KingHunt - The Next Generation Slicing Game Reviews

I noticed everyone in the reviews complaining about not knowing what the "gems " are for well ill tell u!!! they are used to complete bonus levels (the light house in the middle) you need so much of a certain colour to play for the bonus items. I figured that out the first time i played. It wasn't hard to figure that out!!!! The stars are when your meter on each level reaches the top as you are playing thats how i earned my stars the better your score each time the more stars you'll fill up! I have half stars left on each level and what happens after...... Idk guess ill find out. This game is just a more relaxed version of fruit ninja a more time passer i agree with that but i still enjoy it and if i don't want to pull my hair out because i missed a stupid fruit on fruit ninja an just want to be calm zen i play this an recommend it as well!!

Its a fun game but theres so many bugs! Sometimes im playing a level and the enemies can hit bombs instead of ME! The meteors detonate bombs as well. Enemies also hit you after you kill them and when your trying to do a combo, it lags out the last item so you dont get that in it. And most of the time i have to rub my finger constantly over gems to get them. Its a fun game but obviously needs repairs i suggest fruit ninja instead... At least there you have smooth graphics, you dont have glitches, money means something, you raise points to earn things in real life, you can choose your sword, you can choose a game mode, and plus they sell things at stores. They also have a better theme instead of slicing racist little people. Notice they all have kinkey eyes just like asians. Most of the levels dont make sence anyways. I didnt know people slice cake at the bottom of the sea. Why are you people even giving 5 star reveiws? You must be new to KingHunt store

You see,I can tell what this game is is not a ripoff,but a very great game because I really like how there is regeneration when you don’t lose an entire heart,and fruit ninja does not do that.
another reason why this is not a ripoff is because fn has two currencies which used to be star fruit and golden apples (not a Minecraft reference). And then changed to coins and gems.
However,the currency in king hunt,unlike fn, the currency is different colored gems and you have to get gems in order to do bonus levels but fruit ninja basically uses currency for everything,sometimes ads,and so what I like really about this is that this game does not have ads,but really needs an update,really.

But I wish there was more... Like more stuff to earn and that sort of thing like mini games ( like baking for the baker boss and protecting princess or something for the Knights one, and then like wrapping mummies for the mummy one) lol idk but overall it's a really fun and addicting game but after a while there were no islands that popped up and I was confused! I think that it is overall a tiny bit better in graphics then fruit ninja ( IKR GASP) but you should be able to have the choice to buy stuff too kinda like fruit ninja and like a character ( idk ) but I really like this game and hope that there will be more like it :)

Overall the games Graphics are awesome. The slicing is smooth. The game is addictive & easy to play. PROBLEM: I'm never sure what the challenge is. I've got all gold guys in each area, but what does that mean? I've read online there are 10 challenges per world? I wish somebody would explain what the challenges are. Or is the challenge just slicing? I get the entire gem thing. Green Gems seem to be rarest. The bonus level never changes. I guess I'm just trying to improve my score there. Good game - lack of instruction overall gives you only 4 Stars.

I can't even beleive there's something so awesome in KingHunt store! I downloaded it thinking I'll just be deleting it fifteen minutes later, but after I tried it I was blown away. This game is far better than any slicing game I've ever seen. Fruit ninja? Forget it. This game beats it by far. in fruit ninja, you just sit there sliding your finger across the screen so you can unlock some stupid swords or whatever. In this game, the graphics are fenominal and there are far more features, such as goals, enemies, the list can go on forever! So stop wasting your time, go slice up some fruits!

I used to play this game every once in a while, it's fun, not addicting but not boring enough so you end up deleting it. But today, it started to load then half way through the sheep baaing, it stops and leaves. I can't get back on. I might as well delete it.
And the gems seem unnecessary and the trophies you win from the castle do too. And when you get extra health is should fill past the three hearts.

Might be because Fruit Ninja bored me, but I like this game. However indication as to what I'm slicing for would be nice, like the three little bubbles that come up once you defeat the king, just pop up at random I never know what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. A story line would be awesome especially when it comes to gems, because I collect them through either defeating a king or simply shaking cities with my finger which is helpful but then again not. More development is crucial.

Well I didn't think there could ever be a predecessor to fruit ninja that would be the same style of game and would actually be good but they've done it. Not only have they done it but I can't believe it but I can actually say that it is in fact way, way better then fruit ninja. There's objectives, treasures to collect, bosses to beat, and the variety of the sliceable items is absolutely amazing. If you liked fruit ninja then you will absolutely love this game. This is a must own. Awesome game definitely worth the money.

