Surprisingly fun!

I’ve had TotalTrivia now since Nov 2018 and honestly still wasn’t sure if it was legit or not. I had never won a tournament or anything but it was a fun trivia game and I’m a very patient person so I had the mentality of ‘as long as I don’t spend money but keep saving tickets then it’s worth it’. It was fun to do the trivia so why not?! And let me tell you, it’s DEFINITELY worth it! I finally won an item. Typically, I don’t try to finish any of the games because, like I said before, I am more into saving the tickets then using them just to get a higher score which keeps you at a higher ranking for that specific game/item. This time, I had a ‘what the heck, why not’ attitude. The score wasn’t too high so I figured I had a shot at number one. Once I actually did it, I was so excited and just figured it might be worth trying to keep my spot as #1 and with the clock ticking down I knew I wouldn’t have to wait and see for too long. Sure enough, even with me having to spend a little more tickets to keep up, I kept my spot and won the game. I was so blown away! I finally won and finally am finding out that this isn’t just a fun game app but it’s also legit a prize winning app!! It’s awesome!! Best part is I haven’t spent ANY money since downloading!!! Seriously! Just be patient, play the trivia, win and save those tickets, and when you have enough and feel ready to challenge yourself then go for that #1 spot.

TotalTrivia

What a neat concept and game. The end result would be to win something which I have. But the other nice thing is the trivia questions and learning new things. I also like seeing who's in the lead and watching each other bid higher than each other to keep the lead.

I have been playing Total Trivia for a few months now and am still totally enjoying it. I have received several nice FREE - yes I said FREE prizes. Total trivia sometimes can cost but The moderators at total trivia sends out routinely guidelines on how to play and win without spending money. I love the trivia questions and I love the excitement of the game to win something. I love that one has to strategize to get a great prize. I have won 2 nice leather handbags, a expensive backpack and champagne glasses without paying a dime.

I am still enjoying total trivia. People are amazed when they hear that I got my blood expensive purse and backpack for free. I love the excitement of fighting out when is just the right time to bid on something. I’m Aldean enjoying learning new tidbits of trivia that I would have never known before whether I go for a prize or not. I would recommend Total trivia to anyone. But also advising them that if they want to experience the full enjoyment of the game. Be strategic.

Scam - don’t waste your time or money

Each tournament will have a bot - or a person with unlimited money / tickets to enter. They will continue to be the leader to the end especially in overtime. If you continue to purchase more credits or boost your score, the bot will do the exact same. The timing is crazy. I played with the same person for an item and every single time within a second, they were playing again getting every single question right - and this was costing 1,800 for 3x boost and almost 900 to enter. There’s no way around it. Even if you let the person have the lead to the very end - the rationale is that when you’re in the lead you can’t play again - you can never hold onto the lead because of overtime. The bot will continue to enter and play and take the lead until you’ve lost your mind, your time, and wasted money on entries. If you’re going to have automated cpus or even have people who work for the company or get paid to pretend to be real people - at least make it more realistic. Maybe have the bot wait a few minutes before jumping back right back in. I saw similar reviews and was skeptical but gave TotalTrivia the benefit of the doubt. But it’s true - if you log in and look at the leaders you’ll see some of the same names leading multiple games too. Save your money and your sanity and don’t download.

I didn’t win the tickets I should have won and a scam

I was in second place and was trying to play smart by waiting until there was 3-5 minutes left to play to win. If you’re in the lead you can’t play unless someone passes you. SOMEHOW as soon as I play and bump ahead I get knocked back down to 2nd place immediately from the person originally in 1st. How does that make sense? That wasn’t even enough time for them to play since like I said you can’t play unless you get knocked down to second. Just seems sketchy.

Also, I thought it was fun at first but seems like the same people win. Which, fine, if they buy more tickets to win then whatever. It just seems suspicious. I don’t see why someone would pay that much out of pocket to win even the smaller items. And they get to play like 7 at a time when most of us only get 2 tournaments to play a day. The main reason I gave 1 star is because I’ll be in the top to where I should win tickets but don’t. Just now I was in the top and should have won quite a bit of tickets but when I clicked on it I had a “server error” even though my WiFi/internet connection was great and my ticket count never changed as if I didn’t win anything. The item won’t even pop up in my offers tab where I could check to see what place I was to see what I won. Just doesn’t seem right.

Fun game but BE CAREFUL

The game is fun, legit, and I have so far one a $155 gold ring and $170 Camo backpack and I only spend $10. There’s a strategy to increase you’re odds without spending too much and it all boils down to timing.

BUT, overall, I’ve spent probably $70 trying to win other items. People get competitive and sometimes on specific tournaments you’ll have that one person who just keeps buying tickets for game play and everyone time you take the lead, they play again and get ahead of you. This is where is gets dangerous. I’ve learned now to simply op out if I’m in a tournament where someone is just spending money on tickets without an regard for the value of the actual item at stake. Ridiculous that someone is dumb enough to do that but it happens, a lot. I’ve seen people win after spending 100,000 tickets which, if you’ve played for a while, you’d know those tickets cost more then the cost of the prize.

So it’s a fun game, legit, and definitely winnable, but be careful. Mentally, the game makes you want to keep playing just like gambling..

