Gosh I thought most of us were off of XP and Vista by now but that is what the developer lists the server software as running under. Anyhow iRemoteComputer didn't work for me. The Windows based server software version said it installed and opened. I couldn't tell if was doing anything. The iPhone app was never able to find the server. Great idea, haven't found an app that works to do this yet.

App promises a lot but don't deliver. Doesn't even open. Shuts down immediately after opening. Waste of time

I downloaded iRemoteComputer , went to the website, made a server. It still didn't work.

I downloaded the windows application on my PC and Of course on my IPod touch and it doesn't seem to find the "server" that it suppose to on my iPod after installing the alpha remote pc , well I just hope with an update soon it'll work afterwords but till then , iRemoteComputer hasn't worked for me, and I'm very disappointed in iRemoteComputer for getting my hopes up, and seeing that you have to pay for full functionality it really blows ,

I like the convenience if not needing to get up to adjust movie and song settings. It may not want to reach all the outer corners of my screen but it works for the most part. It's the only app of this type that I've tried.

If you're on the couch, not far away from the computer but a substantial enough distance to require you to move, you won't have to with iRemoteComputer. It's great for the lazy days!

Ok so I got iRemoteComputer and when I went into the settings of it I was configuring how long it would search for servers. But now when I try to hit return I won't let me.

iRemoteComputer is perfect granted you have to download some stuff to your pc to but it is free, easy, and virus free!!! You just have to be somewhat patient with it because it will fall behind a bit. I have a Compaq PC, with windows xp and it runs great. But when you get your password if you have something like this (1I&HT:0:) you can get the o's and the 0's mixed up and the i's and the l's mixed up due to the font. Worth it download it. I would have purchased the full but I didn't have the money. :p

It worked quite well with a lot of functionality. I would like a scroll bar along the right side of the mouse pad but that's a bit nitpicky.

Wanted to be a couch potato and control windows media player on my computer. Works like a charm! Definitely would recommend.

Easy to set up. Sometimes take a while to connect but it works great and has good options.

It's a neat and convent app to have not to mention is fun to mess with people that are using the computer and don't know I have it on my phone yet
