Great app except the reminders stopped working with the last update. Wish I could roll back to an older, better, version.

DayliEverydayPhotoJournal is extrememly satisfying - with options for multiple categories, options for reminders and the ability to choose three speeds for the exported video. I also love the ability to import photos as well.
However, the lack of specific date capabilities both within DayliEverydayPhotoJournal and when exported (the photos have the date of the picture when exported rather than when taken), is extremely frustrating when trying to identify the time period in which photos were taken on the computer or when organizing. If possible, please add the dates to the individual photos, perhaps shown at the top of the photo when clicked, and allow date writing capabilities. I'm looking for this to be my replacement to the now abandoned "Everyday" app.

Great for traveling to document each day or each site visited. I’d like to see a way to add a narrative to each picture taken

DayliEverydayPhotoJournal is the best I've found of its kind. It has extra tools to ensure your photos are always lined up, an option to create different albums.. It's very useful. However, it's lack of proper time stamps makes it all for nothing. The most youre told is the month a photo was taken, and when and album was created. Also, I strongly suggest turning on the save to camera roll feature.
I originally thought it was useless and defeated the purpose.. I didn't want random photos clogging up my stream. But after losing all data on my phone after a reset, I got everything back thanks to the cloud.. Except for my time lapse photos.
I spent a 8 months working on a project that is now lost forever. Create a back up system, dayli. Create a back up system..

Really like this. Simple to use and the guides make it easy to take uniform photos. The only thing missing is the ability to add notes attached to the picture. Strange since one would think that whenever you are taking pictures over a reasonable time period (which is exactly the purpose of DayliEverydayPhotoJournal ) one would think that you would want to look back at the photos and add comments or at least tags to jog one’s memory about the time taken.

Will DayliEverydayPhotoJournal be updated? I want more new features, please.

So far I rather like DayliEverydayPhotoJournal . It would be nice if it were easier to line up my new shot with the previous one — I find having the new shot translucent and the old one opaque makes it hard to line things up properly and take advantage of the guidelines. I think having them reversed would make things easier. Other than that, though, I think it's a very nice app. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes I notice in myself over the course of a year or so.

This is a great app that I use to make videos of my kids. BUT I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max which has the ability to take RAW photos and DayliEverydayPhotoJournal cannot handle it for some reason? I have tried to add RAW photos and DayliEverydayPhotoJournal keeps rejecting them.
I have updated my app to the latest version hoping that would fix it and nothing. Is there some reason why RAW photos are not able to be added? Otherwise this is a great app.

I love DayliEverydayPhotoJournal! However, there’s a problem when you delete a time lapse that has a reminder set: you can’t delete the reminder or modify it once you’ve deleted the time lapse in the DayliEverydayPhotoJournal .

A very good, if simple, app! It's hard to believe how much change you'll see in one year! As recommended, I did set reminders, and I customized the reminders for every day and the video that resulted from it was quite remarkable. I would suggest using the template so that your nose and your chin are in the same place or at least close on each shot. I did miss taking a pic on a few days, but the resulting video was still great. Absolutely remarkable!

I would love to see the option to add either a brief recording and/or a small amount of text to each image to know what was going on at the time as I track changes in my overall health and wellbeing. This way, I'll better understand the patterns and changes I see over a long period of time. This could be a wonderful personal motivator to make constructive changes to improve the quality of life. Wouldn't that be something!

Don't stress about any downsides mentioned in reviews: DayliEverydayPhotoJournal lets you keep a backup by optionally saving full resolution photos to your camera roll, export high quality videos (up to 1080p), turn flash on and off, and pretty much everything you would want it to do. It WOULD be nice if DayliEverydayPhotoJournal showed days photos were taken, not just months, but at least the original photos have perfectly fine timestamps.
Oh, and it works fine on iOS 9 and iPhone 6s! Thanks for putting the love time into DayliEverydayPhotoJournal.

Love this photo app. There are so many I’ve played with, but this is one I keep coming back to. I have “time-lapse journals” now for me, my kids, and my cats. The cats are hard to get consistent photos for, but that’s not Dayli’s fault. It works really well for the rest of us.
I especially appreciate how polished DayliEverydayPhotoJournal has become over the updates. DayliEverydayPhotoJournal is one of the fastest on my iPhone 5. The icon color is unique from most other apps so its easy to spot. Its fun to use, because when you take the picture you want to use you feel a little sense of accomplishment every time.
I’m going to start taking pics of the vineyard that’s growing at work, and when I get the whole process from the start of the growing vines to the completion of harvest, I’ll put the time-lapse up on our website.
My sincere thanks to Adam Swinden for all the great work. Keep it up, and this will easily become widely recognized as the Day one of photo apps.

I've been using DayliEverydayPhotoJournal for months now. I love the simplicity of it all. It's really easy to get started and keep going with reminders, and super easy to stay consistent with guide lines for when you take the picture. The video feature puts everything together fast and shares well.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to get started with a daily photo routine or anyone who is interested in seeing how they change over time.

Generally, DayliEverydayPhotoJournal works well, but then you run into the rough edges and end up being frustrated. Three big ones for me:
1. There is no orientation lock. When I try to take photos of my son he is often laying down or at an angle. This requires me to rotate the phone to line things up. However, DayliEverydayPhotoJournal will think I am now trying to shoot in landscape. This results in a lot of missed shots and wastes time.
2. The flash choices are 'Auto' or 'Flash'. I should be able to turn the flash off, period.
3. You can't tell when a photo was taken. Did I take a photo this morning? Yesterday? I have no way to know.
All of these result in wasted time and friction, making DayliEverydayPhotoJournal difficult to use and integrate into your daily routine.

I absolutely adore DayliEverydayPhotoJournal! It is amazing I am so glad I got my hands on this. I can see how much changes each day. It's amazing! I do have a suggestion though. If you could add more fps rates like 6 fps and 2 fps. Just to have more ability and choice. And maybe a 10 fps. For rather large photo collections. That would be amazing! Again love DayliEverydayPhotoJournal keep up the great work!

Update: developer was prompt with an update to address the below issues. Thanks!
Original review: I had been using DayliEverydayPhotoJournal for a month with my iPhone XS, but after upgrading to an iPhone 12 mini none of the guides line up correctly.

Quite a solid app I’d say

Haven’t had any problems and so far seems like a good app that does what it says it’s gonna do
