Doesn’t show up most of the time. I would give it zero stars if possible.
Initial setup was a nightmare. contacted CS who called me right away and helped. I guess that was the honeymoon cause they have been a noshow
ever since. App tracking worked for a few days and then suddenly stopped tracking family member. I had told all family members to leave location always on so when GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp stopped tracking them, I deleted GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp and tried to re-install. Big mistake! App asked me for a password which I never received because CS initially set everything up on the phone on their end and didn’t walk me through the setup. When trying to re-install, App would freeze and I had to reboot phone to get it to work again until it froze again after trying to set up GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp again.
Tried to call and email CS again: CRICKETS!
This group could use a user friendly app that truly functions and responsive people to run it. Then they could be called a company. Oh, and do I sound PO’d? Because I am.

I set GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp app on my phone and my wife’s phone and it worked great for the first day then yesterday it did not update for like 14 hours. Today it’s the same thing, it is not updating since my wife left for work this morning at 9 AM it is now 1:47 PM. How can an app that works so great the first day and then completely drop off the face of the earth and not work at all the next day??? I signed up for a year on both phones and I am having to cancel that membership within this for seven day trial period.

The new update has fixed so many issues and the battery life is better than ever! I’m so impressed with how accurate it is and how easy it is to connect with family members. I can even share my location with someone, regardless of what platform they are on.

The chrip map is so much better than google maps, I can even see my exact speed and direction.

We’ve been using chirp to track our trucks on the road with great success. Cheapest alternative I’ve found and the mobile/web tracking features make it the only option for our team. 10/10

I have been using a different tracking app that didn't have all of the features of chirp. I was excited when I found this and immediately upgraded to the premium version. On the first day of trying it I find it doesn't work. Doesn't bring up the map where I'm located and doesn't track the people on my list in real time. Very bad delay and is not tracking their speed. I'm going to stick with GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp I already have.

The ONLY WAY GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp allows you to track anyone is if you buy the use, either a monthly account or an annual one. It says 7 day free trail, what it actually means is download app, agree to terms and in 7 days we will bill you, THEN you get to use GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp , only then, after we have your money. There is no free trail at all, so you never really know how well it works or if it actually does work unless you agree to pay the Chirp fees. Not only is that crap, it’s false advertising and that’s illegal. Don’t trust this company or app now that I know the reality of it. Pay up front, maybe we’ll let you do something. 🤬

Can’t get pass the adds waste of time

I tested GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp to track my kid. Location updates are haphazard and delayed. GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp is showing my kid at school while "find my iPhone" is showing her at home ! The interface is misleading as it pretends it has a current location fix when the data is hours old. Worse of all it kills my battery, my Iphone shows that GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp is responsible for 50% of my power usage. I only use my phone to see where my kid is, I am not even tracking ! I guess it keeps sending its position to a server but I don't see how to turn that off. Add the crazy in-app cost per phone tracked and there is really no reason to use GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp .

My purpose for wanting an app like this is to keep track of my 16 year old that just got his license. The concept of GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp is great. Maybe if you pay for GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp it would be a little more dependable? They might have sucked me into GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp if it were a lot cheaper, but I tried the free version to see how well it worked? The free version is a total WASTE of time!! The free version is very limited, all it lets you do is track 1 person? Then There was about a 15 minute time delay in keeping track of the 1 person that the free app allows??? Also the speed that they move is not available on the free version? Then there is the battery use? I have an iPhone 6 & my battery was drawn down over 50% with very light use in about 6 hrs after installing this? DON'T bother with GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp unless you plan to pay for it!!!!!

I downloaded GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp after reading about it and loved the idea. I started by creating an account. Great. We're used to this. But then it entered a random passcode for convenience/security which isn't my preference. So, I changed it to mine which resulted in an error message and then it seemed like nothing was accepted. However when I went back I was signed in and everything was fine. A bit annoying but glitches like that are expected occasionally.

After the irritating sign-up I found out the panic button is one of the premium features that require a $5/month subscription.

Sadly, I'm disappointed.

This is 2nd tracker app we've tried. Even paid premium hoping that would help. It has been quite unreliable. If either phone battery low, can't find location of person tracked. Burns up battery pretty fast. Loses people in circle & have to resend invite. Not worth $5/mon on each phone. Only good thing, was always tried to help in timely fashion. Have found 3rd app that is free & so far works much better. Am discontinuing Chirp.

Chirp is by far the only tracking app that does exactly what it says it does, and really well I might add. Yes there are limited features when you have the free version but it works accurately and consistently for me and my friends and family. I will say that the premium upgrade is definitely worth it because it unlocks real-time tracking and boundaries which I use all the time. So kudos to the developers for making an awesome tracking app that I depend on daily..

I have been using Chirp for several months now, and I have found it to be a great way to keep track of my family as I travel quite a bit. We all have varied things and places where we have to be and many times we find ourselves in need of trying to locate the other. This has proven to be a great source of security that we hadn't really found in other apps. I recommend it highly. Customer Service is also very helpful and quick to respond when you have a question or any issue

Technology that helps me keep an eye on my family in many ways - how amazing is that!?!
My favorite features are the live view when a loved one is traveling (even see the MPH) and the ability to set a boundary and receive an alert if they break that boundary line - AWESOME. Of course, the most powerful feature is the PANIC button that immediately sends your location to the people you're connected to on Chirp. I also like the ability to see the location of where crimes have been committed along the travel route of the family member that's driving. GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp is definitely worth investing in - can't wait to see what Moonbeam releases next!

After a few days of using this heavily to track my employees I can testify that is works beautifully and is reliable! Plus it has so many other features and functions not found in other gimmicky tracking apps we have tried. This is worth the download.

I love ChirpGPS! It lets family know where I am, and my ETA to events when they set boundaries. I love that I’m able to see my friends location! The panic button is probably my favorite feature because if I ever feel unsafe, I just swipe over to click “Panic” in case of emergency, it will let my emergency contacts know where I am immediately. Great app!

GPSTrackerandLocatorChirp is great! I love being able to track my friends, I'm notified when they get to my house, and we can just drop pins for any locations we need. Love the new features with the latest update!
