Summary of Google Photos Problems 🔥

- Glitch where it forces you to scroll all the way back to the top

- Will now be charging for more space

- Extra steps of uploading photos then deleting them off phone

- Not practical compared to iCloud

its been almost 12 days and still no photos, ran tracking number, said delivered to my local usps post office, they say they dont have them that ups has them, ups says the post office has them, been on the phone for 5 hrs trying to locate my pictures, cant get anyone to help, looks like there lost so can u please send me new ones and please dont use the same service , these pictures are very important to me

Using photoroom is freezing and crashing my desktop now I will remove chrome for good I have a business and cannot keep wasting my mornings with this it is slowing down my system and yes I have updated chrome blah blah blah

How to fix Google Photos app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Google Photos app on iPhone
Update Google Photos app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Google Photos iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Google Photos on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Google Photos network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Google Photos Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Google Photos not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Google Photos App
1. On android, goto Settings » Google Photos » click [Force Stop]

Update Google Photos to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Google Photos App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Google Photos » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Google Photos.

Fix Google Photos unable to contact server/ Google Photos internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Google Photos » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Google Photos » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Google Photos
