The Path to Luma - GameClub Reviews

This game was surprisingly good for the first few hours. A new device is introduced every couple of levels, adding a large amount of possibilities to the puzzles. Each puzzle is extremely well thought out, giving a great feeling of accomplishment once you finally discover the correct sequence of events for the solution. I have to commend the game for the great puzzle designs.

Despite all that, I chose not to finish this game. I quit after level 18 of 23. So why did I abandon the game? Several reasons...

The puzzles just seem to drag on. It just feels like you're doing the same thing over and over again with the only difference being that each level is more complicated than the last. There are also way too many levels that force you to walk back and forth across the level several times, and your character moves very slowly. There is also a 1 to 3 second animation every time you interact with something, and you interact with things a lot. So the game basically devolves from something enjoyable into a snorefest of constantly waiting for the game to allow you to progress.

I like this game a lot. It makes puzzles very interesting, unlike some puzzles. The worlds are very pretty and every one is unique in its own way. I really enjoy playing this game. It is very entertaining and enjoyable. That’s what most puzzles lack. I really hope they come out with more games like this one. If you want a entertaining game, then here it is. Of course some enjoy it and some don’t and that of course is because of the persons personality. If your the kind of person that likes an ongoing and challenging puzzle, than this game is for you.

Okay, good graphics.... If they worked! Sooooooo buggy. Game very unresponsive to touch such that you have to do some things 2 to 5 times to get them to work. Good puzzle concept, but kind of confusing.

As to their noble theme of alt energy? Ridiculous! Ludicrous! & Impractical! Ok, so they educate by showing different forms of energy production. However, it takes so much effort you couldn't produce enough food to provide the calories to the person creating the energy to even come close to the output. Oh but wait, the person is a robot. Don't need humans. Silly me. But seriously folks, it's true. And we are trying to find ways of removing dams, not create more, right? So not only am I frustrated with the game play, but trying to suspend my disbelief and get past get the concept is driving me crazy as well.

Worth a peak but make sure you have your zen relaxation tapes on back up.

Ok, I’m more of a global warming denier, but I was looking for a different puzzle game so I gave this one a try.
The graphics are cool. The music is new wave and peaceful. The game play is tedious cause you have to slowly walk back and forth. I like the fact that you touch the destination and your guy walks all the way there.
I haven’t noticed many bugs, I finished a level and it froze. When I restarted ThePathtoLuma I had progressed to the next level.
Here’s my -2 star gripe. I am stuck on this level that is rather long now for at least a week. Every time I get a text I have to answer when I return to the game, it starts ThePathtoLuma over from the beginning. Friggin annoying that it doesn’t pause when you app jump. It is literally the only app I’ve ever seen that does this. Wouldn’t be a big deal if the level wasn’t so long.

I absolutely love ThePathtoLuma. It's beautiful, the puzzles can be difficult, but they aren't frustrating, and it's quite addicting. And it has a nice message added to it as well, which in my opinion, makes it even better. The only thing I would recommend is to add more levels since I would love to play this more often! Otherwise, one of the best apps I've downloaded in a long time, and I highly recommend anyone to try it out!

Is there some reason why the web site states it's game has 20 levels, but in the Apps Store we are offered 10 ? The direction arrows could be eliminated ;thus, allowing the player to walk the course and be challenged. The arrows are what flicker and and block the players view.
I hope another game like this becomes available. Thanks

Somewhere around level 10, the interface completely disappears. When I leave ThePathtoLuma and then return, it's paused but the menu isn't there, it's just a frozen screen, and I have to restart. Also, when you finish level 10, you can't click on the next planet to progress because no play button appear over the planet; if you want to play the next level you have to do so by going to the main menu. This is a lovely, atmospheric game, but I can't give a high rating to a broken game

I really like this game but it only lets me play only 6 of the words or levels and I would like to play all the other levels. Also I know that usually it has a button that you can press that makes you pay a small amount to get other stages but there isn’t we tried to update the game but it didn’t do anything! That is why I have given you 4 stars instead of 5.

ThePathtoLuma is beautiful, creative, and fun at the same time! It explores environmental issues through puzzles and uses a variety of methods to find solutions. The artwork and graphics are amazing and the levels are creative. One thing is that the in general the levels are not challenging enough, though the most recent episode (23 i think) was very good.

Attractive graphics and smooth gameplay coupled with addictive brainteaser conquest create semi- challenging ecosystem of a game. It's certainty worth trying even if puzzles aren't your thing in my humble opinion it's a game that once you try it I don't think you'll delete it anytime soon... At least not until you beat it 5 stars

The game looks like it can be very fun, but the space they give you to tap something is very small. If this could be made bigger so that it is easier to activate, or if there is a zoom action, maybe by dragging two fingers away from each other to go in, and dragging them closer to zoom out. It's hard to play otherwise.

I loved this game! It has beautiful graphics, a strong message, and the game itself is delightful! I didn't experience any bugs at all. MAKE A PART TWO!! ❤️❤️❤️ The levels make you think and are so satisfying to complete! This game was exactly what I was looking for. This is such a gorgeous game, and just the right amount of challenging.

Unlike others, I haven't had problems with glitching or crashing (iPhone 6 and iPad Mini 2, both on iOS 9.1)

The game has a great message, as well. Can't wait for more levels.

This game is downright beautiful from the graphics to the soundtrack <3 I liked playing it and it's not too difficult to solve but I did get stuck on the later levels. Would play again ^.^

I loved this game so much and I beat the entire thing within 2 days of downloading. The images and graphics are so beautiful and the message being told is so inspiring as well. Would definitely recommend for people who love puzzles.

I’ll admit that I’m not usually one for puzzle games such as this, but somehow this one really managed to drag me in. The imagery is beautiful, and the puzzles are interesting, although a little repetitive. Definitely worth a play.

It's a pretty fun, time consuming game with challenging puzzles and peaceful tunes plus no ads! I would love to see even more challenging levels and abilities with the upcoming updates.

This is a fun game that carry a good message, beautiful art work and music making it ever more enjoyable! We need more games like this! A good step in the right direction. Very well done!!!

Path to Luma is an amazing game with beautiful geometric designs, a pleasant feel, a great little story and mind-boggling puzzles. The only downsides are that the game sometimes lags and there is no zoom in/out option. Wonderful over all.

Its a new concept game. Really good.
I hope they get more attention from gamers and I also hope for new better levels.
