Tricky Test 2™: Genius Brain? Reviews

I love this game but there are 2 things that tick me off about it. 1) every time I would fly through an easy level (only taking at the most 10 seconds) my time would go up 2 minutes and on the ones it actually took me 2 or 3 minutes my time went up like 10.
2) when my time ran out I had 60 coins. It gives me the option to buy more time for 50 coins. I repeatedly pressed ok to buy but the option to purchase kept popping up. Finally after the 10th jab it went to another page where it tells me 60 coins isn’t enough to buy 20 extra minutes for 50 coins! It says I need 90 more! So I try again and it definitely says for 50 coins. So anyways I do the Facebook thing to get free coins and I get my total up to 280. I buy the 20 minutes and it takes 150 coins from me. I start playing the next level. I get a couple minutes into the level but then I had to stop to take my dog out. I exited TrickyTest2 . Took my dog out for 6 minutes. I know bc I timed It to see if the game would still take my time while completely off. Guess what?! I turned it back on and it says my time is up!! So I spent 3x’s the amount of coins that it said it would charge me for 20 minutes on 1 level that I only spent 2to 3 minutes on. Now it says I need to spend “50” more coins for 20 min. AKA (y’all lie and steal 100 extra coins than was stated in writing for only 3 minutes.

Ok so I just finished the game and it was pretty fun and funny! You really had to think outside the box to get the answers, a lot of times it just makes zero sense and some, once you get the answer your like “ohhhhhhhhh”. At first it’s really frustrating and almost every round your spending coins to find the solution, and other times it’s kind of common sense /obvious/. 🙃 while your getting to like the 30’s and 50’s it’s kinda easy to where you can go without clues for a while but once you get to like the 70’s and above it’s just constant buying solutions. 😤😫😖😕😔😐😶... Honestly this game should be called “ think outside the box” bc that is really what this is. Overall this isn’t the BEST game in the world. It’s really fun. Also not the worse just like right in the middle.😬 but other than the struggles/ flaws this game is really fun to play when you are bored!🖤❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 Bonus opinion: The other tricky game that is out costs FREAKING $2.00!!!! Honestly I don’t think people would pay for a game that will just frustrate/stress them out, or at least I wouldn’t. 😑🙄 our of all honesty I think you guys ( the developers) would get a lot more downloads if it was free! 😅🙃💜 If you decide to add some changes, PLEASE let me know so I could play it! 😅😁 with lots of respect 🖤🖤 vampire_bearr

I like the concepts of these levels, but the game is not perfect. Firstly, the game gets mad at you for doing pretty much anything other than the correct solution. For instance, in one level, you have to wake up someone. Lying next to her is a baseball bat and a bucket of water. The correct solution, which I won’t say, is extremely specific and does not involve either. I don’t understand why you can’t just dump the water over her head or whack her with the bat- or even shake her awake. But if you tap on any of those things, the game yells at you and you lose a life. At least add some animation explaining why you can’t do that.
Additionally, I’m experiencing a very annoying issue. It might be my phone (iPhone 7S), but the menu button in the top left is extremely hard to click. I basically have to tap like a madman up there until I find the correct place to open it. This wouldn’t be a huge problem, as dragging down from the top and opening the dashboard and closing it opens the menu, but I’m on a level (98) that requires me to drag the menu icon down to solve the puzzle. I cannot for the life of me drag it down to complete this task.
Each of these issues removes a star. Otherwise, creative out-of-the-box thinking game.

Ok, so it is currently March 22nd. I updated this 6 days ago. The update DID NOT change the fact that it is STILL Christmas themed after a year!! The update did absolutely nothing!! It’s like the editors update it just to make people believe that they are still active, when they are only partially... if that. It’s like they’re too lazy to actually go in and change the theme. I’ve stopped playing it as much because I actually don’t celebrate Christmas and it got annoying! Please fix this and i will change my rating to a four.

The other reason I marked off a star is because some of these questions are just idiotic. Like the owl one is repeated many times!! And the stupid elephant one! Also if you got none of these wrong and under 90 mins there is NO WAY that your IQ is immediately 400 something. I’m not saying you’re not smart, but it’s very unlikely and if you want a real IQ then go to a perfessional. (I know, I know I spelled that wrong!!)

EDIT: Ok, I judged you guys last time and thank you so much for updating! I just updated this! You guys create excellent games, it’s just some of the questions are respected too often. But other than that, great game!

I get that they’re trying to be creative and tricky, but that means that the puzzles demand that you be able to play a bit before deciding on your answer. On some puzzles, your first contact with the screen means you’ve chosen your answer, so doing anything wrong costs a life. On others, you HAVE to touch the screen and move some stuff BEFORE your answer, but previous questions have trained you not to touch anything unless you’re sure. Some clever logic and analytical puzzles, but the process of actually playing the game makes it basically boil down to: 1) see the obvious answer, don’t choose it, 2) then think creatively, but be afraid to do anything because it’s never clear when you will have crossed the line. Also, some puzzles are just broken logically. E.g., you can’t teach me to be hypercritical of the word choices and then have a woman presented as a fiancée...except it’s spelled fiancé, which would be a man, and the ring is on the wrong hand. Most importantly, the game only allows ITS creative solutions, even though others would also work. E.g., some puzzles surprise you by making use of input methods you hadn’t thought of, but the game will only accept those inputs on certain puzzles. In short, think outside of the box...whoa whoa whoa, not like that. Do it this way instead. You know, like inside the box.

