My favorite puzzle game

With the millions of candy crush copies, and complicated puzzle games, "this app ?" takes a new approach. This game is deceptively simple, with a basic concept of getting rid of all white blocks, but taking it, and perfecting it. It slowly adds new concepts and gives you one or two levels to get used to them. In these intro levels you can test methods and figure out what the concepts are, and how to beat the level with them. Speaking of the levels, each level is one screen, giving you all the pieces to complete it, just not giving you the way to order the pieces. This makes each completed level giving a sense of satisfaction, and a sense of the incoming challenge. Getting stuck is a usual thing in puzzle games, but in this app ? getting stuck only teaches you more, and helps in later levels by giving you a new way of thinking of levels. Most levels have a few ways of completing them, so replaying the game is fun and rewarding. this app ? is an original puzzle game, and one I will be always praising. I love this game. this app?

Excellent puzzle for short sweet mind strengthening

I got this game because I’ve seen reviews from other people how “this is an amazing straightforward simple puzzle game”, and to be honest, all of these positive, almost over-praising reviews, are correct. This game is incredibly simple, it’s fun, the premise of using music chords is great, the best part about it is that you have to think. When it comes to mobile games, they’re kinda just where you turn off your brain and tune out everything while you play a boring stupid repetitive garbage pile. With this, however, you have to really think and understand how the ball is going to bounce, how the shapes change the course and how just a slightly different angle can change is you pass the level. This game is to me, the perfect mobile game.

Would totally recommend to anybody who enjoys logic puzzles

I have been here before!

This is not my first review nor is it the first time I rated this game. However the first time was years ago. But that time if memory serves I did contribute some cash money besides the review. I’d like to say that it’s a wonderful game and it requires some thought and some manipulation of the tiny ball to get it to do your bidding.I am retired now so I find myself with more time on my hands but this game consumes time without your knowledge, you look at the clock play the game the next time you look at the clock hours have passed! I find myself wondering now if you made any other wonderful games! In any case thanks for this one and I hope you make millions with it although it seems obvious to me that was not your goal…
So thank you for a wonderful game that I keep returning to thyme and again.

A Melodic Masterpice

I have seen many aiming games in my time as an avid app user. Whether it be bacon or bows or even random objects, it seems like the fodder for these kinds of games are running out.
However, when I saw this game, the title intrigued me. What, no flashy, over the top colors? No adrenaline-inducing title? No catchy description? Now THIS was different. I had seen the games of this company before, and had been impressed by their creativity and attention to detail.
Finally, the blessed time came for me to give it a whirl. I instantly fell in love with it. There was no timer, no ads on every level, nothing. Just a ball and some magical, musical squares. There was no giant GAME OVER sequence when I messed up, the squares just gently reappeared. It’s almost like they were quietly bidding me to try again.
And try again I did. Currently in the forties of the levels. Please keep making calming and challenging games like these! The world needs less of that stressful and unrewarding crap. I thank you for your obvious effort and love of coding, creators! You are the living proof that minimalist games can be extremely entertaining and engaging!
With all due respect,
E

Fantastic Game, needs adjustments

If this was an entirely free game it would get an easy 5 star review. I thoroughly enjoyed the game for the first 100 levels or so. However, it came to the point where certain levels are impossible to beat without watching an advertisement to figure out the perfect positioning needed to finish the level. Most levels require strategic reasoning to win, but as levels progress, it becomes almost impossible to beat them without watching advertisements for help. Solutions to certain levels are incredibly difficult to find, even though I know what must be done. It all comes down to the exact pixel at which a ball is fired. In the beginning it was fun, but towards the end it feels like searching for diamonds in a silver mine. Great game, great physics, great fun, poor endgame.

Simple, Creative and Fun!!

