Tried a few Apps before this one and this is so much better it's not even close. DartMeister is straight forward, easy to pick up and customize players and teams and the player history is a great addition I wasn't expecting but makes it even more enjoyable over time. I use this on my iphone and iPad Mini, and enjoy the iPad experience nore because in Cricket you can see the full scoreboard, which is awesome! Very well worth upwards of $5 and the fact that it's free is Crazy!

I like DartMeister , easy to use. Has instructions for games that are clear and concise. Ok what I don’t like.... or more accurately what I think could be improved. When playing a game that you will only be throwing three darts I would like an option for a message that will ask if your done if you select yes it automatically moves to the next player. Also a few more games might be cool. This is a great app and I realize these are probably personal quirks, but hey it’s a review based on my impressions and opinion. NOT a hard and fast rule

Me and my brother just received a dart board. We watched a video on how to play and discovered that the scoring can get a bit complex. We looked for apps but the only ones that did the complete job were paid, and we knew there had to be something out there. Then, we come across DartMeister. It has multiple dart games to play, scores them flawlessly and is super easy to use. This is one of the best free apps I have ever downloaded. Thank you to the developers!

This is a very easy to use app. It's very visually appealing as well. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to save games. Previous games do show up below the toggle of which games were played, but when I click on players it shows that none of the players have played games and the history shows the same. I wish it automatically saved them to each player, as well as the history, and/or, I wish there was an option to save the game. Hopefully they'll be able to get that feature fixed soon.

DartMeister is great! Let’s start off there. It’s simple and provides a great bit of detail.

Some of the things I think would be beneficial and put it over the top, especially since it’s a paid app would be:

1. Personal score keeping. I like to practice and track my rounds, scores, ext. DartMeister does not provide me with data unless I mark that I played against some.

2. I’d like to be able to track games across multiple devices. I use my phone and iPad sometimes. I’d like to have them sync.

Those are my 2 major hang ups at the moment. It’s a great app and I do recommend using it.

Update: I see that someone responded to my review but I still do not see a practice round section as stated. Perhaps I am missing something here but do not believe so.

I have used DartMeister for 3 years. My buddies & I save all of our games. We look at stats & notice improvement & have running totals of who beat who.
All the sudden your app won’t let me see my stats as we have in the past. Now you want me to pay $5 to see them & have what we were able to see before.
Give me a commercial between games. Just don’t take the options we have for free & make us suddenly have to pay for them.
I wouldn’t have downloaded your app & saved years of stats on it if I knew you would erase it all or keep it from me without paying you for my info.

It really is as good as the reviews say. Only one minor item (more of a request maybe?). I use it on an iPad Pro and with the big screen it would be super nice if you could input each dart thrown by touching the exact part of the dartboard. That is to say, press triple or double rings rather than holding down number and sliding to ‘D’ or ‘T’. Again, really minor but would be super nice to be able to press exactly what you hit. Thanks.

DartMeister is great used it to score a few solo games and a 3 player match with some friends! A few minor thing are the only things I have come across and it was probably my fault lol! I would like it if you added more dart games. Even if you had to sale them at affordable rates! You always pay for anything one way or another so might as well make it better for yourself, right?

Once you get used to the controls you probably can’t find a better score keeper app. I mostly play x01 and Dart Meister has a really intuitive interface for that. One of the other free apps I tried would start getting the math wrong if you busted but this one keeps track perfectly as well as keeps track of your wins/losses.

Take a little get used at the very beginning.
Have not figure out how to change the order of the player.
It would be a better design if I can use DartMeister basic functions without tumble through or reading the instructions.

I’ve been wishing for an iPad layout for DartMeister for a few years now and it has been delivered! Very very cool improvement - I love that you can see a scoreboard and the throws at the same time. Worth the wait! DartMeister is truly fun to use with friends who come over and play darts at our home.

Great for 01 games , tells you the outs when set to expert or novice, love how you don’t have to have a internet connection to use DartMeister !!

Only thing is there is no way to delete saved game history when playing by yourself, if you add this it would be the bes darts app ever!! Great work and it’s free!!

It takes a few games to really figure it out but it works very well once you get it down. It also saves games and player profiles but you have to finish games for them to be saved by hitting the checkered flag at the bottom. For a free app it is awesome.

Have you ever downloaded an app that was not all it was cracked up to be?? You won’t have a problem with DartMeister. You can add so many players, perfect for garage play. You can also play yourself just in case there is no one around to challenge! And it’s free!! Very cool. 100% recommended.

Love DartMeister. Easy to use, looks great, allows team play, and very flexible to set up whatever kind of game your looking for within what I consider the “big 3” - cricket, X01, or shanghai. Just wish it could handle more than 4 people in an individual game but hey, still a great app!

This is a really good app and enhances your play. Really appreciate the way it guides your attention. Marking doubles and triples took me a moment to figure out—but once you have it, you appreciate the simplicity of that as well.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I have to for DartMeister. As a dart player who hates scoring the x01 games, i stumbled upon DartMeister and I LOVE it. Easy to use. Easy to figure out. Great interface. Developer...please keep updating when Apple does.

Well designed, convenient, and user friendly. Highly recommend. I use it all the time. Plus, it keeps a history of my stats.

Such an easy app to use and the How To Play sections are informative and easy to understand for a beginner.

I've looked at a couple of different apps, but this one takes the cake. The interface is clear and easy to understand. Kudos to DartMeister designer for creating a unique, appealing piece of software. Definitely recommend to any dart players.
