Select a story, after number of ads you might get a story but not the one you wanted.
I get a pop up of Breaking News. Select it and says they will be back. They come on with ad after ad, after ad until I close FOX6 .
Pick an “ also viewed “ will lock up and worse quit on page 27 of 29 pages. 58 app is better.

As much as I like this app, my local network, I really dislike their app. Videos don’t play. Audio on videos gets overlapped by advertisements. Videos in a series skip and won’t even play. Stories link to “congratulations iPhone user!” pop-up scams which block your chance of even viewing the story so you just skip it altogether. Functionality is just bad. User friendliness is bad. I know they make their money with adverts, but when they take over a story and are in poor taste, give me a break...this app can do better. These issues have plagued my use of FOX6 for years...from the iPhone 4 to my 8+.

FOX6 freezes 90% of the time whenever I am scrolling down to read a story. I close FOX6 , then open it again, and it’s still frozen on the same screen. Annoying. I end up having to read the story hours later.

FOX6 will not play videos well. I also don't like how sensitive the ads are within each article-sometimes I don't even touch the ad and it pops up in another window in Safari. I also don't like that the content doesn't match the things on FB. I would rather look at it through FB because I don't have trouble with the ads and it's much easier to view a video.

Just want to catch some news before work. The live coverage sits on “we’ll be right back” for minutes at a time. To come back with a commercial and then flip to rotating traffic cams for minutes on end. If i wanted to see traffic cams in rotation I’d go to the DOT site.

Weird music plays every time I open a story, and I cannot find what it’s related to to make it stop. Some song about a sunny day. I will be uninstalling FOX6 until that’s fixed because it’s completely useless to me with that going on.

FOX6 itself is isn’t bad but the only thing I use it for is the watch live feature. Most of the of the time it’ll show you 3 commercials than go dark. When it’s good it’s good but that’s fewer and far between these days.

I’ve been using FOX6 several times a day for years on my iPhone 6 Plus with no problem. About a month ago, (June 2019) FOX6 would freeze almost daily and I have to reload it.

Seems a bit better edited lately. For awhile I was sending weekly corrections to the website.

I love this app news...it’s really great to have news and weather that’s on point. I rarely watch any other news channels... eve if I leave town I’m looking for local Fox News. FOX6 is awesome as well.

The site is usually kept up to date and gives a good report on what is happening. Most of the time they respect the privacy of the families.
