Great app!

It helps me and my family practice math. The multiplication questions only go up to 16 as the highest level, but it definitely works my mind at least (I had only learned the table up to 10). They have addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and mixed. They have 4 levels, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Extreme.

I have improved in doing math in my head quickly because of QuickMath’s flash card system. They also have avatars you win when you answer 400 questions on each level, and the avatars come with different music and it’s fun.

The only thing I would improve is the recognition of the handwriting, sometimes I will write a 5 perfectly fine and it won’t recognize it all, but that’s about it. It’s not that much of a pet-peeve for me and I’ve learned to work around it.

Great app!

I really like QuickMath , don’t get me wrong, but I wish that you didn’t have to pay to get the other types of math, like multiplication, or division, and you could do all the different kinds of math, without having to pay, so if you are reading this review just know, that you do have to pay for subtraction, division, and multiplication, but otherwise it’s a really good app, and it does teach you how to get better at math, and memorize multiplication facts and division facts, so overall it’s a really good app and I enjoy it!

Perfect if you are rusty

I really like QuickMath if you are not amazing at multiplication, addition, division, and subtraction. When I got QuickMath there were NO in app purchases, so I feel bad for the people who download QuickMath now. If you do decide to get QuickMath I recommend buying the whole pack because it can be VERY helpful for those of you out there that need to practice this stuff.

I really recommend QuickMath even though that for you there are in-app purchases.

P.S. never let in-app purchases get you down.

We love this!

First, I was wanting a simple, no fluff, quick thinking app for multiplication facts. Most of the math apps I found are very game oriented. Also, most the apps have multiple choice. Not things I wanted. QuickMath functions quick and love the sounds.

Second, the idiot with the one star review spouting how stupid QuickMath is, is an idiot. I don’t mind the $4 for QuickMath . I love supporting great development in apps!

I would love to purchase the clock app too but QuickMath Store said it needed an update for it to work with my iPad.

Needs Updating ASAP!

QuickMath used to be awesome. So Awesome that I purchased the 4 pack. But now that my phone updated itself to iOS 11, it does not work st all!! So I attempted to download the Quick Math app (the Blue original one) and restore my purchases and it refused!! It wants s me to pay for each of the apps separately in order to use them. If each app is updated to work w iOS 11, why isn’t the 4 pack updated to work w it as well? I thought this company was better than others and wasn’t a scam. I’m seeing that it’s not!! I have attempted to contact the developer directly but there is no way to do so. Thus, I am giving a poor review. If the developer updates the 4 pack, I will gladly update my review to a positive one. Otherwise this review will stand.

Very good!!

Why I rated it 4 star is because sometimes it can get a bit wacky with the writing like if you put in a number sometimes it will only show the last number and that’s makes it hard to know if your right or not. That’s all I had trouble with hopefully it will be fixed in the future!! (Also this is a very good learning game for me)

The best quick math app

Super smooth, clean interface. Works well with Apple Pencil or finger. Super intuitive interface, get going right away without messing with multiple settings and splash screens. Motivates the kid to compete with himself rather than others. Personal best records show improvement. Different avatars have fun new sounds- this gets him excited to practice more. Works offline, perfect for the car. Love love love QuickMath!!!

Not very good at reading out numbers.

My dad downloaded this to help me grow better in math, but personally I don’t think it works very well. It can never read your actual number, therefore making your time longer unnecessarily. I get that it can’t be perfect, especially because my “finger writing” isn’t very good. The only way to really make it better, would to be to add another mode where you can type in the umber instead of writing it out. Then if you want to type, there’s a mode for that. If you want to use your fingers, there’s a mode for that as well.

Wonderful app - Multisensory Mathematics

Great app to help students engage their fine motor skills. Physically writing out answers helps some students slow down to get the right answers. This is extremely helpful for an underserved portion of our students - those who need more physical interaction. While this isn’t all that multisensory mathematics entails it is a great supplement to working with students who need multisensory mathematics support.

Helping my kids,

I downloaded QuickMath as just a take a look since a lot of these apps aren't really helping. This one however has helped my two kids one which is in first grade and the other is in kindergarten, helps them with doing there math. My youngest one thinks it's a game trying to beat her best score. I recommend this and the price to unlock everything is very good as well.

Drawing Numbers?

The drawing mechanism is absolutely awful and barely works at all. It’s deeply frustrating trying to play this on a phone and I would not recommend this to anyone. If there were literally just the basic mechanism of typing in the answers then I’m sure this could be a great app. But people get QuickMath to practice their mental arithmetic, not to practice their handwriting. Drawing any number that has a closed loop in it, like a 6 or 9, is nearly impossible on a phone. I had QuickMath for all of 30 minutes before I immediately deleted it. Horrible design.

Highly recommend

First of all, I’m a teacher so I’m picky. I bought this for my third grader who is learning multiplication and my kindergartner who is working on addition. They both love it and WANT to do their math practice every day. It really helps my 5 year old make his numbers correctly. If you’re looking for a no nonsense app that focuses on skill practice, this is it.

