O.M.G. I LOVE Heal !!!!

I just had my first Heal appointment in the comfort of my own home and I felt compelled to immediately write a review because everyone should know how incredibly amazing CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere/service is. Do not hesitate to use this service or worry about the one review that didn't like it because I'm telling you this is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm not one to go to the doctor unless I'm really sick, in which case I usually go to urgent care, but who wants to go to urgent care? The doctor arrived with an assistant, examined me thoroughly, and was so kind and knowledgeable. Overall it was just an incredible experience. I can only imagine how fantastic this would be for people with children. They take insurance, and if you don't have insurance even more reason to choose them, because it's very affordable. I'm still in awe at how amazing this experience was. Thank you for offering such a compassionate service. The Dr. told me their goal is to take the cost out of overhead and be able to spend more time with patients. Wow. We are never more vulnerable than when we aren't feeling well and to be treated with such kindness and care in my own home was a dream. Heal, you really get me and I will be a loyal patient from this day forward.

The Best There Is

We have been happy Heal patients since my oldest son was born in 2016. Their providers have seen our family through countless colds, flu viruses, ear infections, bronchitis, strep throat and even RSV. We are always so impressed with how thorough they are with their examination - I’ve never felt rushed as either a parent or patient - overall professionalism, punctuality, courtesy and friendliness. Never again will I wait at urgent care when Heal provides such fantastic service. In fact, Heal’s pediatric staff took the initiative to coordinate an ENT referral after seeing my eldest for recurrent ear infections. Thanks to their efforts, he was finally able to get the treatment he needed, putting an end to chronic ear pain and reversing observed delays in speech development. Plus, now that they’ve partnered with my insurance carrier, it’s cheaper to get a house call from Heal than to haul my kids to the pediatrician or drag my own sick self to my primary care provider. In terms of efficient and convenient healthcare, Heal is simply the best available.

COVID-19 Safety Protocol

If you are hoping to use CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere as a safe alternative to going to doctor’s offices during the pandemic MAKE SURE you stick to virtual doctor’s appointment only because adherence to COVID-19 protocol is not guaranteed during house calls.

I started using the Heal app to manage my medication during the COVID-19 pandemic. My doctor insisted that a house call ($159 by the way) was necessary and I understand that doctors need to maintain a level of professional integrity so I complied under the condition that he be masked and we stay 6 feet apart at all times. The driver (who I assume is also a Heal nurse because she was looking at my medical information) asked me why I was standing so far away and I said, “Because of the global pandemic.” She laughed and rolled her eyes. She went back in the car and the doctor and I continued our conversation. He had pulled his mask down, exposing his nose and mouth to continue this conversation. Then the driver gets out of the car, interrupting my conversation with the doctor telling me I HAD to come closer due to confidentiality. I said that I waive that right in order to stay safe. Patients should not be made to feel that they are being ridiculous for adhering to the safety protocols posted on Heal’s own website.

Great Service!

I love this service. I couldn’t get to an urgent care center, so I made an appointment here. It was covered by my insurance, so I just had to pay my regular copay. Within 5 minutes, I got a phone call saying that my symptoms might be too severe for their capabilities, but there are still things their doctor could do for me. Also, they had an earlier availability so they actually moved my appointment earlier.

And the doctor who came was great! He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful, answered all my questions, explained all of his logic and reasoning for what he wanted to do, and then was able to submit lab orders for me so I can go to a lab at my convenience to get the tests he wanted. And he even said they can normally take the samples they needed and deliver them to a lab for me, but the labs were closed today.

This service is great, I am very happy with my experience, and highly recommend it.

Constant cancellations and rescheduling!!

I really thought this was going to be a game changer for me and tried to give it a shot. Wow the convenience of home visits, what a great idea during this pandemic.. well that would have been great except that three times in a row they cancelled the visit on me. First it was due to a mistake in their system with regards to knowing when labs can be done or not. Fine I understand we reschedule for the following week. Then a the day of the appointment cancelled and rescheduled again because the physician wasn’t available.. ok... fine... rescheduled and reiterated to the scheduler that please ensure this doesn’t keep happening, even though these are home appointments I am still scheduling time off from work to do this and it’s still an inconvenience for me to keep changing this around. So anyway third rescheduled appointment time comes around and once again on the day of the appointment I get a call that they need to cancel and reschedule. I mean give me a break. Either this company is having difficulty in scaling their operations or I am just the unlucky one but having an appointment reschedule 3 times is the limit for me.

Great Experience!

