Well to start with this game as in the title, has way too many ads, the moment you die its a 30 second long video on how you should just play other games instead of that one. The game has artificial difficulty. And how do you expect me to pass to the next level when one of the very first few level has impossible spins than only a Shaolin Munk on super ecstasy could even be considered a challenger to this absolute abomination of a "games" need for such a master of dexterity. I have seen less ads in the SUPERBOWL than this mutant! The concept is decent and it has potential but right now id have an easier time trying to find Jehovah's mom than trying to survive the games intense epileptic seizures and hiccups. And another thing, DotWave had so much hype from all of the vines about it being the "hottest app ever". What are you trying to put more ads for game of war or candy crush soda saga too? How much did you pay to get them to do that, Jesus. Fix your game, would rate 0 stars if I could. I had more fun writing this essay than playing your "game". Screw your mom, dad, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, nephew, cousin, grandma, grandpa, dog, kid, and whatever hell else. People have been rating this since April and you still haven't fixed your s***, if you're looking for fun go somewhere else, spare you the trouble.

I would have given it 5 stars because it is a good game. But there is WAY TOOOOOOOOOO MANY ADS. I'm new to this game so I would like to at least play it. I m able to play 2 rounds and then ( guess what?!?) AN AD! For me being new to this game i mess up a lot so I may get 1:00 and then an ad comes up. Not only it's an ad but it's the same one over and over again so i'm tired of seeing it. IN THE GAME: in the game there is a game that you can play called rotation. in rotation the "board" spins around. in random it spins also just not so much. I get very confused when this happens and mess up. when i mess up then the game ends and I get to watch another stupid ad. I think that you should fix this out of kindness to me and others. if it is no fixed I WILL be deleting this game. if it is fixed i will keep the game and send another review and 5 stars ( if you deserve it) I will give you 2 months to fix this.

p.s. I'm not asking you to stop ads completely just maybe have an ad after 10 games.

I agree. Too many ads. But...if you just turn your wifi off to play? AMAZING GAME EXPERIENCE!!! Just fantastic!!! And the soundtrack!!! Mien Gott!! That alone is worth the download. So while I'm on the topic of the music, it's nice to see the names of the songs....? But how come I can't listen to them within DotWave ? Like, by selecting the title of one? That's what I would like. I haven't bought "Spiky Line" or "Inverse Colors" yet. Because I'd like a description of what exactly they do. But yes I disagree on it being to hard. It's fair to say I've mastered the game, having gotten 30 seconds in Rotation OMG mode. Overall this game has fresh and exciting graphics, art, and music. Especially with earbuds. Just turn your wifi off!! 👌

Okay this game is really fun and crazy. So far I've raged a lot but not because of the game, it's because there's WAAAAY TO MANY FRICKEN ADDS!!!!!! Literally after 2-3 deaths there's a video that you have to watch for 5 seconds and I know that does not sound so bad but it's just annoying that it pops up every time. And it's the same add over and over again. So I buy the remove adds and it's $2 and I put in the password and it says purchase confirmed. Then I keep playing and what do you know A POP UP ADD!!!! So you make me pay $2 to get rid of videos but not to get rid of the things that come out of nowhere and then you click it without even knowing and it takes you to another page, and then it takes even longer to get back to DotWave then click the X to get back to the game. GET RID OF ADDS!!!!!! If this does not get rid of adds then I want my money back.

This one of the worst apps I've used in a while. There are so many things wrong here. I'll start with the most obvious: random rotations. It's a good idea if implemented well. When it shifts through different formats, there is way to much external motion during the transformation that you cannot even tell what's going on. 85% of my losses happened when the stupid camera was moving too much to get to another position. This is game breaking we are talking about. It's fine that there's no warning, but don't punish the player by the transformation. It's asinine. The rest of my critiques are the menu format. It's ugly and not very informative. I would expect a menu system that reflects the game, not an add on from a clunky menu simulator. Please fix this game if you want people to actually buy it. Other wise, it's a waste of time and effort.

Okay, I am going to start by saying this game has an excellent concept, and has the potential to make it big on the market. You could really make a few million on this game if these aspects were fixed:

1. Too many ads.
I understand that you need ads to a certain degree in order to support the development, upkeep, and everything else that requires funding. But, the excessive amount of ads in this game was literally enough to throw me into rage. Even at the beginning of a game while I am beginning a round it will pop up with an ad that I have to dismiss while I hear the familiar game voice that tells me I have been obliterated.

2. This game seems like it was made for the Chosen One in The Matrix Movie.
This game moves excessively and is too erratic and sudden for any player to be able to play unless they are hyped up on drugs that enhance your focus by tenfold and slow down everything.

3. Terrible menu.

This menu doesn't really compliment the game. Not only that, the options are not clickable for me, they are like a static image. I have even tried to buy away the ads, but the Remove Ads button contained in the extremely familiar death screen is also non functional. Maybe that could explain the excessive ads...