Ok, I’m not one to write reviews or anything, but this game has one major issue that I don’t know if you can fix.
This one major issue is that sometimes while you will me playing the game, an add will pop up. (A google maps ad) that shows you the same location every time (sofive Elkins Park, Aka Elkins Park) and this ad has no way to get out of it whatsoever. No little “X” to escape!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ And this makes you have to g out of the game, and restart TrickyTest2 ! (Restart being having to double click your home button and swipe up on TrickyTest2 to restart it so you will have to open up the game again, and may I mention, this is happening more and more, and sometimes this could potentially crash TrickyTest2 . And this comes to the point where TrickyTest2 is amazing to play, but the chance of this add holds me back from playing the game.

You know when you click the back button after you collect your coins? Well when I click on my IPHONE XR it shows the Facebook sign in and when I exit out of that, it says it was unable to sign in, and ultimately, takes up time when you aren’t even playing. Also, when you run out of lives, and you click the “yes” button to watch a video and keep going on the same question, it DOESNT WORK. So I have to go three or five questions back even when I know and remember the same old questions from before. Even though this is kinda obvious, it still bothers me that they have so much self advertising in the game and it pops out of nowhere sometimes making you get the game on accident. Also, it says it looks simple ( which it does) but sometimes, the solution is something you can’t even see on the screen, like after you’ve used the clue and you have the solution on the balloon popping one, it’s in the corner and it’s gray, JUST LIKE THE BACKGROUND. Overall, it’s a fun time- passing game, but needs a bit of work.

I got this game back in February. I regret it. There are some core problems with the game. First of all, I went to go get my bonus, collected my coins, and ended up getting stuck on that screen. No matter how many times I clicked. The only way to get out is to refresh the game. But now here is with the gameplay itself. It’s. Just. BORING. Some puzzles are mind baffling and all, but some are just downright too hard. Like the one with the mosquito. That one threw me for a loop until I eventually had to use some of my coins to get the solution (with 99.8% of these levels, that’s usually what I do) and I say things such as “no one would be able to guess that.” Here’s an example. The strongest balloon level. I hated that level. I’m not even at level 30 yet. You lose all your lives. Your punishment? Going back a maximum of 5 levels. If you don’t want that to happen, you will have to watch an ad. Some levels are way to hard, but then other times they’re way too easy. Like “how many holes does this shirt have?” Overall, if you lose your patience real easily, I don’t recommend this game. I don’t recommend this game in general.

(1) The ads prevail through airplane mode, and there’s a lot of them. (2) Controls/navigation is kind of a disaster.... you can’t restart a game (yeah you heard me! Even closing TrickyTest2 won’t end the game! It keeps continuing me from my last spot, 4/5 lives, I just want to start over fresh!), and it’s clunky selecting which level when you lose! I don’t understand why there’s an arrow like I can select a different level, but it throws me 3 levels back and doesn’t let me switch. I just... don’t understand. (3) Some of the questions don’t seem clever and fun, they just seem to try to trick you. One question will be literal and the next will be figurative. If you’re looking to use wits or logic there’s almost no way to do it—it feels random which direction a question may go. Maybe that’s the point of this game? Maybe some people enjoy that? I like a LITTLE bit of ability to figure and guess rather than feeling like it’s random. Anyway. Maybe you’ll like it, it’s really proving to be not the game for me though.

I really enjoy TrickyTest2 and I think you should get it because it is really cool 😎 this is very challenging and you don’t even need WiFi! Now as I said in the title I’m saying a fact about me it isn’t personal but here it is: i think John Mulaney is very funny and I love ya watching him on my tv the reason I’m saying this is because I push this game while I’m watching John mulaney (if you don’t know who that is he is a AWSOME comidian!!) I have no complaints about this game at all so 5 stars (I would do ten if I could) I really hope you don’t add levels that you need to buy I had a game like that and it made me very sad cause I loved it and then I had to delete it I love playing this so I hope I can play it forever 🤩

This game is fun and challenging and all that, and it has the potential to be really fun. The things I don’t like are 1. The glitchy animations in between each puzzle. I just want to do the puzzles, not watch some shapeless hands “clap for me”, then take forever to get tot he next puzzle. 2. I don’t like this whole “get it all in 120 mins and you’re officially a genius” stuff. It would be more fair if you didn’t lose these “lives” and have to start way back or watch another glitchy video to stay where you are. Sure, you already know the answers, but it still sets you back for time.

Other than that, this game is fun, it’s just the unnecessary animations and glitches that bring it down to four stars. If you’re considering getting this game, please do! It’s a good time killer and a fun way to challenge your brain.

