This game is easily addicting and always makes you want to play more after each level. But something else that happens after each level is that you get video ads and these can be anywhere from 15-20 seconds long with very few times being able to skip. Please fix the ad problem and just keep making good games

I spend hours trying to beat my high score! An addicting game is a great game!

There are WAYYY to many ADS. Please just make the adds shorter or less often, you can only get an average of 10 plays before an ad pops up! 😩

If you are looking for a good arcade game - this is it! It has all the necessary qualities of the perfect game: trendy graphics, nice background sound, new concepts, and addictiveness to keep you coming back for more. I have been searching for an amazing quick game that doesn't take over your life for the longest time. Ive been through Candy Crush and all the other big name games, but nothing compares to Boom Dots. My fav feature is that you have an unlimited number of lives (if your like me at all, you will need them!). It is hard enough that it doesn't bore you, yet not to frustrating that your throwing your phone at a wall in anger (cough cough flappy bird). Another plus is the goals that you work for to achieve new designs. They can be challenging, but they are always rewarding. My only drawback to this almost flawless game is the ads. No one likes them, lets be honest. So it would be more appealing if you could get rid of them or lessen the amount of them without having to pay for it. But overall, this game is the best out there. Just get it, cause trust me, you will become addicted!

I liked the game a little bit but it was way to hard for anyone to play. My friend even said it was torture!!(and I agree) I got the game and five minutes later I deleted it. So overall rating is: ITS HORRIBLE DONT GET IT

Haven't had this game for over an hour and I'm already hooked. As you may infer from this review so far, this game is very addictive. There's something so exhilerating about getting a perfect shot, not to mention racking up the point-streak with three perfect shots in a row!

Not only is this game easy to pick up and hard to put down, it also has several goals to work towards. 200 'missions' make up this game, each with their unique objective to work towards alongside trying to best your high score. Even better, every 10 levels you beat you're granted a new theme for the pieces. This means that there are 20 different themes to unlock for the game, keeping it fresh.

The game also automatically keeps track of your daily, weekly, and overall point stats, which is always ideal in a high score game. You can watch your all-time average score slowly or rapidly increase or decrease with every game that you play.

In conclusion, this game is simple, addicting, and sharp. It's also intense, heart-pounding, and heavily timing based. It's a lot of fun, and it's free! There are ads (what great free game doesn't) that can be removed for 99 cents. I've already done so; that way I can completely enjoy this game to it's full extent.

This is the first game among hundreds I've played that I purchased the option for ad-free playing. It's so addicting that I found it worth the $0.99 to eliminate the ads - which admittedly can be an annoyance and several times caused the game to crash on me. But that should not deter you from downloading the free version. It's the perfect balance of challenge, simplicity and pleasing aesthetics. The "challenges" are optional & free to play, and reward the player with different shaped dots to "boom." Play for a few seconds or for an hour - there is no annoying clock to watch or beat. Simply put, it's the perfect time-waster for anyone who enjoys a one handed tap-and-shoot challenge to test your reflexes & coordination. And it's just plain fun. Thumbs up all around!

Simple concept but perfectly executed!!

Tip: after giving each of the themes a fair chance, I would seriously recommend sticking to "SKULLCRUSHER" (blade and skull theme). Why? - the protruding jaw / mouth section of the skull makes for the best "perfect hit" center point reference... even if subconsciously if not visually. Plus, the spinning blades are not distracting but their spinning motion helps you keep up with their location in your peripheral vision. Anyone else?

I wouldn't have played this game more than once or twice but I had to be my friends score. That was the only satisfaction that I drew from this game it's the same thing over and over very little to no variation. This may have passed as a game in the Stone Age of video games but now I would just like to see a little bit more effort. Suggestion to developer you should add a harder mode for those who want to challenge themselves. Next time you should be careful about whether or not you want to ask somebody to rate your game also for such a basic game you shouldn't have to pay to get rid of the ads.

Everyone says apps are addicting, but this one truly is. The graphics and customizable options are great. The missions are just hard enough to be a challenge. (But easy enough to complete and move farther.) I've only had it a couple days, and I've already played it an unhealthy amount of times. I would recommend this to anyone who loves mission-based arcade games.

This is a fun game but the ads are excessive. I understand ads are needed to make revenue to support the company, but after every time I play a game is a bit much, especially considering there are ads at the top of the game throughout the whole thing and some games don't last any longer than a second, literally. It's a really fun game and I love the concept though, and I do recommend you download it, but the ads can be frustrating, especially the video ads that pop out of nowhere.

The simplicity of the tap mechanic means that any age group will be able to pick up Boom Dots and play, but the satisfying feedback and layered-difficulty achievement system make it hard to put down. Worth paying a dollar to remove the ads.

My only gripe is the lagging that seems to persistently happen every time the player ball hits the top spikes. Maybe the devs are trying to create to many particle effects at once and it's breaking game? Not much more than a hiccup, but it's pretty noticeable.

I absolutely love this game! It's so refreshing to find one I can play for hours on end after spending only a dollar. Totally worth buying the full version.
One thing though, I wish it wouldn't calculate people's averages until they've played a certain number of games. You can tell that some people have been reinstalling BoomDots to get a high score as an average

Are always the best kinds of games, in my book. That's not to say this game is easy. It's hard, because you really need to pay attention to what you're doing. But the premise itself is simple, and therefore easy for anyone to pick up right away. Because of that it makes it infinitely more addicting. Download this now!

I actually love the game and hate to only give it 3/5 stars. The biggest problem I have is the lack of creativity for the missions. The hardest missions aren't anymore challenging, but are mainly more tedious and time consuming. Playing 40 games as a "mission" is pretty unsatisfying. I expected more consecutive "perfect hit", and avg score challenges when I started playing, but unfortunately the creativity in the challenges hasn't increased. Still a fun game that I will play to the end mission.

The game is great and fun. I could spend hours playing this game but I just don't because of the ads. I know you can pay to remove them but I don't think that it is worth the money. There are constant ads and even if you play off of cellular or wifi, the ads still show up. The game is great and wonderfully designed but the excessive amount of ads really ruin the whole thing.

Just get this game! Its simple and thats what makes it so addicting. There are no in-app purchases. The developers keep coming out with new content and are really working on the game. All types of skins you unlock for completing challenges. And it really tests ur reflexes and hand eye coordination! So again, just get it. You wont be sorry! TO DEVELOPERS: PLEASE CHANGE THE DEATH ANIMATION. IT SLOWS DOWN THE GAME AND AN OPTION TO RESET YOUR STATS WOULD BE GREAT. AWESOME GAME, KEEP IT UP!!!

This is a great game that gets you very addicted. The game just keeps you playing forever. Then their is the crappy thing as, as you are trying to have fun and get a higher score so many ads come up, I have played lots of games with ads, witch is usual but this game has to many to keep me wanting to play. Because of this game having so many pop up ads it's hard for me to be satisfied.

This game is as addicting as it is painfully simple. Somehow, however, it is strangely challenging. The missions are easily achieved and for stats junkies like myself the reminders of average daily and overall scores are great motivators to do better each game. Well worth the $0.99 to remove the ads. That would be the only negative (besides my productivity) to BoomDots.

If you love games that are all about perfect timing, then this is the game for you. It's simple and easy, and it's honestly so fun. As simple as it is, you'd think that it could get boring really quickly, but they even have little built in "missions" that you can do to keep you coming back for more :)
