WeddingHappy - Wedding Planner Reviews

My betrothed and I are attempting to have the wedding of our dreams on the budget of our nightmares. We have been using WeddingHappy for about 2 weeks, and thus far it has been a humongous help. We are confident that we can have the wedding which we want without breaking the bank through the combination of WeddingHappy and the Marry Me catalog (another priceless tool for budget-conscious DIYers). And we have had none of the problems mentioned by others. We have multiple vendors for catering, jewelry, & apparel with no problems; and adding, editing & deleting tasks is no problem either. We highly recommend WeddingHappy.

It's a great app to help you check off items from your To-Do list! Lots of things I like: The ease of adding and editing the budget and tasks, and the percentage complete versus tasks yet to do to help feel like your accomplishing things. It's nice to see how far you still have to go. I love the price per guest breakdown, and that you can combine your own calendar to WeddingHappy . things I wish could be different: customize/add your own type for the vendor (the pre"sorted" vendor list used for the budget, so many of my tasks are associated with "other" which can be confusing for whom ever is helping me through WeddingHappy) - this one is particularly frustrating because i have different budget break downs than what WeddingHappy will allow. I would be nice to be able to add guest list and keep track of rsvps.

WeddingHappy definitely made planning the wedding much simpler. It worked well in my non-USD currency and allowed for new to-dos and notes to be in other languages, when needed.

It was so helpful to keep track of spending, to see per person values, and what had been spent already. WeddingHappy is intuitive to use, and pleasant to the eye.

I found it challenging that I couldn't mark tasks as "in progress", and the default to-dos were not exactly right for us. I would have loved to have been asked a few more questions on set-up to help populate the to-do list with relevant to-do's, so that from the start I would have had a better sense of what needed to be done when opening WeddingHappy .

LOOK NO FURTHER! After being stressed out by never ending nonsense with The Knot and other online planning tools, I found WeddingHappy. It is simple to use, intuitive, and has kept my planning and budget completely in line!!! It also kept me enjoying wedding planning instead of dreading and stressing, which is definitely a miracle.
Love that it has most of my vendors searchable and easy to add them if not. LOVE having my wedding countdown in my notification drop down!!! I only have the "free" access, but if I had a parent or friend helping with planning, the extra app fee is fair and worth it and would have gladly paid it.

The first month of being engaged, I was trying to stay focused on what I had to do next, but I felt so scatterbrained with everything going on that I couldn't handle being unorganized. WeddingHappy SAVED ME! You can schedule what needs to be done when (and be notified about your task), schedule payments, have all vendors' contact information in one place, see where you are with your budget, and get excited the moment you open WeddingHappy when you see how many days until you're hitched! If you're thinking about trying WeddingHappy out, don't hesitate! You'll be SO grateful you did!

What I absolutely love about WeddingHappy is the fact that it bases your timeline on your wedding date and not your engagement date. I’ve been so stressed by another wedding planning app that had based my timeline on my engagement date (which was 3 years before my actual wedding). It had me so stressed and screwed up because I was “behind” on so many things. How could I be behind before I even get started?

WeddingHappy is GREAT! As soon as you enter your wedding date, it informs you when your deadlines are. It has a budget feature where you can put in your budget and how much everything costs. You can also enter how much you owe each vendor (which you can also enter with contact info and such!) and check it off as you pay. I definitely recommend WeddingHappy to EVERYONE, as I've already recommended to my sister and a few friends!!! It has made my planning SOOOO much easier and less stressful!

My wedding is a little over a year away, but WeddingHappy is really helpful. I like that it tracks the payments you've made and the budget. That is helpful. I also like that I can put in each vendor and add or subtract my own tasks. I cross referenced this timeline to one I found online to make sure I had everything I needed. It's also good that they suggest deadlines, but that you can edit the timeline too. I have found this very helpful and the fact that it is free is the best part!

I was able to keep easy track of all of my vendors, and track all the payments and tasks with a timeline! It really kept me on track! My only criticism is that the search for vendors could be improved. I had to do a lot of manual entering. If the search was able to pick up more vendors from the knot or weddingwire that would be way better. I did love however that I could invite my fiancé and we both could edit tasks and keep track. With WeddingHappy and a good spreadsheet you won't need any help wedding planning!

