No iOS support

2022-05-22

The video verification service, which is required to enter the U.S. only works on computer and only on Chrome browser.
This information is not listed before the purchase process, not even on the “Learn More” page. It is only visible if you happen to scroll down past the Add to Cart button.
Why do they have iOS apps if they don’t support across all their services?!
Competing products do verification over iPhone.
Unacceptable. We may miss our flight as a result.

Stupid

2022-06-23

You go on the website to schedule an appointment. The link doesn’t work to check appointment availability, but the link works to take your money. Then, they direct you here to download iHealthCOVID19Test , but it is only for the self test at home. I used Chrome, followed the instructions, but there is no way to check available slots until you pay. The tests are also made in China and the help desk is only open M-F 8:30-5 so you are screwed if you need help on the weekend. In Europe, I can walk 3 minutes to a Covid test trailer, pay 20€ and have results printed and/or emailed to me by the time I get home. Tell me again how great capitalism is. It’s great for big tech, big government and big pharma.

I do not trust this test

2022-07-24

My package did not have a sealed separate solution with to add to the not empty tube so the directions were frustrating. When I went to iHealthCOVID19Test to set the timer, I had to go through the directions of someone telling me what to do BEFORE I could set the timer. I did it without iHealthCOVID19Test anyway and will be deleting iHealthCOVID19Test forthwith.

The English language skills of the writers of the directions made clear that English was not their primary language. How aggravating it was to stick the thing up my nose and do all the junk only to discover this test was made in China. How many problems have they had making tests?

Not happy.

Incorrect vaccination dates

2022-08-25

Went to add vaccination record and it doesn’t indicate which dose it’s recording. Went back to correct the dates and it won’t save it. Glitch within iHealthCOVID19Test . Exited iHealthCOVID19Test and went back on and it’s the same thing. Recording my vaccination record for both doses as todays date which is incorrect. Called in to get them to correct it and was told they cannot do anything other than pass a note to the development team for them to update iHealthCOVID19Test . They instructed me to check back at a later time if there’s an app update. Useless. I wanted to use this for traveling purposes but it’s a broken app.

Spam junk mail floods my inbox shortly after creating account

2022-09-26

I should have read previous reviews before downloading App and creating an account, sharing my email and personal info. The spam and junk mail quickly flooded a mailbox I reserve only for important emails. So they didn’t wait to sell my information. Think long and hard about downloading an App that has major issues and is not useful at all. Read the reviews, then keep scrolling!!!! The fake reviews stand out! And if anyone knows how to stop the spam and junk associated with iHealthCOVID19Test, please let me know.

Good test Bad App Design

2022-10-27

Seems to collect user data for those that are tested. Seems to indicate it shares the test results with state agencies but I doubt that is the case. Requires you to watch videos and wait for a test timer to complete in order to log the test results.

Would have been useful if it actually sent test results to public health databases. Would have been useful if one didn’t need to watch videos and wait for a timer just to log a test result.

Looks like you can add other family members and record their results, but again you have to go through the test video and timer sequence each time.

Not sure how iHealthCOVID19Test design team actually got to the point where they released it in the state it is in. Pretty shameful.

No. Just no.

2022-11-28

The very first instruction is to download iHealthCOVID19Test . Open iHealthCOVID19Test , and they want you to pay $25 immediately before going any farther. No. Just no.

The next step is to determine whether it is test set one or test set two. There is no indication on either the box or its contents which test set it is.

The instructions while occasionally oddly written, are fairly easy to follow without having to use iHealthCOVID19Test . It is clear that the instructions were not written by a native English speaker.

The test was not approved by the FDA, merely authorized under an emergency use authorization. The tests were manufactured in China. I cannot speak to the reliability of them, especially since the FDA did not approve the test. but hey, free test.

Use as a first – line test, but do not rely on the results all that much. If in doubt, seek out and pay for a reliable molecular test, from a reliable health practitioner, clinic, or other source.

Vaccination dates

2022-12-29

If you fat fingered the first dose date, saved it went and entered your second dose date then later checked it and and realized the date was wrong, any normal person would want to correct the error. When you update The incorrect date and save it iHealthCOVID19Test makes both vaccination dates the current date! Are you even serious guys? Need an app update for sure!

Easy but invasive and not necessary

2023-01-30

At first I thought iHealthCOVID19Test was a great way to document the test and my Covid Vaccine status, but I am concerned about who sees this info.

There appears to be no way to remove vaccine status or users. Also the vaccine status does not use the actual date but rather the current date. Tried to correct it numerous times but it will not save.

Test is easy but app and I casiveness not required.

Works as designed. BADLY designed.

