GuySpy: Gay Dating & Chat Reviews

I know GuySpy for ages and I remember when it used to work, not only that the actual website also worked. That’s a thing of the past I guess.

Management does not even remotely care if the website works or not, it’s impossible to retrieve a chat.

It’s an app that slowly has been dying for one single reason: lack of interest. It was a pretty decent concept but I don’t know if the owners didn’t have the resources or just gave up. If they want to close the gap with Grindr they need to be invest in GuySpy and attract users.

Ah also if you want users to return, don’t charge them. There’s no point on doing that there’s nothing to see or worse; to meet at least nearby. Everyone is 100s of miles away.

In this day and age, the name of GuySpy isn’t quite appealing. We are bombarded by media with stories of espionage, and frankly spying translates to stalker (for most) and let’s face it, who likes to be spyed on? Just being objective

Why does it say “562 reviews” yet only a handful appear when you click “show all”. Whatever order you choose “show most helpful first, most critical first, etc.” it just shuffles the same hand-full (a dozen or so) reviews around... it’s very odd. I downloaded GuySpy but have yet to set up an account so don’t judge it by my one star, maybe it’s really fantastic. Odd though... most reviews say there’s “nobody on it”; perhaps the reason for so few reviews...? Dunno. Let’s see if this posts.

I am trying to login to my account and it will not allow me to press anything else on GuySpy without input of mandatory fields. I put everything in GuySpy , yet it only response with the same message.

Also I want my money back paying for GuySpy. I paid for extra to see if I can get my old messages back. They are not on their any more? Why is that?

I am a member or Pink Triangle’s website (squirt) and a big fan, but have been wishing for an app version. However this its what I was hoping for. Biggest problem for me is the lack of guys near me. Not nearly active enough. Even outside of that though, GuySpy seems very standard/ordinary. It is very similar to all the other dating apps, except that it’s not quite are intuitive. Maybe one day... 🤞🤞🤞

My only problem with GuySpy is that the brother site to GuySpy should be linked together. If you pay for one you should get the other. Talking about Squirt

I have been trying to log in every week for 2 months. I utilize the ‘forget password’ option [or the likeness] and I do not ever see an email from your Corp office or from GuySpy support team. I truly do not know what else to do. I can’t call any number, as there is not one to call. I re-downloaded GuySpy as I was suppose to be meeting someone back in September. If there was a ‘0’ stars option, I would be choosing it.

Tried this yesterday. When I attempted to upload a photo from my iPhone it only gave me the last 3 days instead of all my folders. I also couldn’t put in my hometown. Tried various towns nearby but no luck. Support is horrible. Deleted account and app immediately. The two links they have in their email to unsubscribe don’t even work!

People shouldn't be able too sign in without a face pick

This is a great site. You can find men all over the world. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s checking it out.

GuySpy is ok for what is offers no doubt, but unfortunately it seems as though there’s hardly ever anyone online

Just not a crustal mass of guys in the area on GuySpy. But I get a lot of contacts from guys hundreds of miles away or guys in the military on a peacekeeping mission to countries we don’t have peacekeeping operations in. No different than any other app in that regard though.

I’ve tried many of time to register for GuySpy and everyScreen name I tried does not work. It literally won’t let you insert in a name it will say every name is used, this is absolutely waste of your money and time.

Decent group a few guys did not respond but that’s typical of many groups? All in all good experience!!!

Good site let’s you really see who’s around you

Horrible. Probably the worst app ever. I promise you over half of the guy are BLANK profiles. If this site wants to keep up w/ competitors, you better demand their face pics. Just awful and I’m in Chicago a huge city. GuySpy is probably defunct and just keeps going. Horrible.

GuySpy works well. No obnoxious ads. No moronic mods. But there are NO GUYS within 150 miles of me. Hoping this will change once more people move to GuySpy. It has great potential.
