and I believe FaxfromiPhone could be the next big thing. I am confident that many people agree with me. Great work on FaxfromiPhone , you fantastic developers! I can't wait to see what you will do next with your killer skills!

x that you need. And not only that, the beauty of its simplistic design is very aesthetically pleasing. Unlike other apps, whose UI is clunky and difficult to work with, FaxfromiPhone's UI is easy to use, even for technology beginners. The direction the developers went with making sure that it is easy to use is certainly a main selling point. You only need to input a recipient and chose a fax to send, and presto, it's sent. It doesn't get any simpler than that. I've tried a number of fax apps before but they just don't amount to the quality of this one. I would undoubtedly recommend FaxfromiPhone to anyone that asks. I cannot stress this enough, FaxfromiPhone is wonderful. Easy, simple, and beautiful. It is anything and everything you could ever ask for in an app. So stop reading this and go download it. It's risk free, and you won't regret it.

I decided to try it anyway to see for myself. Granted, I have only had it 5 minutes so far, but that was enough time to open 5 faxes from my inbox and 3 from my sent box. Not sure if an update was sent out to address the number 1 complaint, but I am able to see the faxes just fine. I have not tried to compose and send a fax yet nor have I fiddled around with it long enough to see if it crashes or not, but so far so good. If you are new to Efax or have had problems viewing faxes with FaxfromiPhone in the past, try out the latest version. All previous problems SEEM to have been addressed and resolved.

Want to start by saying that I use FaxfromiPhone every day for my job and I spend a lot of money on credits. Most faxes show you status like "connecting", "dialing", etc. I love using FaxfromiPhone but since I use it while sitting in front of clients to do claims I don't like that we just have to stare at a stationary screen. When a fax fails, it doesn't give you any reason why, thus a status bar would be helpful to know on whose end the problem is. It would also be nice to be able to look at history and see what pages were sent so I can verify if someone says "I never got that". If it had these I would definitely make it 5 stars. I have a lot of credits left over but when those run out I will probably shop around if no changes are made.

I dont usually do reviews but here I go. FaxfromiPhone works. I do a lot of Faxing to the government (IRS) and FaxfromiPhone is wonderful. However, once the documents are faxed - when you go to the history/list of faxes sent there is a list of all your faxes but you don't know which one is which because all you see is the list of fax numbers. There is no name of who you faxed to even if you select from your contacts. Also, you don't get to see exactly what you faxed because there is no record of it anywhere - again only the fax numbers. So if you need proof of what you faxed and you need to know or keep track of whom you faxed to than FaxfromiPhone is not for you. But again, it does get the job done of getting your faxes to the recipient. My score is 3.5 for this reason.

So, sounds too good to be true, right? Faxing from a phone? Well, it does it perfectly. After faxing a few important documents I was afraid it wasn’t going through. So I testing it on a relatives fax a moment ago... it works perfectly! So I immediately pulled it up to set this review. It doesn’t give a confirmation number and you can’t review what’s been sent after it’s been sent — it will just verify how many pages, to what number, what time and if the delivery was successful by noting a green check. But hey, I spent a credit to check it... and it was a credit well spent. Well worth having. Yes, you have to pay to fax, but if I were to go somewhere to fax, they’d charge too... so I saved my gas $ by doing it this way.

Glad to be able to publicize this update in which I must praise “Dee” who contacted me via email and demonstrated that Efax is a fair-minded, customer-valuing, quality business that uses good business practices that promote customer loyalty and positive word-of-mouth consumer advertising! A positive handling of my questions and request and the unexpected extension of a customer courtesy on the part of Efax proved to me that the administrative agents of Efax are as “user-friendly” and reliable as FaxfromiPhone itself which I find to be an efficient, inexpensive entrepreneurial dream-come-true! Efax cares about its customers and offers a quality product that is highly affordable and amazingly useful! I’m so impressed and highly recommend FaxfromiPhone and this Company!