Recommend to my students

As a 2nd/3rd grade math specialist, I am always recommending QuickMath to my students’ families. This is a great tool for students to practice number formation and to work towards mastery of their facts. Be sure they already understand their strategies and are fluent before working towards mastery. It eliminates the pressure of a timer and creatively motivates students to beat their own best time!!!

Ux needs work

The ux is bad. I can’t switch between users quickly. Some other way to input answers besides the handwriting would be nice. Also, sometimes my answer gets accepted before I am finished and it moves on to the next question and it messes up the next answer. It is hard to know what is your best record too. Your feedback prompt is broken so I had to put a review on QuickMath Store since I had already written a whole paragraph. Stats are not shared between iPad and iPhone.

Awesome!😁

This is a great game for kids to learn basic math. I like how you can write the answers. I also like that you are challenged to beat your high score. It challenges you to want to do better. There are no adds at all. The only thing I don’t like is how the only thing included in this game is addition. You have to pay for multiplication and division. This is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Overall, it is a great game!

Need an eraser

I am really enjoying this math practice. I’m an older adult and found my skills needed some brushing up. Only two frustrations, one, it doesn’t like the way I write a 5 and doesn’t recognize it, so I’ve had to relearn how to do something that I have done another way for umpteen years. Second, there is no eraser! That would help tremendously for various reasons.

Big difference in levels

This is a great app, fun to use, and works well.

It would be nice if there were a level between Beginner and Intermediate. Beginner gives us 0+, 1+ , 2+, 3+, 4+ facts. But then all of a sudden Intermediate Level jumps to 10+, 11+, 16+, etc. I wish Intermediate were all the single digit facts 5+, 6+, 7+, 8+, and 9+ with no double-digit numbers mixed in.

Great

This is a great app to get better at math. Although I don’t have all the upgrades, the addition practice is perfect for me. Thanks to the developers for making such a great app! Edit* Whenever I try putting a 9 down, it sometimes doesn’t recognize it. Could you guys fix this?

Fun but complaints

I love QuickMath soooo much but I hate that when u draw a number and it doesn’t know what number it is and I don’t like that I have more then one chance on each problem I think u should not let people just go over there mistakes I think at the end it shows u what u probably did wrong and gives u a little mini lesson

By

Best But Not Least

It helps me by getting my work done and makes me get smarter but the only problem is that the way I put the right answer it puts a different answer instead so it marks the right answer into a wrong answer. But still is the best app for math if you want to learn!

Downright Stupid

I downloaded QuickMath to get better at math because that’s the purpose of QuickMath . I get QuickMath and it’s so freaking stupid because I’m older and I’m a bit rusty on challenging multiplication/division problems so I click the mixed option and you can’t use it without in app purchases! It’s so dumb because you made this to help kids but you’re taking away their learning by having to pay for the stuff you’re actually going to use in life! I get it it’s just $4 if you buy them separately and $3 dollars if you buy the whole pack but still kids don’t have bank accounts and credit cards to pay with. Also a lot of the time I write my answers clearly and the stupid thing thinks that my 3 is a question mark or that 7 is 4! It’s so stupid! Don’t get QuickMath it is trash and a waste of time.

Timer

Would it be possible to add a feature to turn the timer off? My district has gone away from the “Timed tests” for their multiplication facts. I really like your app but my math coach said we can’t use it because of the timer. Having that option would be great.

Great for homeschool

I homeschool my 6 yo and 4 yo and this is perfect. We were doing standard paper work but this is so much more fun. I love that it teaches my 4 yo how to write the numbers correctly (and not backwards) they are learning so much quicker than they were before, plus no complaining or whining that they hate their homework! Seriously the best!

Love!

Love this AP. It teaches directionality of numbers as well as addition facts. It is so simple without any of the fluff other APs are so filled with that distract from basic learning. I don’t want my kids being rewarded with virtual objects. I want them to have the reward of beating their personal best and this AP does exactly that!

Quick math is effective and easy to use. We especially like the fact that it doesn’t show you the correct answer and gives the learner time to think things through.

Great! But...

I really love QuickMath except for one problem...
Whenever I try to write a ‘4’ QuickMath thinks that it is a ‘1’ or a ‘2’. I even trace the 4 it has in the problem and it still doesn’t work. Same with 9. 9 is either a 0 or 1. Same with the 4, I trace it and it still will not work. Other wise, Great app! Please read this comment and fix the glitch. Thank you!

A review on Quick Math

From my experience Quick Math was very enjoyable for a game about Math. It also helped to intellectually develop ones mind to become smarter in many different ways. Overall I think Quick Math is a very useful tool in making someone smarter

Good app

Excellent app - the handwriting makes it fun and easy to remember certain sums and products. What would be even more valuable is training on certain mental math techniques - systematic practice of multiplication tables, adding nines, multiplying two large numbers, mentally carrying a number, etc.
