CMiC is terrible. Nothing ever works and all that ever pops up is error messages.

15+ years of experience in the construction industry working for large general contractors using multiple software platforms (viewpoint, Procore, this app) and by far this app is the worst. They do a great job marketing and selling their product, but fail at providing a fully functional software platform. Customer support to fix the issues is horrible. They fix one issue, but create two more. Without a question I would recommend looking at another system or go old school using excel and word documents. Anything would be better then investing time, money, and resources on the this app Mobile Field App.

I’m getting super tired of having to delete CMiC and reinstall once a day as a solution to all the glitches and errors in CMiC . I just want to do my job. I don’t want to do my job 3 times in a row like I have to most days when re-entering information into daily journals. This is infuriating and creates so much wasted time.

Preface-
this app is the only true construction ERP that integrates PM, job cost controls, GL, Payroll, AP, AR etc. The efficiency gained from this solution has enabled our company to grow and scale without adding significant overhead. Having our data integrated and centralized gives us a high level of visibility in to project performance and risk. Much better than a collection of disparate systems and siloed data.
Now to CMiC -
CMiC gives project team members the ability to do the work they once did in the trailer, in the field. This benefit can’t be overstated! Other commenters reference CMiC crashing or being unstable. Although we have had similar issues in the past, they are very seldom now. And their support is great! I have seen them all- viewpoint, procore, bim360 field. this app mobile field stacks up well against them all and the features coming in R12 will make them even better.

this app has done a wonderful job of extending their robust ERP into a mobile app. Our field has many uses for this product, from daily journals to communication management. This product is an excellent compliment to their web client.
this app as a company has been more than willing to work with customers to improve and fix any issues that come into the forefront.

The this app Mobile App has been a great addition to our company. The ease of getting to information anytime our teams need it has been a great improvement on efficiency. No more walking back and forth to the trailer and job site with questions. We can update our Daily Journals throughout the day and have a better complete record of what occurred.

App works well for viewing my drawings in the field. It’s nice not to have to go back to the trailer as often to review things like RFIs.