Personally, I think this is pretty fun. However, it can be a bit confusing at times and therefore could do with a bit more explanation. Additionally, there aren't very many levels and getting all stars on each level + getting all artifacts seems pointless, tedious, and time-consuming. It can also be very frustrating at times due to large amounts of enemies all attacking at once before you even have time to react, cheaply placed bombs, bombs spamming the screen, etc. Overall, not bad, but could be better.

I love this game! I think it's a lot of fun. I would really like some kind of information about the game like what the gems are for and different ways to collect them. Also maybe some guidance that tells you how to advance through the game, would be nice! A way to know what the goals are and what the trophies are and maybe a pause button would help! I really do love hrs game. These are things that would make a great game even better!!

It has potential to be a better game than it is. It's very confusing. You collect gems with no indication of what they're for, you go to boss fights with 3 goals that have question marks unless unlocked but you don't know what you're supposed to accomplish. Letting people know makes them motivated to keep trying to get them. The levels have stars on them but no indication how to get the 5 stars. No upgrades to you for later levels. And then once you get to the Chef no conclusion. It seems like it's incomplete.

King Hunt is a great game. I love the graphic the butterflies! (Sneaky) they are too pretty to slice. Lol I love everything about the game. The five star system took a moment to understand but my favorite part is the boss! Such a awesome concept. Aesthetically pleasing as well as fun! Can't wait for power ups! Spending the gems would be lots of fun! Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for tiring my right. My right is tone from holdin' my babygyrl!

Went into this having not read any reviews thinking okay this is like fruit ninja, which I've played for years. I found it very confusing (I'm only one the 4th level? Levels or stages, I'm still confused). I would like to have had a tutorial explaining what to do because I originally just was swiping the food items. Still not sure if I'm supposed to swipe at everything or not. Would be much improved with a tutorial explaining the point values, power ups, jewels, etc. Great graphics!

This Fruit Ninja clone turns out to be just that, if not less.

The main thing that makes Fruit Ninja a good game is the fact that if something falls you lose the level, making you come back for more, on top of the ability to unlock new things and new ways to enjoy the game making your progress worth it.

This game not only removes that challenge, it also mitigates things by making it painfully easy to kill stuff and making your combos mean basically nothing throughout the entire round. It's not charming and feels more like a classic button masher, except with swiping instead.

On top of this, there is nothing unlock and no progress that really means anything. All the levels are basically the same, minus the occasional bomb puzzle that you have to deal with. You collect gems that show up but don't do anything other than look fancy.

I'll pass.

I like the game. It's fun, entertaining, and passes the time well. I feel like I missed something in the tutorial or whatever. Like what are the gems and coins for? And there should be a way to see the challenges on the levels; the symbols don't really tell me much more than it has something to do with coins or hearts. Who know, maybe it'll be explained later in the game.

Yeah, it's kind of a copy of FruitNinja. But KingHunt is really awesome. The graphics are cool, there's quite a few levels, and the game is very addicting. The only thing I don't like about this game is the story. There is obviously a detailed story for this game because of the "bosses on each level" and the random chef. But Mountain Sheep doesn't really do a good job of explaining it. Overall a great app worth downloading.

Really great gameplay awesome UI. In dire need of an update and additional levels to play it feels .. Unfinished. Also during gameplay when you get extra health on top of what you have already it doesn't go anywhere.. There should be a place for it or it should add a heart. Also I don't really see the purpose of the 100 trinkets you can collect. I think they should at least give you a power of some sort or assist. Major room for growth but on the right track so far.

This game has the super addictive slicing action, however, there is absolutely no tutorial or direction at all, not even a help/FAQ section and it is desperately needed. I have also had problems with KingHunt crashing as others have stated. If anyone has figured out what the gems are for or any of the other unexplained things, please elaborate for the rest of us. Developers, please listen to your reviewers and issue a tutorial so we can all give you 5 stars!!

It's a great game, don't get me wrong, but it seriously needs updating. I've had it since around the time of its release and it served me lots of fun on my iPod Touch 4, but when I upgraded to the iPod Touch 6, the touch controls got wonky and the screen rotated at random times. Otherwise it's a pretty neat game.

EDIT: Needs to be updated for iOS 11. I’ve been wanting to play for a while but I can’t even download it due to the restrictions Apple has placed.
