I purchased the full version with the 6000 words for German, French, Japanese, and Spanish. The breadth of the word content is great. Most of the module layouts are very good. However, the WRITE WORD module is slow, frustrating, and unnatural. Firstly, I have an iPad Pro with attached keyboard, yet I am not able to use the keyboard and the one screen letter tiles make no sense. Please implement a proper keyboard and not this scramble layout. The partially spelled words is frustrating and I find myself leaving 6000Words in frustration as I know the spelling of the word, but the fact that the word is partially spelled and the scramble letter tile interface means tedious mistakes that have nothing to do with learning a language. I am not using 6000Words for a game show experience. If I could I would turn off the writing modules altogether.

Tons of fun, and I absolutely love the variety of exercises for each word set. No matter what your preferred individual learning style, you're sure to find it contained herein. Not only that, but you'll almost definitely develop stronger skills in other learning styles as well. Fantastic!

The content is great but there is no good review system in place for learning words in the long run. I would appreciate having such a system implemented.

Looks like a decent app, but without plurals it’s just incomplete. German isn’t like English where you just add an ‘s’ to everything. Certainly can’t justify spending $25 for words with no plural.

6000Words is perfect for beginners of the German language. I have German roots and I have always wanted to learn how to speak it too. I know zero German and I find this makes works easy to remember. this other thing I love about it, it's free. I give 6000Words. I recommend 6000Words for linguistics to associates.

This German vocab app offers a decent way to learn your ders, dies, dases, and of course the associated noun. Regular non-nouns are also covered. The problem is they are not tracked. The review system is severely lacking and doesn't review words you have mastered 1 week ago or 10 weeks ago. The review is only all words, incorrect, correct, or combinations. If the developers incorporate more modern review technology (such as based on days, a structured repeated pattern review, etc.) then I could rate 6000Words higher.

Great App with excellent word categories. Like the many ways it test what you have learned. Words are very clearly spoken with illustrations to match. Two thumbs up to the developers of this wonderful app.
