The concept of the game itself is very addicting - it feels similar to a Ketchapp game to be perfectly honest. However, the idea that the game must show a video advertisement after every 5 deaths is extremely annoying. Sure, the thought that it might prompt people to buy the No-Ads purchase for $2.99 is ok, but in actuality I cannot play enough of the game itself consistently to decide if it’s worth it.

Ultimately this game suffered from what Drop the Ball did for a long time - video ads constantly. Now, that game has reduced the number of ads it shows as well as making the death ads non-video most of the time. This makes it fun to play, and if I choose to get more perks, I can watch a video ad instead.

All in all, I would recommend cutting down on the number of ads you show. Sure, they bring revenue, but it’s offset by people like me who probably will end up deleting the game when cleaning up apps unless you make some changes that allow me to play the game for lengths of time without constantly being interrupted, perhaps having an ad every 10-11 deaths or so. I believe you may get a lot more people to play that way and, as a result, a lot more in-app purchases

I think that the idea of this game is amazing, but it is very annoying. The first few levels are ok, but the later levels are annoying: there’s a spike, so you jump. And then you hit a spike on the ceiling. Also, half the time the ball doesn’t jump when you tap. There are also WAY to many ads, most of them being videos that happen almost every three deaths. Oh, and by the way, NOBODY will cough up 2 dollars to remove ads on a cheap grab for money that you’re just going to delete within the next hour anyways. I’m sick of dying the second I start the level. Also, when you beat level 50, it takes you to a black space. Skip that level, and it puts you in level 21.

In short, this is a glitchy, low quality, cheap grab for cash. The levels get too hard too fast, mind you that there are only 50. There are also only three controls: tap to jump, do nothing or tap to die, and do anything or nothing to play an ad.

To improve this I would recommend less ads, more levels, less spikes that you die on mid-jump, and more features, like endless mode.

It is a good game. I like all of the different levels, and how challenging it gets. My only things I would change is there needs to be more skins. I got all of them in about the first week I got the game. Second is that there needs to be more levels, and even some bonus levels. Even some levels maybe that aren’t like the others levels (if you know what I mean). Lastly there needs to be music or something that makes it less boring. I’m not saying it is boring only that it needs something to spice it up. But other than that it is a great game!! I love it! It is serene addictive and it gets you hooked. And that is the reason why you need to add more levels because you get so hooked so you finish the game quickly. Thank you and please read and take my suggestions to mind.

I know I haven’t exactly played this game long enough but you can easily tell that it is rigged with ads all over the place. I personally think that this needs to stop because this probably annoys most the people that have this game and I understand the fact that the more ads the more revenue there is but from the way I see it is that you should balance out the ads from how many times you die. If you do that it can possibly have more people keep the game instead of deleting it. If you do that and keep it like that you’ll maybe have a lot more people get the game which could lead to more people watching fewer ads which at this point it’ll balance out and you might make a more steady income from ad revenue, or I just rambled on without having a second that while using logic your choice your game.👌

The gameplay is pretty fun, it can be difficult at times but it’s a good amount of challenge. The bad thing about the difficulty is you can die 4-5 times in very quick succession, just to have an advertisement shoved down your throat. My message to consumers: it’s debatable whether it’s worth it. My message to the publisher: don’t be so greedy. I get it’s a free game and in our society that’s how free things are paid for, but you’re really overdoing it. You’ve produced a ton of games, all producing profit from advertisements. You don’t need to make them this frequent. Honestly if there weren’t so many ads, more people would probably download the game, and they’d probably keep it installed longer. You could make grossly the same amount of profit, maybe even more, and keep your consumers happy. It seems like a win-win, eh?

While I just downloaded this game in the past hour or so, I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED 😡because there is no opportunity to find out if you actually might like this game or not. WHY? You might ask, am I unable to say whether I like the game or not?? Simple!!! The *^%#*^ ADS are flying at me after every other effort‼️
So look, with this kind of game, you have to repeatedly try to get through the levels and get into a kinda rhythm. Learning how soon to jump to avoid the spikes takes practice to get into the zone. Obviously, I will never do that if I have to wait for an entire ad, or at times 2 ads to play before getting back to the game!!! 😡
And on top of that...it’s the same freaking ads -over and over and over ‼️‼️
Sure I could pay the fee & stop the ads. I’ve done that on a few games I really like. But I’m not about to pay it when I’m not even sure I’d play the game anyway. I see this as a way you game creators try to manipulate us!! Make it so BAD they will pay for sure- isn’t that it? Nope. Not me, and I think I speak for a lot of others, most of whom will just delete it and forget it!! Good enough for ya!!!

This game is good on paper but when you start playing it, it gets very annoying. Sometimes they’ll drop the ball and expect you to jump right as you land which can be very difficult. Some of the levels require way too much accuracy and have no pattern at all. Some might consider this challenging but RNG in a game isn’t fun.

