Useless app

AllcastTVPro is garbage, it doesn’t do anything. You can mirror pictures but that’s all. You cannot stream video or music, no where close too worth $5, don’t waste your money it doesn’t work. Awful app that is useful.

Garbage

AllcastTVPro really is garbage. It doesn’t do nothing it says it will. So not purchase if you are trying to use it to connect to devices. Then they don’t have anywhere on here to cancel the subscription.

Trash

Couldn't even find the four google chromecast on my network

Ripoff

Zero stars. Doesn’t work at all. No updates in months to fix anything.

Slow, barley usable.

Very slow . Paid $5 for AllcastTVPro , when it's barley worth $0.99 . It works great for streaming pictures , just takes 2-3 minutes to switch photos . Sometimes you can switch smoothly but that's very rare . My internet connection is great too so it's not that . Also , I can't stream videos . When I click on videos AllcastTVPro crashes . Horrible for a $5 app . Also , I've been trying to stream music this whole time I've been writing this , still hasn't started playing .
I'm streaming to an Xbox one by the way . Very disappointed , wish I could have my money back . I really regret buying this . Hopefully an update will come soon to make AllcastTVPro actually useful . I rarely , very very rarely ever write reviews on anything . This is probably my 2nd review . And I've had iPhones and iPods for years . Overall disappointed . Only "useful" thing would be streaming pictures , and even that is an awful process .

Where do I begin?

Based on the description, I thought I would be able to stream a full length movie from my iPhone 5s to my Samsung SmarTv. But when I tried - surprise! It didn’t work. I contacted the maker of AllcastTVPro via email and was told I should consider chopping up the movie into smaller pieces so it can process/work. I paid the money for AllcastTVPro so I wouldn’t have to do that. After I emailed a few more times, I was told that an update would come out in two weeks… Guess what? I’m still waiting. I am not able to use AllcastTVPro for its intended purposes. I so want my money back!

Instantly connects to my Xbox One

This worked much better than I expected it to. You launch AllcastTVPro , choose the device ( in my case, the Xbox One ) and you're immediately viewing your photos, videos and music on the tv. You don't even need to launch anything on the Xbox. It automatically switches over. Not even a password was required - which seems odd to me...

Note: I do have Smartglass installed on my phone. I'm not sure if that facilitates the transfer or not. Maybe the makers could clarify...

Waste of money

I downloaded the free version which would only display the first handful of photos on my phone then it lured me to download the full app so I could show more (so visually impaired great grandmother could see baby pictures of first great grandchild). Now only gets msg that those photos aren't supported. It won't even show the handful the free version showed. I feel like this is a bait and switch piece of garbage.

reload problem

AllcastTVPro is pretty much great for what I want to use it for but if I’m trying to stream something from google to my tv it always refreshes my page and I’m not able to click pause on what I’m watching. Since I paid for AllcastTVPro I feel like I should at least be able to pause what I’m watching and not have my page reload

Love, love, love this app

Thank you so much for creating AllcastTVPro. I have been looking for an app like this since I got my Iphone 4, now have an iPhone 5. I am so loving it to be able to share pictures from my cell phone to the TV. Thank you!

Not worth the $$$ 😓

I hardly ever spend money on apps but, I just got a new Smart TV and got really excited about playing music/pictures from my phone. But this does not act like a $5 app. Music I got from iTunes will not even play. constantly have to re-add songs after exiting AllcastTVPro . Doesn't play continuously after locking. Crashes all the time. Please fix, I will update my review. Thank you

Terrible.....don't waste your money!

Should have heeded to the previous review. I bought the premium version - a terrible app. Does its own thing- sometimes just stops after 1 song, sometimes picks up an old playlist, sometimes just doesn't play. Waste of 5 bucks..... Thought I'd try it anyway, but would not recommend to anyone unless they improve it.

App unusable need refund

I was able to connect to my Xbox One but I ran into same issues as other folks and AllcastTVPro is unusable. I accidentally tapped do not allow access to photos and it will not stream to my Xbox one. I would like to know how to get refund for premium version of AllcastTVPro. I tried and purchased Tubio app and it works flawlessly from the get.

Not worth it!!

Wasted money so far! I upgraded to the pro version, when my tv is on any other source my iPhone will pick up the tv's signal but as soon as I switch the source on my tv to AllShare AllcastTVPro can't locate the tv anymore. What's the point of AllcastTVPro if it doesn't work?!?! Wasted Money! Refund please!

Great for now

Ui should be a little more improved, very simple which is good. But I'm sure there's even better adjustments you can put to it to make it even better. Awesome app thanks.