I used the heal app today and had a great experience! Dr. Garcia was great and diagnosed me with strep throat and sent a prescription to my local pharmacist. But what happened after is why I am happy to give a 5 star review. I have had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin in the past and this is a common prescription for strep, because of this, Dr. Garcia prescribed an alternative. When I went to pic up the prescription it was very expensive without insurance. The pharmacist had a few suggestions and alternatives that could help with the costs. I called the number on the heal app and they answered quickly and were very helpful. They contacted Dr. Garcia again and he contacted the pharmacist. They worked together to find a solution and my prescription cost went from $344 to $19!!! All around a great experience and I felt very taken care of. Which is exactly what you want when you’re miserably sick with strep throat.

In love with this app

Let me tell you something: we were with Kaiser for a lot of years and we got used to seeing the Doctor for only 5 minutes. They would always want to leave the room and never gave us the time to ask questions. Then we switched to PPO thinking things would get better...but they didn’t! Same all same all...usual 5 minutes and then out of the room! Well, just Heal showed how much they care about their patients. The doctors are all knowledgeable and spend time with you, ask you questions, check for every little thing. They come to you, in then comfort of your house (awesome especially for when I have sick kids! Hated having to take them out of the house when they had a fever and/or cough) and have all the tools needed to do their jobs. I’ve been recommending CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere to all my friends, this is how much I like it.

Professional, Convenient and Amazing service!!

I found CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere online looking for emergency care facilities. I just started a new job and was trying to wait initial my insurance kicked in, I called the urgent care facilities and they wanted from two hundred to lord knows how much to see me. I signed up with Heal (Super easy and linked to my Apple Pay automatically) paid the $99 dollars, schedule the appointment and they were here within 35 min! The doctor and nurse were very polite, professional and thorough in the exam. The doctor electronically submitted the prescription and it was filled within 20 min. All in all from sign up to prescription being filled it took a little over an hour, unreal! I have already referred Heal to several friends and family members. Oh, and let’s note my appointment was on a Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m!

Amazing service!

I felt a little silly using CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere at first but found myself feeling ill one morning and just couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed to go to an urgent care. Using CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere turned out to be the best decision I’ve made in a long time! Same day appointment with the same level of health care service if not BETTER than I would have received at a doctors office! I’m still shocked that for the low price of my copay I had a doctor and an RN in my home giving me the same treatment I would have gotten in a regular doctors office! While the doctor was here I asked if they were able to provide primary care as an option through CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere as well and turns out they do it all! I have found my new go-to! No more struggling to get an appointment or waiting in crowded waiting rooms!

Good doctors but terrible customer service

I scheduled my kids’ well child appointments over a week ago. Yesterday, their system automatically canceled them due to a software glitch. I had to use their chat to get that fixed. Today, I got a text saying to call them, but 12 minutes and 30 seconds into the call (first ~2 minutes were Heal ads, followed by 10 minutes on hold with no estimated wait time or queue position), their phone system told me to just leave a message and they’ll get back to me. I went to the chat again, and I was told that my kids’ appointments now need to be canceled because they don’t have a medical assistant available. Why couldn’t they just say that in the text??? And their explanation for all the frustrations is that they just started offering flu shots, so that just shows a lack of planning on their part. I hope another housecall service becomes available in my area soon.

Reliable, straightforward...and full of heart

I love this service because when you’re not feeling well...a house call that works with your schedule is too darn efficient. I’ve used Heal when I can’t get to my general doctor...and they’re spot on. It’s perfect for families because if you’re under the weather and your kid’s the same, having someone take the time to come and see you both - puts you on the mend a lot faster without exposing you to the other funky things/germs waiting in those doctor’s waiting rooms. And each doctor listens....really listens....and feels for you. You’re not a number, waiting to be seen....you’re seen as a person. I’d love to see more people use this service with doctors that are seasoned, experienced and have true respect for “you”. Thank you HEAL!

Very impressed!

I was hesitant to rate CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere & their medical service because selfishly I don’t want them to become less available because of all the rave reviews. But that train’s already out of the station.

I must say I can forgive them for being late if they gave as much time & attention to the patients before me. My doctor was so thorough, knowledgable & had a great bedside manner.

I periodically get benign positional vertigo (“ear rocks” which cause the world to feel like it’s spinning) which I have been able to manage myself in the past. This time it was complicated by ear & sinus congestion which I wasn’t even aware I had & by visting my chirpractor thinking my symptoms had cleared. Explosive attack which led to nausea, violent vomiting, diarrhea & intense anxiety.

I’m 62 and she wanted to rule out my brain or heart as the cause. Very thorough. Definitely my inner ears. Prescribed an anti-nausea med & over the counter mucinex dm to drain the ear congestion and generic fluconaise for the sinus congestion. She typed & sent the prescription to my pharmacy just in time for my son to run and pick it up instantly as he arrived. (Hint-Pharmacies aren’t usually so busy at 9:50pm.)

