Positive affirmations, positive affirmations, positive affirmations!!! Long story short, I downloaded this app when I was completely broken. I was going through a lot emotionally, I was insecure, I was hopeless, I didn’t love myself, and I felt like giving up.... actually, I did in fact give up. I gave up on myself and on any hope I had for the future. One day I stumbled across this app but when I downloaded it, I had no idea that it was going to change my thinking so drastically. From the podcast to the frequent uplifting text (that always seem to come at the right time), I slowly started to regain my sense of self. Now don’t get me wrong.. It takes a lot more than an app to make such drastic changes but #SelfishBabe, gave me the mindset to do so. The founder of this app, Olanikee Osi, is encouraging but also relatable. She taught me how to eliminate self doubt and negative self talk. I now walk in new situations constantly thinking about how “M*thaF*ckin Worthy” I am!!! Okur. I said I was going to make this short and sweet, but I guess I lied lol, sorry. I’m so glad she created this app because so many women need to be uplifted. I support her, I support this app, and I personally want to thank you for your effort and your time! She’s representing us so well! Keep up the good work sis, ya killing it!

I downloaded this app a year ago because a friend recommended me to it. I was in a low place and I even thought of self harm. Then I started listening to the podcast and one I listen to even to this day “3 reasons to why letting go of your trauma identity serves you” I decided to build up these walls and stay to myself and mind you I’m married and been with him for almost 8yrs but this even occurred years before we met. Something triggered it and that’s what led to my break down and also led my friend to tell me about this app. I listened to this particular podcast and it showed me that I can overcome it and I can let it go. I realize that I can finally talk to my husband about it and show that this trauma won’t be me, that it’s not me and I can be better then what happened to me and I started speaking it aloud and praying, talking to my husband about it and I’ve been happy ever since. I can think about it and not feel the pain or scared. I’m not willing to build up those walls and push people away especially him (not again) this app has helped me in a few ways even with self confidence. I recommend everyone download it, trust me you will not be disappointed.

God is ALWAYS on time. I say this because around the time when I discovered the app I was going through alittle rough patch in my life regarding personal relationships I had. I was down on myself and didn’t have that confidence I once had and didn’t feel as though I would get it back. I saw this app as an ad on Instagram and thought to download it because of the quote that I saw. I have had the app for almost a year and I can say it is the best app ever. From the podcasts to the morning & afternoon notifications that I receive, this app in motivating. They always pop up at the right times too. These ladies are so inspiring and so motivational it’s unbelievable. There were mornings when I didn’t want to get out of bed or felt like I wasn’t good enough for certain people and the app’s notification pops up and give me an uplifting reality check. This, hands down is the best app. I’ve recommended the #selfishbabes app to my friends to follow their Instagram and Facebook pages and I screenshot their daily notifications and post them on my Instagram story. You never know who comes across your page and who needs to hear empowering words! This app is worth it !
