When selecting a trip from the “Trips” page on the United app, a pop up menu saying “Close” appears. I cannot use the ‘Trips’ function on the app therefore.

When try to download, tells me app won't work on my device (Samsung S7). Does not tell me why. If I search for united airlines app for android, the app doesn't even show up. I had the app before my last trip, but removed it because it was no longer able to perform some function (perhaps check-in). So I removed it entirely, but now have been unable to install it at all on my Samsung S7 - while the device is old, it has the latest operating system.

Always used my Samsung android tablet for inflight entertainment but it stopped working now when I try to update to the new version it say my device is not compatible. There is no number to technical support as I would like to know what is required and what is compatible.

Installed United app on my iphone 11 without any problelm, but everything I try to open from there (such as "wallet", "view profile and settings", "my account") kicks me out of the app. Also, on my home pc, am unable to add my passport.

I recently became Silver Status and the app shows my status, but when I show my boarding pass it does not show the status on the boarding pass and is not giving me the "perks" of silver status. How can I get this resolved?

United App doesn't work on Android 13. Crashes constantly. Won't play videos for free in-flight entertainment. It took 6 tries to get a credit card to load to the wallet.

After scanning my son’s passport it says it must verify that the passport is eligible for travel (which may take up to 5 minutes) but it later stops and says “We’re sorry, something went wrong.”

We travel tomorrow.

The biometric (fingerprint) login doesn't work for the mobile app. Each time I have to type my credentials to login. I'm not even prompted for a fingerprint login, even though I've enabled it countless times.

I am traveling from Cleveland to Portland, Maine July 2. I have a layover in Newark. The second portion of my flight lists two other cities. I would like to be able to show a boarding pass from my phone when I get on the flight from Newark.

I just installed the United Airlines android app. I selected the fingerprint method for logging on. I tried logging on and off a few times and discovered that fingerprint login worked once and only once. I now have to type my account and password to log on. I have a number of apps that work flawlessly eith fingerprint login.

Passport scanning not working AT ALL. When I try to check in over the app everything seems fine. I am able to upload my COVID data and my date of birth and name. Then it wants me to scan my passport and it won’t work at all! There are no further instructions on how to scan the passport and I have tried it several times. This is a big issue and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

The log in with the biometric in the mobile app stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times and just spent an hour on the phone with Samsung tech support. If someone from the United app technical support could call me - 201-805-8164.

App keeps disappearing from phone an I have to reinstall. No other apps are doing this. It is unique to United Air app


Common dislikes about United Airlines app

- Have to close the app to get updated reservations

- Poor customer service when trying to get information about a lost suitcase

- No lounge access with United Club pass

- Baggage check-in requires 45 minutes before departure

- Flight was delayed by 18 hours and had to fly via Munich with a layover

- Plane was cramped and had no plugs for devices