I will definitely use them again.

Great service model terrible customer service

I want to give five stars because the ability to have a doctor come to my home has been invaluable due to the difficulty of getting appointments quickly at my usual doctors office and not having to worry about finding childcare to go. The doctors I’ve seen have all been incredible and it’s been so easy to arrange flu shots for the whole family. BUT the customer service is just AWFUL. I’ve waited weeks for referrals, twice been referred to specialists that don’t actually do the procedure they referred me get, and have had to repeatedly contact the service over weeks before getting my results. I would seriously consider using this as my primary doctor but the problems with customer service makes everything so difficult and stressful I think I’ll just stick to mildly urgent situations or simple things like flu shots.

Outstanding experience! We had TWO MDs in less than an hour!

I never give reviews. I felt compelled by the outstanding experience and level of care given to my daughter who felt sick Saturday evening. In less than an hour from downloading CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere we had two physicians at our home. My daughter had strep throat and her prescription was sent electronically to the pharmacy. Rather than be stuck in urgent care for hours she was able to get a superior experience at home and with a test to confirm she had strep. I’m speechless this is a great service! The doctors were professional and friendly. Thank you for making her feel better and for quickly diagnosing her. I will recommend and use this again!

Revolutionary!

For my whole life, seeing a doctor has meant days of scheduling delays that your symptoms are gone by the time you actually see the doc or you have to go to urgent care/ER to get immediate care. No more! When my toddler son had suspicious rash on his skin, a heal doctor showed up at our house and brought the whole clinic (test equipment, even a baby scale!) with her. She checked out our baby, was very kind and attentive to our description the whole time, and gave clear advice about next steps. And they take our insurance so it cost no more than a visit to a clinic, except much more conveniently! Thank you Heal for an amazing product! And thank you Heal VCs for letting this price model work! Hope it continues to work!

Best medical experience ever

CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere is a pleasure to use, including option to schedule a time window - so important for a working professional! Doctor and MA arrived within first 10 minutes of the appointment window - one enhancement request I have is that it would have been good to have notice about more specific arrival time as the window approached but it was workable as is. Doctor diagnosed root cause very quickly and was very knowledgeable; she provided non-drug options to try for a few days to see if they would work before filling a prescription. I really appreciated that.

Love this service. My friend in Thousand Oaks loves this idea - I hope Heal is operating there for the next time she needs similar care.

Such an incredible service!

There is not much better than having a sick kid, and being able to keep them in their pajamas in our living room while a doctor comes to your doorstep. No more waiting for hours in a room full of other sick people, with my sick small children. It’s the Best. Thing. Ever. I’ll never go back to urgent care again!
I heard about Heal because it was listed in the benefits covered by my insurance. I’ve had three sick visits and I’ve been very happy with it. CenterwellPrimaryCareAnywhere is fast, convenient and easy to use.
The doctor that has seen me and my family, Dr Balla, is kind, thorough, and really helpful. I’m a huge fan!

Solution to white coat syndrome!

Are you like me and hate going to the doctor In the cold sterile environment of an office? Do you hate having to take your child out when they are already sick? Then HEAL is for you! I have had several visits with the doctors from HEAL and each one has been thorough, informative, comfortable and convenient. The great thing is not only are you getting board certified medical treatment but you will also have access to great technology. My doctor left me with a blood pressure machine that sends my blood pressure readings directly to the HEAL staff. This means no constant back and forth to the doctor to monitor my blood pressure. It’s like having great care at your fingertips with little to no effort. Try it, I promise you’ll love the convenience and the care.

Not Happy with Heal

I’m giving 2 stars because the person that finally showed up a day late was competent. This is the second time I’ve had an appt for my 91 yr old father that no one showed up at the date/time scheduled. AND no one called to let us know that the appt was canceled. On top of that I had gotten 3 emails and 2 phone calls to confirm the appt.
My 91 year old - housebound - father was in pain and anxious about the appt which was set for 8am-10am and then changed from 6-8pm. It was only after I called the Heal call ctr that they told me, after being on hold for 20 minutes, that they had canceled the appt and were rescheduling it.
I think you need to take a deep look at your procedures as you have left a really negative impression on your reliability

Great option for healthcare

I felt too sick to drive to urgent care so I thought I would give Heal a shot. At 1pm I requested an appointment in the 2-4pm window. Around 2pm I got a text telling me the name of my doc and a more specific time range for when to expect him. He showed up with a medical assistant and it was just like a normal doctor’s appointment but at my dining room table. I would definitely use this service again. With my insurance it ended up costing $99 which felt very fair. I think I’ll use this instead of urgent care for my toddler because I worry about him picking up new germs when we go to urgent care.
