MyProjects LITE Reviews

I am checking out over 10 other apps for organization, and this one stands out from the rest. I am using an ipad2 and I have had no problems with crashing. I was so impressed with it, I already purchased the full version. If you want something simple that will get the job done in a major way, this is MyProjectsLITE for you. I feel MyProjectsLITE is made more for the average person, with home, school and work projects. As much as I like MyProjectsLITE I don't feel it is robust enough to use for corporate projects. (Maybe I am wrong!) But for the rest of us, you will find it a pleasure to work with. The part that impresses me the most is how MyProjectsLITE is set up so you can see what projects are due in so many different ways using the filters. It does come with a guide, you just have to press the (i) button, located throught MyProjectsLITE . Try the free version first, spend a little time with it by starting your own mini to do list, and as you play around with it you will see how friendly it really is.

MyProjectsLITE seems to have all the basic elements I need to keep track of smaller scale projects and assignments. However, THERE IS NO SAVE OR DONE BUTTON WHEN CREATING A TASK! I have discovered a workaround. If I cancel out of the task, then try to reenter it, once I add a contact, MyProjectsLITE will crash, I reopen it, and Presto, my task is there. I can't see a way to contact the developers, so I am putting this info in the review in the hopes they will see it. I would really like to be able to use MyProjectsLITE, and would gladly pay for the upgrade if they would fix this glaring issue.

I've used the lite version for a few days to help me manage a few projects I was recently assigned. Myprojects is easy to use, I like the inbox as a way to enter To Dos quickly, then assign them to the appropriate project and add details later.

I havent had any crashes or any difficulites. I will purchase the full app but just have to figure out how to move my data over without having to re-enter my projects and tasks.

I like this idea of GTD, and want to use this my main project management, but before I decide to buy, I want to get experience of it.

I've installed it, and whenever I add a project or inbox ones, it keeps crashing in random. Hope next version would be stabled. Until I see it is stabled, I want to defer to buy one.

MyProjectsLITE crashes practically every time I tap a button. fix it.

It's everything one really needs to manage multiple projects at once but also very simple to use. Only one thing that is stopping me from purchasing the full version, the crashing issue. Yes it keeps on crashing. I'll keep on checking back for a fix but won't promote MyProjectsLITE until the crashing issue has been resolved.

Had a looking interface but froze upon deleting a task every time.

The top line of data is inaccessible on every screen - it hides under the top nav bar. So I cannot even enter a project name.

As someone who has been continuously frustrated by other GTD-like apps like Nozbe, MyProjectsLITE is great. I love that you can have a checklist on a Task so I don't have to create a separate task for every 10 minute action and can manage things at a higher level. Linked/Parent tasks, projects, contexts, tags all make it easy for just about anyone to manage their work.

Things missing:

- The ability to export a PDF or send a nicely formatted email will all task details (including checklist) would allow me to create a project and then just send tasks to team members making this a simple lightweight project management tool.

- Sync with a hosted service would be great, web application, etc.

- Ability to set actual time and actual cost so I can track actuals vs. estimates

- Export a summary list of project/category/tag/person or generate a report so values like actuals vs. estimates can be crunched in a spreadsheet

I am looking for an application like this to assist in my busy life....however, I installed MyProjectsLITE and it keeps crashing after I add a new task. I have a IPhone 4 with the lastest updated software and I restarted the phone... NOTHING...am I the only one having this issue...is there a setting in the phone I need to change.I like the interfaces and the design of MyProjectsLITE but I can't use it. I deleted....WOW....too cad...I would have bought the PRO version...

I downloaded and used this for a couple of days. Every time I do an up or down swipe MyProjectsLITE exits out. This behavior is not consistent with other apps I use so it leads me to assume it's got issues.

I like the layout and the workflow. Feels like it will be very useable once an update comes out. It's promising so I will keep it and hope that an update fixes the weirdness. Until it's updated though I can't use it so it will just sit.

MyProjectsLITE is nice because it can be very simple or be complex, depending on your needs and the task. Unfortunately there's a bug right now where it crashes. If I contact the developer and they fix the issue I'll consider buying the full version.

App is a great simple project tool. As a PM I needed something simple to take with me however when I try to add a resource from the exchange contacts instead of my local contacts MyProjectsLITE crashes, if they fix this I will change my rating

Terrific application! Used it for two days and decided to upgrade to Pro version.
