Love Teams and the idea of it linking with the MaxPreps page but I hate how my athletes are not allowed to start a chat. If I manually go in and add them as an admin to give chat permission there isn’t an athlete label for them. This is how our team COMMUNICATES but they aren’t allowed to chat unless I start the conversation first?? It’s frustrating because what’s the big deal to give them chat permission? Why would there not be an option for me to give them that opportunity. Sometimes they would rather ask a friend a question rather than asking me first. Also, I have a parent to added her daughter as her athlete and it links to a girl who’s not even on our roster! We have no idea where it came from but when you click on the name her daughter information pops up. It makes no sense. We have deleted Teams , deleted her profile, restarted everything several times and used new emails and nothing works!!

The old version was working well particularly with texting team members. At first the chat feature in the new version would not allow me to set a group. Now I can but there is no obvious way to add athletes to the chat. Further, all the player information I had was deleted in the update. A roll out of this update should have warned users of the changes and how to achieve the same features. Requests for help submitted on the website, calls to customer service or emails do not elicit any meaningful help. Very poor service.

The last update that you guys had on Teams must have caused more bugs and issues on the back end. Every time I go into Teams to try and do anything especially chat feature it kicks me out of Teams . If I click on it and let it go through that 3-4 times it will finally open up like normal. Please fix as this is a huge inconvenience

Love the interface but the biggest issue is the push notifications don’t work... other than that this is a great app, a little slow but right idea to have a one stop shop for my program.

I like being able to stay in communication with the team and parents!

Teams is almost ok. Everything kind of works, but there are a lot of strange issues like the chat showing new messages, but only old stuff is there. Players get logged off and when they try to log back in it says a player already exists and they can’t sign in, no autocorrect, notifications often come at random times - even after seeing the message in the actual chat. It kind of works.

The main point of these apps for parents is being able to sync practice and game schedules with you family calendar to assess conflicts. This sync feature does not work with iPhone X.

In Teams , all team calendars are selected to sync Teams even asked if I would like to sync to my iOS calendar I say yes. When I go to my iPhone calendar there’s nothing.

Sync needs work for Teams to be most useful.

I love both Teams and the MaxPreps app but for some reason when you are in rankings for your team and you want to expand the list to goes to a blank screen... I need to see the whole listing at one time and it only shows strength of schedule in the expanded list... please fix!!

I would give this 5 stars if the calendar view could change to a grid calendar instead of a list.

Also my parents have complained that it’s named varsity in the team name and that it’s preseason and no one has yet made varsity. I add all potential players to Teams for communication in the summer.

What good is a youth sports app if I have to manually enter games into my calendar?Maybe I’m doing something wrong but as an early adopter of online calendar and youth sport calendar syncing- I can’t figure it out and I’ve set up likely fifty other apps/platforms to sync. To make matters worse, I’ve been contacting customer service since December 3 and they are almost non- responsive and the issue is not resolved.

Just loaded the this app app; and now the update. Every time I go to “Copy Roster from Last Year”, it thinks for a few seconds and crashes. It takes me back to the home screen, totally out of Teams .
Like I said, it’s new so I’m sure there will be bugs to work out. Any suggestions MaxPreps people?

Why is the calendar sync not working? This is one of the simplest things to do from an iOS perspective. Calendar sync is on, everything is setup right, but my iOS calendar shows nothing. From a comparison perspective, TeamSnap does not have similar issues. Please address.

Lately when I have accessed Teams it appears to be working properly and no crashes, thank you.

It’s now been Over 1 Year now - closer to 2 years.

Our School has NEVER been added to your Database. Last year you finally put us in - but only JV

We are the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired in Jacksonville Illinois. We now compete Varsity & JV against not only other State Schools for the Blind but against Public & Private Schools from around the area.

I’ve called several times, sent emails, messages, ... all for nothing as we’re not included as of yet.

If someone can figure out how to include us we’d appreciate it.
