Saw Parkaroo on the news and read the reviews. seems like the reviews are fake because they’re all 5 stars but there are no spots. Parkaroo doesn’t do anything

Developer claims they’re not selling parking spots yet they use the language “buyer” and “seller” in their app to describe the transaction. Parkaroo is allegedly free but will not let you find a spot without a credit, which are priced at $8.99.
Happy to check with the City of New York to see what they think of your business model.

Selling parking spots should be illegal. Parkaroo is only giving a portion to charity so it doesn’t get banned. It’s trying to make it so you have to pay a private company every time you want to park your car. No thanks.

this is definitely a much needed app. parking in the city is always such a mess and i often avoiding going just for that reason! it is super easy to use and even has a helpful tutorial when you open it up. i would definitely recommend that all new yorkers and city goers download it immediately!!

This is great idea for an app. I park in NYC almost everyday and Parkaroo literally saves me 45 minutes a day looking for parking. I can’t believe Parkaroo was coded by a high schooler!