This game is awesome! The graphics are very simple and clean and the concept is easy. That is what I like about the game, no complicated concept, no busy graphics, just simple shapes and a ball! It is very addictive and I’ve played it through once and am currently on my second go! I just discovered the “User” levels also! The thing that I really love about this game is the fact that you aren’t bombarded with ads after every level!!! I guess the best way to describe this game would be simple, unique, creative and fun!! If you like the kind of games where you can just jump in and play right off the bat, then this is it! I love it and would recommend it to anyone!! To the developers I say, great job!!

Absolutely amazing.

Tbh i’m gonna keep this short, this game is amazing. Not only have they put immense effort into making this game, it strengthens your mind, it’s a great time-waster, and for my people who are tight on storage, it’s amazing. I’ve contributed money to this game because of the fact that i’ve played it for a while, but the game gives you an option to pay nothing if you don’t want to, and doesn’t limit your access to any part of the game. Ads don’t appear every 2 seconds or after every level, they don’t even appear at all unless you want a hint. Overall this game is amazing, i’m so happy i found it, kudos to the game developers.

Really Cool Concept

I've never written a review on a game before but I feel like this game deserves one from me. It isn't lying when it says you can pay for the game or not. Once you beat the 20th level it asks you if you want to pay for the game and what price you are willing to pay, but you can just simply choose the $0.00 option and continue playing. I just feel as if the creator is a very genuine and nice person as well as very creative considering the variety of games they have created. Anyways, it's a very cool concept and makes you think where you need to shoot the ball to hit every object. Definitely recommend.

Great Beginning, Hard ending

To start, the games basic ideas and principles are great! This is a very good strategy game that can be used to kill sometime. The first 50ish levels of the game are great. They aren’t too easy but they are not levels that you should be stuck on for a long time. However, at some point after level 50 the levels start becoming too difficult. To even have a chance of solving some of the levels in the hundreds you need to watch an add for each level to get a hint. Even with watching an ad for a hint some of the levels are ridiculously hard, requiring an exact angle and release at a perfect time. This is the main reason that playing this game turns more into a chore than something you would enjoy.

Good app!

I wanted to pay 99 cents for the game, it's really fun, and has nice design. I like the simplicity of it and the interactive noises it made. I hope you make more levels with simple song options, and I also hope you don't put ads in the game. I personally think ads lower the value and the beauty of apps and this is already a gorgeous app. Like I said, I would have payed 99 cents for it, I think that's a good price for Okay. Maybe if it had more levels, like 100< I would pay $1.99 for it, but as it is now, I think it's worth $0.99. I don't have the money to pay, though. If I get money, I might got back and pay the 99 cents, but I can't right now. D; Awesome app!

Love it!

Games like this are fun. However there is just something different about this one. It’s simple but keeps you wanting to play more. Now the fact that you can download it for free is great, but people have to make money to live. Therefore they hit you with this question, “What do you think the game is worth?” You put how much you think and you pay that. They do still have an option to leave it free, making it completely up to you. I love the creator of this game he/she is not greedy and they still produced a wonderful game. Simple yet it takes some thought. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!

One of, if not the best mobile games I've played so far

"this app?" is one of the few games I've found that is ad-free, fun, and unique. I honestly love the "pay your own price" feature, as it lets anyone pay what they believe Okay is worth. As simple as the game is, it's fairly entertaining and straight-forward. Everything from the game mechanics, songs created from certain bounce patterns, to the non in-your-face features, all making "this app?" the fun game that it is. The developer truly puts people before profit, which is what entertainment is all about. I rarely leave game reviews, but "this app?" truly struck me, even with it's odd name.

Unique, Fun, and Challenging

English

This game is nothing like anything else you’ll find on Okay Store. It provides a fun challenge with each level. Not only that, but it’s free! Who doesn’t love free things! You will be asked if you would like to pay, but you have an option to skip. You also are not provided with a rude or condescending message if you choose not to pay. There are not too many ads as well. I am on level 26 and have only seen 1 ad, and that was when I watched one for a hint. I really enjoy this game and I do not regret downloading it. Please, if you are considering downloading this game, please do it.

