Overclip - background eraser Reviews

Had trouble at first then stopped working after IOS update. Reinstalling Overclip solved the issue.

Everytime I go to choose my own photo the instructions (ie how to choose a picture from the internet) pop up. EVERY TIME. It’s extremely annoying.

Also, I would like an option for the the picture in the background to not be augmented reality/warped/bent. I’d like an option for it to simply be flat.

Also, many times when choosing my own photo, it sets it 90 degrees to how it is saves on my phone. That’s a problem.

This would get five stars from me, but there are two silly things holding this back:

Records at the screen resolution of the phone and not the front or rear facing cameras native resolution(s). Why on earth is this not an adjustable setting considering Overclip isn’t cheap for the paid version?!

The share with friends question dialogue that pops up constantly after recording or saving is extremely annoying. There needs to be an option to turn this off completely!

This is one the few apps that does what I want (faux green screen) on a level that is much more acceptable than what else is out there, but the points mentioned above take away from it.

This tech is a good start— and I’m surprised by how decent the segmentation algorithm is. I have some suggestions as someone who needs this type of app a lot:

- allow me to control the flex of the background video, I often don’t want it at all.
- allow me to move the background video freely, rotate and reorient it.
- scrap the editing tool— I think it should just save to be less complicated. It’s surprising that you can trim your clip but have no controls to mute the background videos audio etc.
- allow me to change the skybox color
- there’s a lot of pop ups for instructions, promotion, etc.
- there are a ton of bugs

All in all I subscribed because it’s a good start but it needs a lot of work to be a usable app.

Is the this lifetime premium plan a one time purchase? I like the back grounds. Is it possible to make the object and the background look less fake when they are together. You can still see pieces of the original background in my room.

Just purchased. Love the backgrounds but it seems every time I record and try to send every other one it freezes and the program locks me out and I have to close the entire program and restart. Where are all

If you put Overclip close to your ear you could hear background noises like someone’s house when I heard it it was a tv playing someone watching dish’s and a little girl saying what it’s like someone was tracking you or could see you it was scary and I deleted it immediately do not buy Overclip someone respond to me if you heard something too

Incredibly user friendly even for the technologically challenged

The big problem I have with this is that it’ll show myself in a video, even without a green screen, but it won’t show my legos unless I’m holding them. Really makes Stopmotion impossible for Overclip

I like Overclip, because it’s actually working and easier to work out then all the other apps I tried to use green screen, so I really appreciate Overclip

If this is a background eraser I will report this and take this off Overclip Store

When I opened it was looking at the back camera on my phone and I couldn’t flip it the other way and can I actually use a green screen?

I rarely write reviews, but Overclip is really good.

The only reason I downloaded Overclip was so I could edit my green screen picture that I took for my yt, but then I found out that I need like premium to just use MY photos! I mean, its a good app and all but it was very disappointing.

Cancel now. Carefully read both e mail addresses on the same page They DO NOT MATCH. They return immediately with the alert not a valid e mail.

They make you pay to use your own images. I found another app that doesn’t charge for this. Also very poor design and hard to use

Hello I really love the concept of Overclip!
Two issues:
1. After recording it was a glitch to try and save it.
2. When closing Overclip it continues to run in the background after its closed, like a delay

Please fix these bugs, I really want to become a full member but not until these items are fixed

I hate Overclip! Do not get! It is laggy and it crashes, I can’t add my own photos. Bad app! Please don’t use this! I suggest green screen. That app is $4.99 but it actually works if you have a green screen. This is a bad app. Save your time, and avoid Overclip. Bad app.

Don’t do it. Would like my money back that I paid for the premium version. App will not allow you to go to next screen. Just keeps spinning. On a brand new iPhone.