2023-03-03

The test kit came with a perfectly cromulent set of instructions in the box, which we followed. At the end of our testing cycle, we opened iHealthCOVID19Test only to find you have to watch un-skippable videos for each step and then run out a 15 minute timer before it will let you upload your results.
On the perfectly understandable instructions printed on the paper that came in the box, it warns that if you wait till more than 30 minutes after the test you may get a false positive. But if you didn’t do the test 100% in tandem with this brilliant app, there is literally no way to not finish more than 30 minutes in.
You guys really need to make the videos and the timer skippable.

Couple bugs

2023-04-01

My first vaccine was Johnson & Johnson. As a result there was no second dose of my initial vaccination series. Needs to be a way to state that.

I received the booster shot of a different vaccine. When I enter the date of the booster, the initial vaccine changes to the same date. No matter how many times I try to correct it, it still doesn’t work. After taking a new test, the results page shows my vaccines on the current date instead of the dates they were given.

Tried reaching out via email, but received no response.

Great concept

2023-05-03

Great concept and works well just a few improvements would be great. Ability to add 3rd vaccination. Ability to add test results from other vendors and upload email results as proof. Ability to store dr email so don’t have to look it up every time I test. Also ability to send results to another party. I am a mobile notary and because I go in peoples homes I have to test weekly.

Not valid for international travel

2023-06-03

as nice as this test is do not try to get through the airport for international travel. You will need a certified test from the health institution to be valid for travel on international flights. This may change in the near future but right now this test will not work for international air travel

Unable to add booster shot

2023-07-05

Areas that need improvement:

- need the ability to add a single photo as card had multiple entries. For example, upload once and then if you need to upload another one, give the user the option to add as new or replace existing.
- Need to be able to add booster shots
- would like to ability to manually add Covid-19 antigen test from other manufacturers by uploading photos of those test results.

Helpful if you’re a visual/auditory learner

2023-08-05

I found iHealthCOVID19Test helpful for directions and the timer helpful for keeping track while waiting for results. It gives you the option to report your result to the CDC but doesn’t include the District of Columbia in the drop down list of states which is a pretty egregious oversight given that these are the tests offered for free in DC.

Unable to email results

2023-09-06

iHealthCOVID19Test is easy to use and instructions are clear and pretty well done except for a couple minor problems.

I could not email the test results because there is no SEND button anywhere (maybe it’s hidden under the keyboard?).

Another minor issue is you have to keep rotating the phone between videos which are in landscape orientation and the Next button which is in portrait orientation. The Next buttons in between the videos should be in landscape.

Great app

2023-10-08

This is a great app however we realize that if we make mistakes on the entry of dates of vaccination, we cannot do any changes anymore. We tried to delete the family member with wrong vaccination dates but this is not possible. We hope this issue can be corrected on the next version update.

Good test - App has problems

2023-11-08

Despite a few misspelled words in the instructions, the video is easy to follow. One problem for people living in the District of Columbia (where test kits were distributed free to residents) - we cannot report results to the CDC because DC is not on the State dropdown list for reporting your address.

Nothing wrong with it

2023-12-10

The version of iHealthCOVID19Test I have as of today works just fine and the videos are clear enough to guide you through the process. You can test without iHealthCOVID19Test and the printed instructions from the box are easy to follow as well.

These reviews…

2024-01-10

You’d think iHealthCOVID19Test was a broken piece of garbage judging by the reviews. Everything worked just fine for me. I'm sure some of them have merit, but for me it was easy to follow and the instructional videos were thorough and helpful.

Create an account? Why?

2024-11-15

Why do I need an account to use your app?

Erm

2024-11-15

Instructions aren’t in English. Videos play rev wrong way.

Just Terrible

2024-11-15

I purchased test kits associated with the expectation that I could prove a negative test result when necessary. iHealthCOVID19Test produces two records of test results. One is simple, plain text, document with your name, date/time and test result, positive or negative. I could type the same thing in an email and print it off in under 30 seconds. The other shows a barcode, date/time and test result, positive or negative. Get that? It doesn’t show your name with the test result. Oh, and the bar code doesn’t work so it isn’t as if someone could look up and verify thr result.

Great app overall

2024-11-15

Great app my illiterate 12 year old son with severe ADHD and was able to complete this test with no problem. iHealthCOVID19Test was a great help to him since he is illiterate and can show anyone that he as been tested. I highly recommend to anyone who is illiterate.

Greatest app ever made

2024-11-15

My illiterate 3 year old daughter was easily able to follow the simple and straightforward instructions on this well developed, professional quality app. Smooth and easy process, highly recommended!

Easy to use

2024-11-15

Step by step video instructions are easy to follow, like the 15 minutes counting down function.