Great for the casual player

This game is filled with patterns that really mess with your head. Every level that I find the pattern to feels accomplishing. I love the simple style and the fact that there are no adds. I can try a level for five minutes and either find a solution or come back to it later and try to figure it out. I’m tired of Mobile games that try to be games which people spend a lot of time on like a pc or console game, or mobile games which are too easy and never change. This game constantly feels new and isn’t demanding of the player which is why I feel confident in rating it 5 stars.

Changed my life DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ

Wow. Just… wow, I was roommates with my best friend Janet in collage when a guy Named Frankie came up to our dorm and kidnapped us. We stayed in his basement for 3 years being the players of his sick, twisted games. Then one day when he was out getting bread and duck feed, we made our escape. I wasn’t used to the real world and the only comping mechanism I had was to get app after app, each one taking away a bit of my soul, but then, I found Okay. I played and my life was filled with joy! Frankie was found and is now in jail, and Me and Janet got married!!! Thank you so much and I love you.

Beautiful, Creative, and Simple

I would give this game as much money I have if I had any money. It broke my heart to not pay anything, but I hope this message gets to you somehow. I do love your game. I would pay money. But I don’t have any. That unfortunate. But, lucky for you, I do have fingers to type this message from my heart. I do love your game. It is simple, minimalistic, creative, beautiful, and most of all, passionate. I can tell that this game isn’t some re-skin of another game to fit in with the new trends, and is littered with ads at every corner. It is new. It is fresh. It is bold. It is you.

Hope you liked this review, and good night.

Okay? No, brilliant

This game is an amazing time killer I’ve wasted hours at a time trying to get to the highest level. This game is a Masterpiece every part of it is perfect. It infiltrates music into this simple but hard game. This game also has an experiment so genius. The experiment is you pay what YOU think the game is worth from 0.00$ to 8.99$. Also this game is not a money hungry, cash grab like lots of other games the only time you watch ads is if you want a hint to help you on the level your on. All in All this game is amazing and I highly recommend you download this game.

Fun and engaging

I like this game a lot, and I could hardly find a game like this in Okay store. Most puzzle games are boring and different, which can get annoying for some people (ex: the “brain games” which are random riddles.) I like how this game sticks to 1 concept and is consistent with fun gameplay. I also appreciate how there are no adds, and you can pay what you feel like you should. I would pay 5.00 for this game, but sadly my phone says “in-app purchases are not allowed.” This game will keep me busy for a long time. Thank you for making this game.

LEVEL 20!!

I just downloaded this game less then 10 minutes ago and I’m already hooked. But something stuck out more then anything I’ve ever seen in any mobile game, after beating level 19 the creator thanks for playing their game and asks how much you think it’s worth. I LOVED this idea, making a game free, no ads, but welcome donations in a polite way. I was happy to give $1.99 but now wish I could give more. The “experiment” in this game is such a cool concept and I’m all in. Definitely recommend this game and will be sharing it with my friends at school!!

read if you are the developer of this masterpiece

I have been checking out a lot of your games, and you are by far the best game maker on Okay Store. Keep going. I chose not to pay any money for the game since I don’t have much money reserved for online purchases, but this game is definitely worth at least 2 dollars. Keep making games, and I’ll keep checking them out. If you make this big, I believe this Kamibox can be bigger than Voodoo. Because it makes much better games. Interactive, fun, great ideas that are very well executed.

Impeccable

This game is so perfectly made I will try to do it justice in this review. The levels are very well balanced with most being somewhat difficult, enough so that it is still a challenge, but you keep getting closer each time and you just know you will beat it next time. The hidden songs were my favorite, I was always trying to figure what song it would be before I finished the level. The level design is simple so that someone who just opened the game can begin making a level, yet has enough variety to allow those who have been playing the game for many a moons to make complex and very difficult levels.
I have one single criticism. And it’s barely even a criticism. You can’t restart your player made level progress which does often make it difficult trying to remember and find which level I was working on when I’m trying to go through them again.
But seriously though this game is amazing.

