Unlike a lot of other reviewers who only use this once or twice for little things, I was a hard-core user. I have literally left more than 10,000 reports on solicitors. I average around 9 to 11,000 solicitation calls a year due to my business. Any review you see on this app with the word cockroach is probably my review. It started as a great app. Then it got buggy, wouldn't refresh, wouldn't reload, I would go to check a missed call and it would show the last call I made was on Thursday and it was now Monday and there were probably 300 phone calls between that time. When you're self-employed, you have to make a lot of phone calls. I discovered early on that I could not use most of the blocking features, I should say Spam features, because their version of spam was anyone with the same pretext number as yours. Well, that's half my client base! I can't block half my client base! So I turned that feature off from the get-go. I tolerated it as it was for a couple years, then they shortened the description we could give of the solicitor. Hear me out here, I'm getting 30 to 50 Spam calls a day, let me have a little bit of fun OK? if I wanna call a guy who has harassed me for months, a cockroach, a bedbug and vermin, after about the 20th phone call from these idiots. I feel like I have deserved the right to call them that. They shortened the description, unfortunately, this made it more difficult to explain, legitimate comments with company names and cross references to other solicitor phone numbers. The kind of things I would want to know if someone had called me from that number. So it's less useful now, but I still continued to use the service. The laggy lack of updates and lack of being current got worse and worse and worse. I was already shopping for a new app when two days ago they decided to update the app. So did they fix all those bugs? No! Of course, not! They just added more features to make you pay more money. Why would I do that? Aura does all those things they are advertising and does it 20 times better. And guess what? Aura even has an AI voice messaging system that operates in much the same manner as a personal assistant. So I canceled my VPN provider, and canceled ActiveArmor, and I just went with Aura for everything. And I'm much happier. Oh, and did I mention the update in addition to not fixing all the current bugs, they also shrunk the text??? They made everything look prettier but now I can't read any of it! I wear reading glasses. I often submit these reports while I am driving. I am not about to put on reading glasses while I'm driving down the road. just another case of a corporation not understanding what their customers really want. They never listen, they never will.
