Love it but have small suggestions

I really like SweatDeck and the in-app purchase is worth the upgrade. I also love that it speaks the rep count and exercise! I have a few ideas, all of which have to do with making it easier to advance to the next card. Hopefully some of these are already In the works.

The problem is that during a workout I don’t want to be constantly stopping and picking up/putting down my phone to change cards. How about...

1. Create a companion Apple Watch app who’s only purpose is to advance the cards with a tap on the screen.
2. Build in a voice recognition feature so saying “next” will advance to the next card.
3. Advance to the next card based on a set time that the user determines.
4. Or at the very least make the entire screen tap-able to advance to the next card as opposed to a small green box.

Other ideas...

1. AirPlay so I can mirror app on my Apple TV. Or even better an Apple TV version of be app.
2. Full screen mode
3. Ability to select music from within app

Thanks for the great work and I look forward to continued use and improvements 👍🏼

A Winning Hand

I’ve been wanting to try the “Deck of Pain/Deck of Death” exercise routine for sometime. I was excited to find “Sweat Deck” that offers personalization for your routine so it doesn’t become ritualistic. I appreciate the creators of SweatDeck and after just one day using it I’ve upgraded.

Why spend money on a gym membership you’ll use only when your resolutions are new? Why drain your wallet for exercise equipment that will just gather dust? “Sweat Deck” gives you a winning hand in a game where too often the deck is stacked against you.

“Sweat Deck” is worth the gamble!

I like it a lot, but there is one issue.

For the most part I like SweatDeck a lot! I purchased the pro version so that I could add more exercises because I like it so much. The only issue I have is the randomness. I appreciate that it’s truly random but getting the same high rep exercise three to five times in a row is every time I work out is frustrating. So maybe a little less truly random? That is my only complaint though. For now I just swipe the back into the pile but then you also run the risk of the last several sets being the same all high rep exercises.

Revised review.

The first time I tried to use SweatDeck it gave me a king of hearts three times out of the first ten cards. I checked and the settings were correct for a single deck. I left a rather scathing review. I decided to try it again and deleted/reinstalled it. I’ve run ten decks in a row and that bug has NOT reappeared. So, I’m giving it a four star review instead. Looks like I jumped the gun on the negative review.

I’d give five stars if I could use my Apple Watch to advance the cards. Dev, please consider adding that feature as many other fitness apps, including deck of card workouts like RipDeck and general workout apps like JEFIT have Apple Watch apps.

My favorite work out app

I have downloaded several fitness apps free and some I paid for. I have even done the Emily Skye and Anna Victoria apps. I don’t really feel the need for a meal plan and just wanted something easy for on the go fitness that gets my heart rate going! SweatDeck is perfect for keeping my workouts varied and (unlike the ES and AV apps) I don’t need to have service bc some gyms I’ve gone to are like bomb shelters lol. The free version is good but worth the one time $3.99 for the larger variety of exercises. I also love how the jokers are whatever exercise you chose.

Easy versatile exercises anywhere you go

I got this after seeing a pro wrestler use it. She had good things to say so I tried it. Even for free SweatDeck is solid. Pick four exercises and how many you want to do. Eventually I paid the small fee to unlock the full version. This adds little animations showing what the exercises look like, plus the ability to customize it. You can also save and load workouts in the full version.

Cannot recommend SweatDeck enough.

Awesome

Love it. I bought the full version. I probably didn’t need to, but I wanted to put in my own exercises, and I’m someone who needs everything except the workout to be as easy as possible in order to actually do it.

It’s great. I workout more now that I have it. Does not feel like you’re doing as many reps as you are. Fun to do with a friend.

Great App / Need more options for upgraded version

First off I wanted to share that I love SweatDeck . However as my fitness level increases I was wondering if there is an option to select 8 exercises when you select to do 2 decks. As of right now I can only do the 4 exercises when I select the 2 deck option . I understand this still adjust the workout for more reps but allowing for more exercise options would greatly diversify ones workout.