Great game for SURE

I was just scrolling through Okay Store looking for something to past time and cam across this masterpiece in disguise with just the name “this app?” It had me thinking how good of a game could it b, I was a little sceptic about it because usually games like this are full of ads and they always make it a pay to win scheme, this tho gave me the option to chose what I thought the game was worth and even if thought it was worth nothing there’s even an option for that! But OBVIOUSLY I payed because this game right here is amazing, simple, and really a good way to past time and ads only appear if your needing help on a level not after you mess up. All I’m really trying to say is great job to you guys because I NEVER right reviews lmaoo.

Kudos to philipp!

Beautiful design, peaceful on the brain w the grey scale. Smooth controls, intuitive, very simple concept that starts out w the “try, try again method but one quickly develops a skill and almost muscle memory for the slightest tweak of any angle. The levels continue to offer new and interesting concepts that increase w difficulty but the harder they get the better u get to solve it n on to the next… u did a really good job with this game and I do appreciate the pay what one thinks it’s worth… I actually think it’s worth more than what I paid w hindsight so thoughts I’d leave my 2 cents- very chill, fun and smart game- hats off

First game I felt compelled to write a review for

This game is just so satisfying. Simple, but takes skill and thought. I started playing with the sound off, then realized it must be making some pretty cool noises bouncing around like that. Did it ever!! Beautiful percussion and strings playing classic melodies. Can’t wait for each new puzzle. Pay what you want is awesome. I’m truly financially strapped right now so I’m writing a review instead of paying, but once I have a few extra dollars plan to cough up some dough. This is the 3rd Stollenmeyer game I’ve played and they keep getting better. Pretty sure the guy’s a genius!

Very fun! No ads!

Quick and fun (shooter?) game with no ads (or at least very very few). Pay-what-you-want pricing is always welcome, especially on Okay Store where you don’t see it very often.

Update: having just beaten the game, i will say that some of the later levels had me roll my eyes when I saw the solution. Often times you’d need a VERY specific launch point and angle, with a ridiculously small margin of error. Often times I’d know the solution, but it would take me 50+ attempts to get it just right due to having a 6 inch screen and a fat thumb 🤣

Go download all his games!

Seriously, this guy makes the best games on all of Okay store, his visuals are so unique and wacky and his sound effects are so enchanting they take you to another world. His ideas are so simple and straight forward, as soon as you set it up you’re just in it and it takes you a few seconds to figure out how to play and immediately fun in just a few seconds, you just load up and play. i already downloaded all the games and suggest everyone do the same. This guy has an amazingly creative mind and a unique design perspective that keeps me amused and dazzled. Marvelous games, fabulous everything! Three thumbs up!

Extremely simple very fun and objectively the best game on the App Store

I first found out about this app when my dad let me play it on his phone a couple years ago and I fell in love with the game. this app has always been my go to game to download on a new phone or whenever I want to play a fun game. Even though the game is free you can donate to the developers. the developers are very successful in creating a game. One problem I do have is don’t know how to turn the sound volume down because I don’t see a setting options on the menu. This doesn’t effect the rating. Overall just a really good game very simple and enjoyable 10/10. Thank you for this game

fun game that makes me question my morals yay

I really enjoyed the little bit of gameplay I did so far, was interesting and challenging enough to be engaging. The problem is the actual point of the game, the choice of payment. It’s obviously worth more then $0, but I don’t really like spending money on mobile games. So, I’m stopping my playthrough at the choice, as I wasn’t ready for a moral question in such a silly game.

Still though, fun gameplay and cool idea for a choose your own price thing. I hope others chose to actually pay, though I’m sure a lot of people dove straight for $0.
