Rakning C-19 Reviews

RakningC19 has some excellent graphics and explainers, but breaks as soon as I:
• Try to set it up without an internet connection
• Try to set it up outside of Iceland
• Try to set it up without a phone number

It also breaks on older iPhones (I have a 6S) although this has been now fixed. Once broken, it will never work again, even in Iceland. The fix is simple, delete and reinstall.

Not fixed

I’ve tried for several days to register my U.S. phone number and no activation codes are sent. I’m uninstalled and reinstalled RakningC19 , and nothing works. Very frustrating as I prep to for my trip and want to be properly notified of my test result after arrival.

I was told I need to use RakningC19, but it doesn’t even open, it just glitches out and crashes before it can load enough to open.

I entered my country code (US 1) and phone number, and never received the verification code.

Also, for selecting language, it would be handy to have the language in THAT LANGUAGE, as it wasn’t immediately obvious that Enska was English.

Want to help keep COVID cases low, but RakningC19 isn’t going to do it. Will rely on vaccines and masks.

Horrible, stupid app that doesn’t work. Entirely dysfunctional.

Going to Iceland and they recommend RakningC19.
Nothing works and can not get past “Turn on notifications in settings”.
It will not let me register my phone number either.
This should be deleted from RakningC19 Store. Apple is so far past allowing an App like this to be available on their platform. Total junk.

I don’t think it works for iPhones. I’ve downloaded it several times and RakningC19 crashes every time, unable to load. This wouldn’t be a big deal if I wasn’t stuck in a foreign country unable to go home because of this stupid app.

I have Ihpone XR. When opening RakningC19 there comes upp a screen with huge Text in various languages that overlap over each other. And there is no interaction when I try to select language. I tried to delete RakningC19 and download it again but without a success.

I need RakningC19 to get my covid test result. It won’t launch. It opens and immediately crash. How can people use this and get their results for travel? I have an IPhone 8 Plus with iOS 13.4.1

got a new iceland number sim. messages get to me so the number is fine. the codes are sent to RakningC19 but RakningC19 wont recognize them.

I’m in the US with a US iPhone. When I try to enter my 10-digit phone number, the “continue” button is grayed out until after I enter the 7th digit. Icelandic phone numbers only have seven digits, so perhaps RakningC19 isn’t recognizing my 10-digit number as valid. I tried many times, even deleting RakningC19 and reinstalling it, but I wasn’t able to receive a verification code. My husband had the same problem.

I downloaded RakningC19 because it was recommended by the Icelandic travel documents. I’m unable to enter my area code from my American cell phone number. You can scroll through many area codes but they don’t have every code that exists and don’t allow you to enter yours. Now I can’t get the code that they are supposed to text to me.

The developers finally fixed the bug that was preventing me from registering my US based iPhone. After downloading the update, I received the confirmation code and was able to complete my registration. We’ll see if it actually works and sends me the results of my airport Covid test when I travel to Iceland next week.

I am trying to register my mobile phone for contact tracing. It is an IPhone with an US phone number I used +1 as my country code and my phone number just as I did in other apps and the verification code is never sent. Other reviews and notes on RakningC19 say it was fixed. We tried deleting and reinstalling. It still does not work.