I saw a couple YouTubers play this game and I thought that it was a clone of the wave game mode in Geometry Dash. I gave it a shot anyway, and it was absolutely worth it!! The gimmicks make it much better, and I love the voice that talks with every menu you enter. The soundtrack is beautiful, also. I've heard that the ads are obnoxious and ruin the game, and I agree...except they're extremely easy to avoid, which completely removes that flaw. All in all, amazing game!! Dot Wave (.Wave) deserves a much better rating. Can't wait for future updates!! :D

In this game, it's not as addicting as you think it will be, it's not like the next flappy bird. It's kinda just that side game you play rarely ever. Of course every game has ads. This game shows videos, which sometimes people buy DotWave if it looks fun, and the videos draw away from DotWave , once again, questioning DotWave . I am actually thinking about deleting it because it's not as fun as you think it is, you make a dot go up and Down big whoop I personally thought it was going to be better then that.

It is a fun game but after all it is very hard for beginners like whenever you start a round it lets you go and then 1 second later it has a challenge to it like it will make it go flat and upside down. Also there are way way way to much ads like I would finish a game and then do another game and I'll finish that and bam! Another ad! they show up every other game and it's annoying...but if your someone who doesn't mind those two things,then you just might like the game.

I do understand that you need to run ads to keep the game free, but you run too many to the point where it ruins the player experience. If you cans run ads 1 every 5 games compared to running ads every other game, that would put this game on top charts. If not, make the 0.99$ with no ads since most people will buy it including me. This will make the user experience great. Or, actually fix the remove ads purchase to make it remove ads.

I love the aspect of the game. The adds are really over used, i understand thats how the game is funded and so forth with all the technical side of it, but if you have to restart several times, and then an add pops up about every 10 seconds that you HAVE to watch, things get a bit annoying. BUT!!! If you pay, to be exact 1.99$ to remove the adds, and the transaction goes through, i better sure as hell be expecting fewer adds. But nope didnt make a dent in anything, WOULD NOT SUGGEST this game to anyone who gets frustrated with broken features. Im a very disappointed customer but what can you do, this game reminds me of Flappy Bird, but worse...much worse...

This is a fun game and I would play it more often if a couple of things got changed. First thing that really makes me want to delete the game entirely is the ads. I can't stand having to watch an ad almost every time I die. It makes the game complete crap. The second thing is the rotations I don't think anyone and keep going after it does one of its rotation type things. You can't see for to long of a period and you will crash. Not a good thing. The last thing I have to complain about is the random fricken titles. What's the difference between random and hard?

I honestly think this game has some serious potential! But, the number of ads seems pretty extreme. I understand money is necessary to improve the game, although lowering the number of ads wouldn't hurt that much. Maybe after every five deaths in the game, an ad pops up. Just a suggestion. Other than that, the game is fun and I really like the music! It's addictive and I think you could really get this game to its full potential. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoy playing the game, but there's the catch, I BARELY GET TO PLAY IT. The majority of the time spent on DotWave is ads. As soon as you crash you are forced to watch a 15-30 second ad that you can't even skip. It got to the point where I would just close DotWave and re-open it just to avoid the ads. The difficulty of this game doesn't even tick me off nearly as much as the constant ads. I nearly broke my phone in half out of anger just because of your God forsaken ads. To the makers of this game, those responsible for the endless ads, I hope you all rot in eternal damnation. That is all.

I like this game but there are way too many ads. An ad pops up every other time after you die and the majority of them are 15 second videos. I understand why videos have ads but this game is a little too excessive with them. One other thing -I like the difficulty in this game but I wish there was a mode that didn't spin out of control or try to mess you up. This game needs a lot of changes to it and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

I've read through most of these reviews and I'm going to say the same thing everyone else is saying. This game has a lot of potential, it could be the best on the market. But almost half of my deaths are due to pauses or glitches when the screen shifts. And the ads are ridiculous. I have had 4 ads in a row before, and 2 of those I had to watch for a full 30 seconds. The time watchin ads is more than you are actually playing the game. Good concept, just work out some gameplay stuff and cool it on the ads!

Honestly, I heard of DotWave on vine a few times at first I ignored it but then I heard it a few more times so I decided well give it a shot...I did and not impressed at all there are ads at lease every two games and playing is extremely easy to lose if you take am your finger of the screen for a second you will lose the game This game is not addicting at all and I do not recommend to get this srry who every made this

I hate all the adds ruining my game but their is a way to get rid of them without spending ur hard earned money. If you are playing on and iPod, iPad, or any kind of tablet, there is a way. Just disconnect to your wifi and the ads shouldn't appear. Note: if you are playing on a phone this might not work

To start off, this game is really bad when it comes to having to watch adds. Yes you can turn your phone on airplane mode but I think it is ridiculous how many are in there. A few are fine but when there becomes that many it's just annoying. Also, it's fun for the first ten seconds because after that it starts to spin and do crazy stuff that is almost impossible to do. Overall, I seriously do not recommend this game unless you are willing to pay to take adds away or if you can focus extremely well.

This game has held my attention for more than a day. That never happens with app games, especially when you decide you'd rather play an app game over your Xbox one games.
However, may I suggest removing the video ads? I understand you make money off of it, but too many ads make your game look bad. We are here to play, not watch dumb ads for bound-to-fail games. Please, you'd be doing everyone, and maybe even yourselves a favor.
