VideoSlam - Instant Video Compilations from your Videos and Photos Reviews

I know VideoSlam hasn’t been updated in a long time, but I just want to say that this is and has been my go to for editing my family vacation videos! It’s super easy to use, and the resulting videos are SO cool! My fingers are crossed that the developers will come back to this because there’s honestly nothing else like it (believe me, I’ve searched for one just in case this disappears with the next iPhone update!)

So developers, if you’re still there, thanks for such an awesome app (and for free no less)! I would totally pay for an updated, but still awesome version of this!

Awesome but missing 2 very important options:

* You cannot select your own videos / photos. You can only select all videos/photos in the last hour, week, month, etc… If I want to pick which media I want in my video, I cannot.

* You cannot change the aspect ratio. I prefer vertical video for instagram & Snapchat. Sometimes I prefer 4:3. There is no such option; you can only produce video in 16:9.

These features aside, VideoSlam is THE BEST one I can find for creating quick media snippets…BUT these two necessary features really take away the usefulness of VideoSlam , for me.

What a great way to recall timeframes from the past. Would be nice to see an update with more features.

This is great to be used as a journal of a trip, a party, sport event..... Every moment in a flash !!

What makes this app a killer app for me is simple: I have literally several thousands of photos, most of which were taken decades before the iPhone was even an idea. I have since digitized them and made the all part of my library.

Having more than 100 GB of photos from decades of family growing up and world-traveling makes it a real challenge to take the time to go through them again. this app has allowed me to do just that in a fun, creative way and has found a way to remind me of all those wonderful moments and great times. And knowing the pictures the quick-review way of showing works amazingly well. I have already received “that is so cool” comments from family and friends I’ve shared videos with.

I have seen pictures I haven’t seen in several years!

Some apps are useful and others are fun. this app is actually both simultaneously.

As for the “rip-off” comment: LOLZ. It’s a FREE APP; worth every penny you paid for it. As for what it does: that’s pretty clearly explained in the description. And it does allow editing.

There is really no control over what you get from VideoSlam. You can only choose albums or preset groups of media, and the themes seem to only be different in what titles they display. You can’t produce anything without a watermark unless you pay for in app purchase, and it just doesn’t product anything useful.

I was hoping this would be different than the other video merging apps but it's not. It wouldn't let me merge videos unless I waited for my ENTIRE camera roll on iCloud loaded or if it just chose whichever recent vids it randomly selected. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong but I would not suggest VideoSlam. 😕

Got VideoSlam thinking it would take my pictures and actually make them into a movie with transitions, different backgrounds etc. but no it doesn't make nothing but a pathetic slide show with no editing or anything!! Adjusting the speed! Really!

After downloading this and selecting an album of photos (about 30 photos), VideoSlam just sat and chugged away without ever finishing. Now, 25 minutes later, it is still chugging away! VideoSlam is garbage, even for free VideoSlam isn't worth it!

Sorry VideoSlam doesn't work, it's keeps spinning and prepping a video. This needs more work.

Just a clone of the 300 apps and is horrible anyways.