This was the only app I could find that keeps you organized with payment dates and remaining balances to vendors not just tasks! I would suggest to dump yelp as a connecting search engine for vendors information. The results contain maybe half the vendors in the city and it's very annoying to type in all the info. Also the tasks for vendors is not as complete as other apps. But I just been adding the missing ones myself, as my main reason for using WeddingHappy is to track payments and spending.

I love the flexibility of WeddingHappy. You can add in all the vender info you want (even if it's just you or your relative doing it). It was nice that it already had the main tasks loaded and you could just delete ones that didn't apply to your situation instead of having to add everything. It did a good job of spreading out the tasks, although most were due too early for me to complete; I think just because I downloaded WeddingHappy over a year before my wedding.

My wedding was on June 24th, 2017. WeddingHappy was indispensable to planning my wedding. I was very impressed by how easy to operate the system was. Also, it allowed my mom and bridesmaids to see my to do list and keep track of what was due when. I loved using WeddingHappy. WedHappy allowed me to keep track of spending and has a feature for multiple payments. The notifications kept me on target and worry free. I could never have been this organized with carrying a huge binder and paper around.

WeddingHappy is wonderful. I love how it gives categories for each item as your planning. You can even delete certain tasks if your not going to have them at your wedding. For instance I'm not having a videographer so I deleted that task. You can even upload contacts of your phone to the vendors list so they're all in one place. Plus u can even add payments and totals an it will deduct as you continue to pay for your wedding stuff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

WeddingHappy is very helpful! I like how the tasks are organized. It often has a task scheduled to remind you to do some research on a topic or vendor before the task for booking that vendor shows up, which is helpful. The budget/payment/vendor organization is the best I've seen. It makes it very easy to see how much you've spent and how much you've committed to spending (helpful for when you have paid deposits but not full balance yet). I'd recommend it anyone getting married and trying to organize everything on their own.

WeddingHappy is good for just about any scenario. If you have a planner it's great but if you won't be using a planner it's just as great because everything is laid out for you. My wife Camille and I used it to plan our wedding and even though we were in two different countries, we were always up to date with the latest updates. We could also chat in WeddingHappy which was a plus. The only negative I have is that I wasn't able to see a guide on what percentage should be spent on each category.

Overall great app.

WeddingHappy is intended to keep DIY wedding planning on track and that is just what it did. My daughter could hardly stand it because I kept presenting deadlines but we acted based on the suggested dates (backed up from the wedding date) and everything was done and done on time. Wedding is in the books but I'm hanging on to WeddingHappy for younger sister.

Two years later and guess what! Using WeddingHappy for the younger sister :) WedHappy makes things go so much more smoothly.

This has made my planning process stress free!! I had 10 months to plan while in grad school and working! As such I didn't want to be stressed and anything I could get done early I got done. WeddingHappy does a great job pacing what tasks need to get done while still allowing you to make any changes necessary in your timeline of events or tasks that either needed to be done or have been completed. I would recommend WeddingHappy to all future brides...and grooms.

Im so glad I found WeddingHappy. Its is definitely a life saver. So easy to use. So great at tracking your payments, vendors, and overall budget. WeddingHappy allows you see your wedding budget big picture like literally how much you spend per guest NOT per plate. Its very easy to add other users to plan with you aka your fiancé. It includes a wedding checklist so that you can stay on top of things. And the customer service is amazing. 100% recommend.

My fiancé and I got engaged Nov 2017. I looked up a lot of apps before deciding on this one. We’re getting married on a pretty tight budget so I wanted something that would help me organize all the things that need to happen, along with helping me maintain the budget. I love the flexibility of WeddingHappy to add and change, make payments, add vendors, and anything else that I come across. If you’re DIYing your wedding, WeddingHappy will be a great assist.

With 6 month to plan a wedding I needed help. WeddingHappy keep me on track. The task list help you to prioritize what need to be done first. And if your life is as busy as mine, WeddingHappy is like your wedding assistant. In just two month I already have the: Venue, Dress, Decorator, Music, Wedding Coordinator, Invites... Why? Because every time I opened WeddingHappy and in the task list saids: as soon as possible, I knew i have to move and get things done.
