3 months agoCheck in barcode operation failed. This message is all I get when I put in barcode. Have tried register scan by manager and it will not work. I have tried to fix this the last 7 times I have been to same location. Manager useless at Walton location Bentonville AR.

5 months agoI ordered over the phone two sandwiches and two salads and when I got home noticed they charged me 1.35 fee for phone call order. That is crazy you would think we were doing them a favor and giving them time to make the order. This location was the 405 Pooler Parkway Pooler GA 912-330-2636.

1 year agoI have been a long time customer of McAlister's Deli , before the pandemic your wait staff was very friendly, caring and knew how to treat the customers...….I said to myself during and while we were coming off the pandemic the wait staff has changed completely...….I went today for lunch, which I had been a couple times within the last couple three months or so...…It is so sad that the current waitstaff is not being trained properly, have no people skills, and the tables around the area of t he dining room are dirty, food on the flood, and not being taken care of....I had vowed I would not be going back but after a while today thought things were better?????NOT I ordered Choose Two, Chicken Caesars Wrap and Caesars Salad............to my disappointment, half of the lettuce was wilted and the wrap was stuffed all hanging out with the chicken.....what a waste of food and not to be able to eat ...........so discussing I must say.......it is not the same as before...….more needs to be done to get the food the way it use to be...…. have no desire to go back...…. Half and Half tea is delicious.........

2 years agoI was in McAlister's Deli last night in Abilene, TX located on S. Clack St. I had a fairly large order that I had called in. I get to the restaurant and had to add another sandwich. The manager took the order which included 2 spuds. He adjusts my price and I pay for the order. A few people had come into the restaurant by then and ordered to go's as well. I'm sitting there for a few minutes and an employee finally asks me my name. I tell him. Everyone that came in and ordered after me, received their food and left. After about 45 minutes of me being there, I get told by the manager that they are out of spuds and it will be about another 30 minutes. I called this order in and not one word was mentioned of no spuds. I was mad by this time, but trying to keep a calm head. The employee that was running expo was very disrespectful to the manager and didn't seem to care. Y'all probably don't care either as I know there is an employee shortage right now. I hope that I never go back to that location. I work for a restaurant myself in the same town and if that were one of us, we'd been fired on the spot for insubordination. Good Luck to you all!

2 years agoThere are options unexplainably or unnecessarily missing within app. When I order a chipotle chicken sandwich & it leads me to select a side, it won’t allow me to choose Mac & Cheese as my side. The option doesn’t show up under “select side” although the particular McAlisters restaurant I was ordering through did have Mac & cheese in stock (I ordered over phone via calling in) I also wanted to select the option to get extra Chipotle sauce on my sandwich, but this particular it wouldn’t allow me to select extra of this particular sauce option. I could opt to leave it OFF but not add extra like possible with others sauce options. Please figure these strange glitches out & will use the App vs. calling in directly to store location. Thx!

3 years agoWe ordered an order to go. I live thirtyminutes away. My order online was correct. But we had the wrong sandwich when we got home. Not a happy camper. In the age we live in online and pick up should be checked more carefully

3 years agoWe just had dinner at your Springfield MO N. Kearney deli. We do not enjoy watching blood sports such as boxing, kick boxing etc while sitting down to dinner. I'm not big on football but I can tolerate it. I prefer HGTV and it is Christmas time and there are families dining too. But tonight was to much, kick boxing, a stupid Bill Murray movie ( I pray I never see sch stupidity on TV again) and then a movie with sex and language that any 5 year old could read. I give credit to the employees who tried to change the channels but as usual the remotes didn't work(any of the 5) and I also know that they don't have time to cater to one customer. Your employees are some of the best we have encountered and during this pandemic have scrubbed floors and chairs. We have seen it. My thoughts are that YOU should be hiring outside help for this job so they can do the job they were hired for. Or do you hire janitors to serve or servers to clean your deli so you aren't out any money? Personally you could not pay me enough to be assistant manager, and it's obvious they are AND scrubb your floors pandemic or not.

I have never had a problem on the app till tonight and it said that something was not available And I tried to check out....but it wouldn’t tell me why it was not available at the Fountain City store in Knoxville Tennessee. So I decided to call the store and I must’ve ended up in the Philippines where he didn’t understand anything I was ordering ...and then he couldn’t take my money over the phone.... I was on hold for 20 minutes till he transferred me to the store on Broadway in fountain city/Knoxville Tennessee..The lady who Answered the phone said that all catering orders go through a call-center I was not placing a catering order I was ordering for my son and myself $21 to be exact. The lady on the telephone In the store on Broadway in Knoxville Tennessee didn’t seem too concerned and didn’t care that I didn’t place my order. Why can’t we just talk to someone on the telephone that is literally in the location we are trying to order from???? Why does everything have to be transferred over the Atlantic ocean or the Pacific ocean when we are in the United States of America. The reason everyone is going out of business is because there is no customer service anymore.

When I first got this app, I used it every time I went to a McAlister’s. Now, with the removal of basic sandwiches on the menu, which is all I order, it’s useless to me. By “basic sandwich,” I mean I can’t order a pastrami on rye on the app, which is about as basic as you can get. It would be okay if the restaurant just didn’t allow it, but they still do, you just have to call it in, or order at the counter and wait fifteen minutes. Update: App is officially useless. When trying to order, I get to a point where I’m unable to actually select anything. Sandwich selection doesn’t populate. Clicking on “mushroom soup” in the What’s New section is the closest I can get to an actual order. I’m asked to choose the size, with no options for size. I doubt anyone is actually still minding this app. Stay away. Call or order at the counter, and hope the person tending to you knows what they’re doing. In my experience, they won’t. I’ve stopped going to McAlister’s because the experience is so awful, from the app to in person.

I use to go to Mcalister’s in Odessa Texas and loved their food. My first time at your new location in Granbury Texas and I was so disappointed. I bought one of your Chicken Salad sandwiches and it was like someone took a knife and wiped the chicken salad on like peanut butter. I have had this sandwich in Odessa Texas and it was loaded with chicken Salad. Your staff needs some schooling on making a sandwich. I spent $7.00 for a sandwich with no chicken salad on it. SO DISAPPOINTED!! Well second time to order a Chicken Salad Sandwich and even had the manager of the store in Granbury check to see if there was a good amount on my sandwich. She came back to the window and said, “Oh Yes , you will get a bite of chicken salad in every bite. Well I got home with my sandwich and it was the same as the first one. I will never buy a chicken salad sandwich from your store again, I can’t trust that I pay $7.00 for a sandwich and get a swipe of chicken salad like a condiment. Really a joke. But I’m not laughing.
