The app says that I have no duplicate photos but I do. Help!
Hello! I downloaded a trial of Cleanup and needed to cancel it today. A family member had a stroke yesterday and I am underwater. I am writing to ask if you will consider a one-time cancellation without charge. I will probably try it again in the future, but I am only taking care of necessary tasks now.
I have cancelled this app but I am still getting charged every few days for it and twice for a yearly subscription for the same year.

I seem to have lost individual contacts and had them merged in with other contacts. For instance 11111@redacted and 22222@redacted show under 11111@redacted when they should be separate. How do I separate them and keep them separated?

Though the app looks promising but it doesn’t deliver. I have over 400 gigs of media files on my iPhone 12 max pro. It took a while to scan. That’s fine but it doesn’t do in the background. You have to leave the app open. It groups the photos in many small sets of 2 to 30 photos. Most of the times it is less than 5 photos. So many many group of sets. After reviewing each set and hit “move to trash” it takes 5 to 8 seconds to do that. This is completely unacceptable as it take forever to review and delete files. Besides it chose some photo as “Best photo”. It is not best one. I think it is randomly picking one as bedt. Also the app is jerky when you try to scroll the group of sets. Just lost $4.99 for just one week subscription than to their Instagram marketing. Manually cleanup is much better than using this useless app.

I waited an entire day of barely being able to touch my phone in order for the app to go through all of my photos, etc. If you attempt to use your phone, the app takes a while to pick-up where it left off again. I paid $7 (which I hope can get refunded) but the app is super-glitchy. It selects photos I did not select for deletion and skips the ones I actually did select to delete. Because it’s so unreliable and time-consuming, I ended up restoring everything in my trash bin and am seeking a different app that can be trusted to get the job done. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

The app is a waste of money. You have to go through the paywall to use it in any significant way. Every single time I delete “duplicates” the app crashes and never restarts again. I’ve tried every troubleshooting method possible (restart phone, restart app, etc). I literally have to delete the app and download it again in order to open the app to be able to use it. This is absurd. You then have to start the scanning process all over again which takes half a day (and you have to clean the app open!). What a waste of money!
