Social media’s impact on sports has grown a lot in recent years as it becomes a more common aspect of people’s lives. Social media allows people to connect with others on a scale that was previously unknown. You can talk about games, watch and share highlights, have meaningful discussions with others, and all from the comfort and safety of your own home. The reason SportsHi is such a great app is that it allows players to connect with each other, their coaches, and provides them with various opportunities, and is dedicated to exclusively sports. Other, more popular social media apps can be helpful, but they’re all flooded with an abundance of other content as well. By creating an app exclusively for sports content, targeted towards student athletes, it gives these athletes a means of communication that is focused on their specific interests, and makes it easier to find relevant content. Not only is it an incredibly helpful form of social media for players, but it is also a useful tool for communication and organization for coaches by streamlining their job. In addition, the app is free, meaning that it is available to almost anyone with access to a phone, with no extra barrier of needing to pay. Overall, this app is an extremely effective and useful form of social media for student athletes and I’d highly recommend anyone interested in high school sports to download and try it out!

This app is great, it has everything a high school revolving college. It aids students in their scholarship search and putting their name out there for schools. The app has five main sections: home page, discover page, create, chat, and profile. The home page is a great spot for the SportsHi community as a whole, allowing every user to check out others posts, in a similar manner to Instagram. Next is the discovery page which is an area full of opportunities, both college and job related. Following that is the create section where users can make their own post, their post likely to pop up on the home page for others to see. This section is important because you can put yourself out their with the create option. Next is the chat section which plays into the app’s groups. The groups being any group you want, from a group related to your school or to a group you created. The app allows you to chat with these groups in the chat section. Lastly is the profile section which is really important for student athletes and people in groups. Your profile can tell someone everything about you from your school to your achievements. It tracks what you want it to track and you can private the information you don’t want public. All of these sections making for an overall amazing app thats the best of both worlds, academics and sports.

SportsHi is a revolutionary app unlike any other that aims to provide dedicated and passionate high school students with the best scholarship opportunities for them. It asks for specific goals, accomplishments, and high school stats to ensure that college coaches are able to find them and message them in the most effective and efficient way possible through a built-in chat service. As a tennis player myself, ever since the COVID-19 pandemic has hit in March of 2019, it has been especially difficult for me, along with many other high school students across the nation, to find the best scholarship opportunities and get in touch with college coaches. This is how I discovered SportsHi and I soon realized how great of an app it really was. It motivated me to do better and keep playing tennis to the best of my abilities during the pandemic. This is why I decided to become an ambassador/intern for SportsHi in late December of 2020. Ever since became an ambassador, I have been working hard alongside my other fellow ambassadors to further improve the app, not only for myself, but for others who are looking to contact college coaches or make the college process easier by finding scholarships. All in all, I have enjoyed every second of exploring and using the SportsHi app as well as working for SportsHi, and I encourage everyone reading this review to download the app!