Pretty good...room to improve

SweatDeck works as promised. Would be really nice if I could advance cards with my Apple Watch which I don’t think is possible currently. Other suggestion is to have a slider that shows rep progress similar to the slider that shows the number of cards left. So if your exercise has 400 total reps and you’ve got 100 remaining the slider would show you at 75% complete. I find this more useful than number of cards remaining in the deck.

Wish in was compatible with the Apple Watch

I tried this today and felt it didn’t flow very well having to go back and tap the card after each exercise. I wish there were an better way to tap thru the cards. Maybe a watch app??? Maybe have a choice of how many cards are displayed at once....for example draw four cards then tap for the next four. I liked it though. It would be nice to customize the face cards as well so change them from the rest of the suit.

Great for a quick workout

I would like to add more random variety to my routines and SweatDeck give me a roulette of options. I would give it five stars, but as of now I don’t know if there is a way to add additional cards to a workout deck for longer routines or more variety. Right now I see four cards and two jokers but I would like to add more than four for additional variety. Altogether great and worth the pro.

Great short workout

No thought required. Just work out and, appropriately enough, get a good sweat going. Well worth the money to be able to enter your own exercises. (Reviewers note/suggestion: put a default where the same suit cannot hit more than 3 in a row - +/- 30 or so pull-ups in a row is a will-breaker. I know you can swipe but that just puts the misery at the end...) Love SweatDeck !

Endurance, strength & endorphins

Great way to get a full workout in when you don’t have time to get to a gym or structured class. Variety to not get stuck in a rut & to help build up endurance, strength and endorphins. I’d recommend the upgrade to pro if you enjoy tracking your progress and the ability to expand the bank of exercises!

The app is amazing but there just a couple of things that could be better

I love SweatDeck! I get a good intense workout and I feel great. Such a convenient and interactive way to workout. But I wish that there was an option add more than 6 cards in one exercise set and for the joker cards to appear more than once.

Raining day workouts

Great app for raining day workouts or days you don’t have time for the gym. I bought the premium version a few years ago and it was worth the few bucks I paid. I’m not one to normally pay for apps but I really like them one and that it’s customizable.

Super fun!

I love SweatDeck and I would recommend this to anyone looking for some simple exercises! The it’s self is very simple and there are no adds (Which is the best!) and it’s very personalized because it lets you pick how many reps and how many cards also what exercise! The give you a list of exercises to do. Overall it’s the best app on my iPhone!

Best deck of cards app once you pay

It's slick if you like the included exercises but once you pay the small price you can add all of your favorite movements. I love SweatDeck. It has made it so I never have to search for a deck of cards again. I recommend it for anyone who likes deck of cards style workouts.

Amazing

SweatDeck is a great way to exercise. It pushes you and makes you want to try harder every time and that is great. It is very challenging and exciting. I would recommend it to anyone who is willing to put the effort in and try.

Perfect App for Quarantine!

SweatDeck was so helpful during time away from the gym. So many body weight exercises from which to chose. Best of all, you can add movements very easily. If I’m looking for a good all around workout, Deck of Cards is my go to.

Perfect

If you enjoy designing your workouts SweatDeck will help you simplify (what in my case often become over thought) your workouts and intensify them.
For me this has turned into a HIIT weight training app. I love it and would highly recommend.

Really awesome

SweatDeck is awesome! Even if same workout is choose the variety each time in reps and card pattern is awesome. Free version is great but the the $4.99 to track your work out and find new exercises is a steal. If you do not know a workout they have a easy tutorial for each one.

I am an avid weight lifter. Heavy weight, chains, squat, bench, deadlift body is big but not toned. I was also a collegiate football player. SweatDeck has changed my body for the better and I feel quick and am getting ripped. Keeping me young

Not quite working

I went for 34 min but the entire time the scroll bar said 7/54. When my husband tried to scroll ahead to see when I’d be done it wouldn’t go back in order. When I hit finish, after 35 min and at least 52 cards and resulted in 17 cards

Even with all of that working, the options are limited unless you pay
