Zultys Mobile Communicator Reviews

I answer the support line for a software company so I need to be able to answer any and all calls, you know, like a phone does?
Zultys regularly prevents me from answering calls or “glitches” so that a call pops up for a millisecond then disappears, even though the person is still calling.
Additionally, much of our staff are working from home now due to COVID19 and need to be able to answer their extensions at home and Zultys behaves as above mentioned, or worse. One coworker, who covered support during my lunch shift, was muted for no apparent reason, no matter what we did. Her last day was yesterday, however, so that issue is no longer a problem.
We have set up basically an internal grievance email for Zultys alone. Please update quickly as it is impeding our ability to work.

Use Zultys all the time. No need for DND button when I can set my presence to unavailable. I am able to login and out of groups with out an issue. Will say I did notice If on cell network it is important you have a good signal others wise bouncing in and out if LTE could create an issue. 👍👍

It would be nice if there was a way to pause receiving calls through Zultys (like Do Not Disturb on the desktop phone). I have on more than one occasion been in the middle of something in another app (like recording video) only to have this app take over the phone (and stop my recording). Also, if I don’t want to take a call I have to wait until the person hangs up because if I decline the call, 9 times out of 10 the person calls right back.

Zultys is by far one of the best apps I ha e used so user friendly and do things like log out of groups to not take calls just like the desk phone can’t express the ease of use on Zultys enough. Thanks this app never felt more comfy working from home

I’ve been using this for a few months now. I’ve gathered that I’m better off to send a carrier pigeon and would probably get more reliable results.

The calls will drop for any reason, in areas with strong WiFi, 5G signal, it doesn’t seem to matter. Zultys will either crash or the call will just drop for no given reason. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and Zultys won’t even let you know someone is calling.

I hope someone from this company wakes up and realizes their app is terrible. They need to redo the whole thing and test more.

If you are considering this app, stay away for this mobile app is just terrible. UDP, TCP, advanced options, it all just doesn’t improve anything.

App gives me access to all of the features I have on my phone and computer at the office. I can make and answer business calls without ever compromising my personal cell phone number! I can even log into call groups remotely. Love it!

I’ve used several of these smartphone VoIP apps over the years and I’m very impressed with this one. It’s very similar to their desktop app and works better than any other mobile app I’ve ever seen. They deserve 5 stars.

Love Zultys works great allows me to be connected matter where I’m at. I like the record capability because I can record and he called them on from my mobile device it’s easy to use

If I sign out of Zultys , it takes over an hour to sign back in. I have to sign out because regardless what my status is I still get calls. God forbid I try to use WiFi, calls are dropped or Zultys doesn’t connect. Ridiculous. It’s hard to work from home or the weekends when you never know if Zultys will work.

Working remotely I can answer and transfer calls to co-workers I see who are available from their status.

I install this app phone systems frequently. Zultys works well if the phone system and network are correctly configured.

I can be on a call and the the call just disconnects. I work for an billing office. At times I use Zultys to make calls. I can be on a call and Zultys just crashes and the call is disconnected. Sometimes it takes hours of hold time to get in touch with certain companies. Please fix it.

This is app is next to useless. I travel for work on a regular basis. The call quality is scratchy at its best. Zultys regularly disconnects and requires a re-login. This happens during calls. Even with full cell phone LTE signal Zultys does not connect or answer calls. Zultys is just more trouble than it is worth.

Works sometimes and not others, sporadically for users. I have been unable to hear callers today and they have not been able to hear me. Worked fine for days, now this. Some people don’t experience this issue at all. Very inconsistent.

Zultys is great for allowing me to step away from my desk yet still stay connected...great for remote working!!!

Once I sign in, I receive all calls even after logging out. Also half the time the calls I pick up I can’t hear (seems like no one on the other end). Looks like I’m not the only one with the issue from talking to my colleagues.

With latest iOS 13.2 Zultys will occasionally answer a call but can’t hear the caller and have to switch App from Local to Remote mode and back again to get it to work. Reportedly our MX Server is all up to date so something is not right

We have had a significant about of feedback regarding the mobile app. The end user have calls that drop or can’t be heard when talking. Any updates to Zultys coming?

My phone will stop ringing, even though an incoming call is still there. Zultys will drop calls when I’m talking to people.

Still needs a lot of work.

The service is horrible I went all day without getting a call. Restarted Zultys several times and nothing. Not understand why this keeps happen in 2020

Seamless communication with people in my office, love that I can IM and see status of my fellow employees!

Lots of great improvements. I just wish it could act as a remote controller for MXIE on the desktop. At work I walk around the building with a wireless headset on. If I could answer on that wireless headset and use Zultys for call control, that would be excellent. Instead, I have to answer on my iPhone, and if I go back to my desk and want to swap back to desktop, I have to park the call and pick it back up. It would be nice if I could either control what MXIE/desk phone is doing, or at least switch the call between the two apps without having to park/pick up.

Amended to 3 stars, because I just realized that my Apple Watch simply ignores incoming this app softphone calls. Would be great if it actually vibrated/integrated to Apple Watch.

I’d really like it if they could expand notifications on the Apple Watch. My previous Fitbit would buzz whenever I would get incoming calls, which was helpful when I was walking around the office. I could just go straight to someone’s office while they were calling me.
Also, and more important, when I log off, I still get phone calls. Almost everyone in our office has uninstalled Zultys because they can’t get Zultys to stop ringing even when logged off. This is the fatal flaw.

This is a good start but needs a few features and adjustments to be a five star app. My feedback is below

1) Voicemail - seems like a necessary feature to listen to my mx250 voicemails

2) Sounds - the sound choices are not really professional. There should be more options or at least tie into the sounds we use for our regular iPhone.

3) Usability - look and feel -
Seems like it needs a GUI designers touch ... To log out I need to click on my availability and then on the top right I see an arrow left button.. No real way of knowing what it does... So things are there but really hard to
decipher...

4) mxmeeting integration - this may really not pertain to this particular app but this app needs to have mxmeeting work on iphone or ipad.

I use Zultys for work while our new phone lines are being laid in. All in all, it does everything it needs to, but there are definite improvements that could be made. Considering it’s a free app with no ads, I can only complain so much.

- voicemail deletion is needlessly tedious. A simple “Dump All” button in the deleted voicemail screen would streamline this swimmingly.

-even when “Away” or “in a meeting”, calls still come through on the ringer. It would nice to put them right through to voicemail.

-have had minor issues with Zultys logging out while making a call, but nothing too serious.

It might not be the most polished app but for the cost while do what you want it too.

For those of you that have Zultys crash - you must update MXIE on your home server. I had the same app crash issue but after MXIE on home server was fixed, Zultys worked again. Great new features like voice mail and you can log into different roles. Well Done!

I’ve been using Zultys with no problems for a year and over the last few weeks my notifications have just stopped working. I only am notified of a new message or call if I have Zultys open and active on my screen, despite having my notification settings set to the highest level. Very frustrated

This update has sucked. The last software worked awesome. I was able to log in-get calls and messages and since the new update Zultys won’t even open! Not sure what happened but Zultys has totally crashed and doesn’t work!!! Wish they would fix it so I can go back to using Zultys -it was super helpful to have it and now it’s a waste of a download!!! If I could give it no stars I would!!! Thumbs down!!!

If you want to stay connected while your out of the office I highly recommend this product. It really helps enhance your this app system. As someone who travels regularly I can't live without it.

Zultys has come full circle from 1 year ago and I’m able to use it with confidence.

After thIs latest upgrade, the usability greatly improved! Congrats guys for the new version... Keep it up!
