About A Blackjack Card Counter

But if you can keep count of the number of High and Low ranked cards in the pack you can gain a small advantage.

Hi-Op II - Low cards 2, 3, 6 and 7 (add 1 to total) 4 and 5 (add 2 to total).

Hi-Op I - Low cards 3, 4, 5, and 6 (add 1 to total).

Hi-Lo - Low cards 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (add 1 to total).

Omega II - Low cards 2 and 3 (add 1 to total) 4, 5 and 6 (add 2 to total).

For each strategy press the button that contains the face value of the cards as they are drawn from the deck.

High cards 10, J, Q and K (subtract 2 from total).

High cards 10, J, Q, K and A (subtract 1 from total).

High cards 10, J, Q and K (subtract 1 from total).

A “total cards dealt” number is determined which is then divided by 52 to represent total decks dealt.

High cards 10, J, Q and K (subtract 2 from total).

You have an advantage when more high cards are in the deck particularly near the end of the shoe.

As buttons are pressed in the app the total counted cards are recorded.

Blackjack Card Counter calculates the "True Count" for you and does it more accurately than manual methods.

Good enough

True Count not entirely accurate due to neutral cards with a value of zero not being accounted for. Adding the number of cards with zero value to the total number of cards counted would make the True Count more accurate because the Running Count can then be divided by how many cards are left in the shoe; so by excluding the cards with zero value in the total cards counted (or dealt) the number of cards left in the shoe is inaccurate. Nonetheless ABlackjackCardCounter is good enough.

Updated and works great again!

Thank you for updating this handy app. Works great in iOS 10.

Vibrate & Stealth

I would assume the vibrate and stealth features were removed due to pressure from the casino industry, or from Apple itself. While card counting is not illegal, using a device in a casino IS illegal. Either way, it clearly states in ABlackjackCardCounter description that if you want the vibrate and stealth options, then DON'T update. This is a great app, and as a casino surveillance employee that tries to catch card counters, I have a bit of experience in the matter.

By the way, from a gamblers perspective, ABlackjackCardCounter would be more useful as a training and practice tool. Anyone with a bankroll large enough to actually count cards in a casino would probably be able to do so without help from an application.

Back to great!!!

I always hold true to my word. 2.2.1 fixed all issues, and the estimated true count works great. Although counting is not illegal, using this program in a casino would be, as most states have laws against the use of electronic devices at the table. That said, this makes for great practice; my team uses one dealer that does not count, but now he can keep the others on top of the accurate true count without losing focus of the dealing process. Also it would be great for people that have trouble with true count conversion, and wish to know that info by just keeping a basic count. Congrats to the creaters for a great program.

Counting is not illegal

The statement that counting is not illegal is correct, but using a device to keep count is. I work in casino surveillance. This is a great program it gives the option to use several different counting systems. However the first review is correct if you get caught using any counting device in a casino you will be arrested. If you are caught counting in your head you can be asked not to play blackjack any more. Good luck.

Does exactly what it says

It counts cards for you but it really is useless. It doesn't teach you how to use the card counting system. You can't use in a casino or you can be charged with a felony.

I would reccomend card counter by tmsoft: it gives you practice and actually teaches you how to count cards.

Not Illegal

Wow, you couldn't be more wrong. Card counting is NOT illegal. Read the actual law, their isn't one. Casino's will kick you out if they see this but it is perfectly legal. This program does what it says.

Great App

Good App, but too hard to use without being noticed- there are better devices out there

Its hard to know what button you are hitting with the touch screen and not being able to look at it. A company called Emerge Innovations sells a device that is much smaller and has actual buttons that is much easier to use.

Use this in a Nevads casino and go to jail!!

The description warns you that if you use this in a casino, you could get in trouble--yes you can--lots of trouble. If you are caught with this in a Nevada casino, you will get prosecuted under the "device laws." At a minimum, that's lots of money and hassle to get off. Otherwise, you'll be in the slammer.

If you need this to count cards, you shouldn't be counting at all.

Finally, it mis-defines the High-Low counting system .

This is useless and dangerous to have.

Excellent App!!

Well worth the money.

What's up with dumping stealth mode?

Why did you put out an app update that removes stealth and vibrate? And why does ABlackjackCardCounter update not let me do the update? Now I forever have 1 update on my app icon because I can not do the update or get rid of it. Please fix this and don't dump the stealth or vibrate! Please.

Will not work with iOS 9

As with others, the dumb thing crashes. I guess it partially my fault for not reading the reviews first. ABlackjackCardCounter is completely unstable/unusable on iOS 9.3.1; as it crashes (aborts) as soon as you launch ABlackjackCardCounter .

It would be nice if Apple would warn you that ABlackjackCardCounter hasn't been evaluated for the iOS version your device has installed.

Nice features removed

I bought this when it was first released, and it was great. Now with the update, two KEY features were lost: Stealth mode & Vibrate. Without those, ABlackjackCardCounter's usefullness has decreased dramatically. I will not recommend ABlackjackCardCounter until those features are added back.

Good start

How about a critical index alert based on the count. Maybe in stealth mode a vibration alert for optimal bet increase times. Well worth 2.99 thank you.

Stopped working

I purchased ABlackjackCardCounter and really like it. However, it has recently stopped working. Can't locate an update and i would appreciate whatever is wrong to be corrected.

By

stealth mode

they probably removed stealth mode because using ABlackjackCardCounter in a casino is a felony, at least it is in Nevada, so removing stealth mode will keep people from trying to use it in casinos. Card countings not illegal, but using the aid of a machine to beat the game is.

Good app. But....

Good app,but don't get caught using it in a Las Vegas casino, as you will be arrested and porsecuted by the Gaming Control board for using a device...

By

Actually it IS illegal

The act of card counting itself is legal. It becomes illegal when you use a device to help (like an iPhone/iPod). If you get caught using this in a casino, you'll be in deep trouble.

By

It's a downgrade.

Please put the vibration and stealth back! Without the vibration mode, how can you tell which is the right true count?

counting down a deck

i would like to be able to count down a deck one card at a time with the ability to control the speed on ABlackjackCardCounter and try to keep the count then because counting down a deck with actual cards and using ABlackjackCardCounter is stupid