The noise when you get killed is extremely annoying and frustrating. I’m constantly dying and hearing that noise several times just gets annoying. I deleted ShapeEscape because of the noise.

The ads are also a HUGE problem. I’m constantly getting ads after 4-5 deaths. It’s always the same one. I understand you need money to make an app, but excessive -ness of these ads ruins gameplay. In conclusion, ShapeEscape is fun for 5 minutes before it’s too hard to bear.

This is a fun game and good if you want to break time quickly. Also it has very nice gameplay mechanics and graphics. I expect good things in the future for this game. I also wanted to mention that the 2 ads to skip is very nice, generous, and a pretty good deal. The skip thing really helped me out, and also I like how as you go on the levels get progressively difficult and doesn’t just skip to the hard stuff. I beat every level without skipping (I completed the ones I did skip) and I found the game very fun, a great idea, and ur mom giey

I absolutely adored Go Escape, which I found before this game. Have that 5 stars and wished for hundreds of new levels, played it through many times! This version is super fun too, ended up finishing it but felt some levels were almost too hard! The spinning features were my least favorite in Go Escape, so kind of sad this game is all spinners, some levels made me feel dizzy!!! But overall a fabulous, 5 star game. Sad to finish, but challenging enough to play through again.

This game is an amazing, epic, and addicting mobile game. This is one of those games that you would play more than Xbox Play station and PC games . It’s for sure my favorite game and hopefully yours to. It’s creative and has spikes everywhere. I would have to call it the best game of the year. I have even seen a few YouTubers play this game. Of course the updates make it better. There are even different types of balls. It will get harder and harder but there all still possible. This is why you should get the game and even better it’s free to play.

Good app I’ve been playing it and it has been great .it is okay clearing the levels and I hit by the spikes on and on . It’s hard but good .well it’s not the best cooperating with ads but all I have to do is drop out of ShapeEscape . Also I’m on level 18 and it’s really hard . Good job making ShapeEscape and making ShapeEscape hard. I still can get through the levels but it takes a while. still good app .this was a great idea . Price is nothing. Great idea I just wish when you made it you made it easier . Great idea!

This game is okay. The idea of this game is great but things like adds and what happens when u die can be annoying. When u die it is very frustrating how long it takes for you to play again. When the sharp points smash the ball, the ball gets crushed into pieces and the game displayed that happening in slow motion. I would much rather prefer it to just redirect me to the try again button. Also, the adds are very annoying. I have put an add block on but before that they would pop up every 4 or 5 turns. These factors are big set backs to the game.

This game is addicting but playable adds are horrible and the playable add for this game was to, but the point is this game was even worse than the playable add it had, which I didn’t think was even possible! The ball is so small and wonky and how far it goes changes. How am I able to know how far it is going to go! The concept of the game is great and if you fix those things so I can control the ball more, than that would be great, and I would relate it five stars

This game is challenging, but totally worth it. You get to pick your balls, and you get to earn points. This game is so fun! It gives you something to do, and something to work on. You might get frustrated at times, but that just means your doing a great job. This is a very well thought out game, and it is fun, but challenging and VERY satisfying. This game is so fun.

This game is amazing but the thing is is that I get frustrated when the ball hits the spike. I like the game it is fun to be completely honest I don’t like how it does Alana apps in the middle wow you’re trying to play a game but it is really fun and addicting and I think it’s really cool to play it because it gets harder and harder so in my opinion I think you should buy the game but it doesn’t cost meeting so the only thing I would say that I don’t like the game is the ads so thank you bye guys

This is one of the games that I would stay up and play ALL night just because it is so fun. The reason I gave the game a 4 star rating sometimes when you are in the middle of playing the game it will just glitch. I also noticed that in one of the comments before I got the game that said “there is a add after each 5 dies. THATS NOT TRUE!!! Maybe every 20 dies if that. Keep making fun games like this!

This is a very bad game it is fun but every time you play it seems to lag out and randomly let you win or make you loose. There is no pattern in how the shapes rotate causing you to not be able to win higher levels. On top of it all there is way too many ads. I mean seriously an ad every five deaths it’s ridiculous and some I’ve had took forever to load so I was in the middle of the next round and the ad pops up causing me to die. It’s addictive but only because you want to complete one level you are stuck on. Overall a good concept but a terrible game.

Scape to escape is a very fun game the game starts out very slow and then it gets very fast the farther you go I just got this game not o long a go and it is amazing and I am on a very high level please try this game if you do not like this game please leave this game site a comment why you did not like this game and remember do not touch the spikes or you will die you will be awesome at this game if you try! VER FUN GAME YOU HALF TO TRY THIS GAME!

I’ve been playing this game for about five minutes and I’ve already screamed about 20 times. I scream every time I die. I scream every time I get an ad. And seeing as I die a lot, I get a lot of ads. No game since Flappy Bird has made me want to chuck my phone at the wall so much. At least that one didn’t give you ads like this. Please do something about that, it’s impossible for me, and others, to play well enough to like the game. Not with all these constant interruptions.
