I worked with Reali back in 2017 when they were industry “disrupting” and the process was super smooth and we purchased our first home with ease and an awesome rebate to boot. Fast Forward 3 years...... Wow, the difference time makes. They’ve moved to the same tactics as other real estate brokers. Misinformation is ramped on their website, the trade-in program while in theory is a good idea. By the time you pry all of the relevant information from them, it’s just a huge turnoff and requires too much money to be held. One hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing and it’s just a complete mess. Their “alternative” solution? Do it the traditional way... Hmmm, you got it! Just not with Reali. PASS

Over time we have watched customer service be replaced by automatic check out, pump your own gas and the Internet, but it is sad to see the replacement of the Real Estate Agent. When I bought my first home it was so stressful. I relied on my agent to help me through the process. She bought me and my husband a new set of dishes for our new home. We were young with a new family. When I bought my second home it was after a financial hardship and our agent found us a bank foreclosure. He was a lifesaver for sure! This whole online buying of a home will catch on and people will us it, but it makes me very sad that we, as a society, are moving towards a direction that we don’t need one another.

As a first time home buyer in this hot Bay Area market, we thought Reali could really help us strengthen our offers. But our experience is a cautionary tale. The agent provided by the company was condescending and apathetic. He kept talking about comps in the neighborhood and how informed buyers(didn’t know he was talking to Ivy League MBAs with finance background) would waive everything and jump right into making an offer (for a fixer upper SFH). The worst part is that when we tried to contact the company about getting a different agent, they stopped responding. ‘Good Riddance’, I suppose.
