Limited time using this and already very disappointed. As with most things associated with Solara, this is not user friendly. Does not allow you to choose or opt out of reminders- keeps asking for my weight and gives me a “ weekly report” whether I want it or not. An envelope icon on the upper right side of the screen is inactive on my i-phone 11 (on which other apps work great). Tech support is not as available for west coast and mountain time users because they are only available M- F to 6 pm EST. No help on weekends. I finally figured out that I have to go to “weekly reports” to make these “unread” but inaccessible messages go away, and even then, I cannot delete them. Also looks like ordering from Solara via the app may be much slower than over the phone. Ordered a transmitter on Friday last week and still only says “preparing your order” 5 days later. If I could give this a zero, I would. Question: What are they doing with all of the detailed medical data users are entering IF you choose to do that?

This app is absolutely horrible. I recently moved and went to the app to update my new address. Nope, not an option. So I went to the Solara website and tried there. Nope, you are sent to a page to send in an email to ask a question. So I went back to the app to try and put in a new order. During the ordering process you are asked several questions, one of them being “Do you have a new address?” I clicked “yes” and before you finish there is an area to type any changes to your order including new address or new insurance. My order was placed and is now going to my old address. I would say both this app snd their website look like they were built by kids in high school, but I’ve had seen the work kids can do nowadays and it would be an insult. The only way to contact them for you to call and wait on hold for about an hour. Except for the countless sales calls to let you know you can order more supplies.

I downloaded this app to try and communicate with Solara since Insulet/Omnipod is making me go through them. I have had to order my pumps through various pump suppliers on line since changing to Omnipod Dash in the fall of 2021. There is no way to communicate with Solara since I will never wait over an hour on their phone line. I have asked Insulet to try and help. They texted me the link to this app but there is no mention of pumps at all - only my Dexcom sensors.
