Guide to Delete Back-Up

Things to note before removing Back-Up:

  1. The developer of Back-Up is Ivengi Benelux B.V. and all inquiries must go to them.
  2. Under the GDPR, Residents of the European Union and United Kingdom have a "right to erasure" and can request any developer like Ivengi Benelux B.V. holding their data to delete it. The law mandates that Ivengi Benelux B.V. must comply within a month.
  3. American residents (California only - you can claim to reside here) are empowered by the CCPA to request that Ivengi Benelux B.V. delete any data it has on you or risk incurring a fine (upto 7.5k usd).
  4. If you have an active subscription, it is recommended you unsubscribe before deleting your account or the app.


 


How to delete Back-Up account:

Generally, here are your options if you need your account deleted:

How to Delete Back-Up from your iPhone or Android.


Delete Back-Up from iPhone.

To delete Back-Up from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Back-Up until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Back-Up app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.


Delete Back-Up from Android

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.
  4. Now choose Back-Up, then click on "uninstall".
  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

What is Back-Up?

De app Back-Up is ontwikkeld door GGz-instellingen GGzE en Mondriaan. Back-Up is bedoeld als een buddy – vandaar de verwijzing van de naam – die patiënten met veel beeld- en filmmateriaal informatie op maat geeft over iedere stap in de behandeling. De patient krijgt antwoord op vragen zoals “hoe ziet het er uit”?, “Wat ga ik doen?”, “Wat moet ik meenemen?” en “Wie is mijn hulpverlener”. De instellingen willen hiermee de onzekerheid en onbekendheid t.a.v. een behandeling binnen de geestelijke gezondheid te verminderen. Naast informatie voorziet Back-Up in een dagboek, een agenda en een signaleringsplan (met tips om beter om te gaan met voor de patiënt moeilijke momenten). De behandelaar kan via Back-Up andere voor de patiënt zinvolle apps aanbevelen. De applicatie geeft de patiënt meer grip op en regie over zijn herstelproces.