But please add more I have to settle for 111 but I love this game I really do but after that I have to go into another game but sometimes those games cost money so it is really really hard so please please give me more levels because it’s really really it’s a really really good game but it’s hard and it’s it’s a very good game but add more levels because I love all of the levels but it’s getting easier and easier getting all the answers so please add more levels because I love I love Lala blah blah blah blah blah the game I mean I also don’t love it because I have to get another game and they cost money mullah and if you don’t I mean I was at least give me an answer of why you can add more levels

So, it’s cute and the puzzles are entertaining. That’s the good part. It also gives you plenty of free coins, which is also good. You can buy coins via IAP but I found it wasn’t necessary at all.

It gives you 120 mins of playing time which got me through about 75% of the puzzles. I didn’t play straight through, but rather little bits of time over several days. When you’re out of time, it wants you to upgrade to Tricky 2 for $1.99, which is basically unlimited access to the EXACT SAME puzzles in the free version. Or you can pay coins to get another 20 mins of play time, which of course will run down your fake coin bank in order to make you purchase coins. I get it, they need to make some money, but it’s annoying.

If Tricky 2 was tons of new puzzles, then I’d be giving this 5 stars and recommending it to you wholeheartedly, because I like these little brain benders, far better than most other games. But as it is....I’ll likely be deleting it soon.

This game is relatively enjoyable even though it has some drawbacks. The gameplay is rather fun but mostly too simple or too complex, no in between. There is clues and solutions also but they require the games currency and increase as you get further in the game which is unpleasant but not unreasonable if it doesn’t go overboard.( using almost 100 coins for an easy solution)It has multiple repetitive levels, almost exactly the same as the former levels they replicate. Several levels aren’t puzzles, some are for example just basic math. The goal is to finish 111 levels before 120 minutes, however, once you reach the time limit you cannot continue unless you use in game currency; although this game provides free currency it is on a timer(ex. 30 minutes for 20 coins) that progressively increases during gameplay. There is options to get free currency through videos or using social media but they are limited. Without these issues the game would be much more entertaining and playable.

Well let me tell you. So I was playing the game when a little notification popped up and said,”Rate us 5 stars and get 150 coins instantly.” That doesn’t mean give them five stars as long as you rate them at least one they’ll give you the coins. I mean I get it TrickyTest2 wants good ratings so more people download it, but that doesn’t mean bribe us so we give it a good rating. It’s my opinion but I don’t think that’s a good thing it might be for if you want coins but... I don’t know. And I think if I want to give it a good rating I can do it on my own, not that it’s a bad app. So other than that it’s a really good app. So 4 stars from me, cause I love TrickyTest2 but that bothered me. Something good about it is that it makes you use your brain. Overall good game.😌

I liked this game a lot because the questions were quite original compared to other games so it was very fun. I did buy and spend lots of coins but a lot of the time the answer was obvious if you just thought deeply, so that’s on me. Videos do pop up every few completed stages but it’s really not that bad because they’re skippable for the most part. I like that you could revive hearts by watching a video and rewinding a stage because watching an ad is easy and doing the last few stages over again is easy because you already know the answers. This game didn’t give me any problems and it was a great time waster. TrickyTest2 isn’t like the other Brain Tester apps!

This game really test your creativity and overall ability to literally think outside the box its so much fun! My only complaint is that it takes forever to get new questions which is understandable considering the questions rarely repeat if ever like most “tricky games”. I hate seeing post that say it’s frustrating or too hard. Like what do you expect? The game is designed for you to think about unconventional ways to get the answer it’s not like these other games that just give it to you. By no means am i a rocket scientist or am trying to make myself out to be one i get stuck on the occasional quest and my husband or coworkers have to help me but that just makes it a better game. Definitely worth getting.

I love TrickyTest2 it provides a good easily challenging questions it’s a really good game and I see it as a multi million dollar game for all ages I will be going to tell all of my friends about this game I find no problems in this game but I think that in the studious of this game should make “tricky test two” should be free for the next few weeks so it would be installed more than after the few weeks of the game generating more popularity of these few weeks put it back on for money other than that I see no problems in the scheme and I would definitely say is a game for all ages I will be showing and telling my friends to download it thank you for your time goodbye😋 I hope you see my comments😏

I could not put this game down although I wanted to through the iPad against the wall a few times. Wait, that might have been one of the solutions. The answers are totally out of the box and unexpected, so if you think it, try it. My only negative is that when you run out of lives, it makes you go back three puzzles to redo them, but doesn't show you the solution to the puzzled you lost on. Also, the clue tab pops up at the bottom, but I have not been able to get it to work. Maybe there is a buy option? This is the free version offering in-app coins. If there is a version to buy were I can get clues and don't have to backtrack, the game will be perfect!

TrickyTest2 is very challenging. If you feel you are not being challenged enough this is TrickyTest2 for you!! I very much recommend TrickyTest2. It is sure to entertain anyone! 💗 A very cool app! No problems so far! 👍😀😜 I recommend it to anyone who wants to challenge their brain. 📱👍💯 100% good service so far. The only problem I have with it is that the grammar in it could use some work. Over all this is a pretty good app. The 100 questions challenge might take a while so you might want to take breaks in between.