Limited Prizes

I thought I’d give TotalTrivia a try, I’ve seen ads for it on other apps. For the most part it’s ok. The prizes are really nice, and you don’t have to spend too much to win. You can watch ad videos to play up to a point, and then you have to buy tickets to keep playing. My main problem is that the prizes are mostly jewelry and kitchen stuff - both of which are things I have no interest in. There’s no way to search for items, or filter out prizes you don’t want (like jewelry). Also, they only have about 20 ‘tournaments’ going at once, so if there’s nothing you want, you have to remember to come back later. My other main problem is that half the prizes are ‘daily’ prizes, and you can only enter one of these per day. I understand why they do this, so they’re not losing money by giving away too many items a day. I would have liked to have known this before playing one so I could have chosen better the tournament to join. I entered one and ended up at rank 36th before being asked to buy entry tickets, but my score would have put me at number one in another tournament I was interested in. I feel like I wasted those tickets. Despite these minor complaints, it’s overall a fairly decent app

Not so much about trivia.

This game really isn't about trivia. It's about a different way of marketing and bidding on products. I'd say about 8-10% of the answers are not even correct. That's actually very good for a trivia game. There's not an easy way to find experts in every category. I can only speak for categories I know, like science. Anyway, you can buy your way to the front and the winner is just whoever spends the most money. It's an ingenious marketing plan, just kind of obvious. Also, there aren't many questions in each category I think because after about 10 games I'd already seen some repeats. Just memorize the questions in a category and bid on product. That's what it's about anyway. I wonder how many people buy $50 items for $150 just because it says it's worth $400 in TotalTrivia . (Hint, check eBay for real pricing). I also find it enlightening that the developers themselves say in response to reviews below that people generally don't win anything for free. "Some weekends" someone wins something. Sounds like scam marketing to me. I notice that the same few people will be winning almost every contest (think bots). If you don't win, they'd be glad to sell you the item for 3 times it's actual value though.

🤔 don’t know how I feel about the game, just feel bad for people that got their money taken away

Most of the good reviews are just fake, most of the people winning are just fake, it’s like they’re preventing you from winning, even though if you might win, chances are you won’t even get that item cause they’re products probably by them. I would recommend this is a good game without the fake advertising of the prizes. Would recommend people play just for fun but don’t waste your money on this game. There have been many reports and bad real views about TotalTrivia and their money taking. Today I just saw someone or some bot that was first place get 34k points then added 3x booster and jumped up to 35x in first place, you can’t do that because once you’re first place you can’t play more or again. Pretty fishy 🤔 Some of the fake reviews are pretty funny, so out of date, like who even says those things anymore 😂 it made it more easy to find out they were fake reviews, even the names from the reviews sort of spilled it, like really lol. It would be better if they made an actual game or app that didn’t have to fake everything and scam people imo. This guy even got a threat sent to him or his review deleted for being honest.

An honest review

This game is fun and interesting. But what some people have to understand is that at some point you have to spend some money. Nothing is truly free. How much money depends on your prize and commitment. It's a game that if played the right way, you can win an item worth thousands of dollars. I was in the market for a really good quality kitchen knife and there was no way I can afford the one I wanted ($675). I know you can get good quality knives for much cheaper, but I am tired of them rusting, breaking, and losing their edge way too fast. So I saw the same knife on this game and couldn't believe that it was one of the prizes. So I played and played and played some more. Guess what though? I ended up winning it and for about $40 worth of coupons. If I wanted to, I can sell it and make 100% profit. There are some items I saw that were worth more than $3,000. If you know who and where to sell stuff, you can make some really good side money, or just keep it!

Fun Trivia App with Great Customer Service!

This is a great app for any trivia lover! Plus, there prizes you can win a very unique and if a wide variety. Some of the items I’ve won so far are all of high standard/quality as well. It’s also a nice option to exchange the item for coupons instead of you would rather take one or the other.

Only complaint and what is keeping the rating from five stars is that this game is very addictive (in good and bad ways), so if you don’t have as much self control or cash to burn, you may want to stay away. Winning an item can be hard and will often times cost you more money than you’d like. Handful of players also tend to dominate most of the bigger tournaments.

All in all though, TotalTrivia and game is designed beautifully and functions very well other than occasional lagging. Customer support is top notch too!

Nice concept but big rip off

This game was interesting at first. I do admit the idea of it was great but a very nice and easy way to lose money to their company. As a mom I thought it would be a great app and don't get me wrong you can learn many things from all the categories they have, but to actually be able to win something you need these tickets. Only way to get them is by purchasing them other then sharing on Facebook. I had up to 8,000 tickets on my account and had won once. I spent about 400$ on there within 5 minutes. Came to realize it would've been cheaper to buy the item instead of purchasing these tickets! Not to mention that the lower the time for an item the more tickets it is to play. It went from 2 tickets up to 180 tickets. This company needs to come up with other ways to earn these tickets instead of buying them. I get it spending 50 dollars here and there isn't so bad, but once those tokens are gone you can't get anymore. Be prepared to spend hundreds and possibly even thousands of dollars with TotalTrivia.

If I Can Win...

So, as I was saying, if I can win then so can you! I am actually amazed that TotalTrivia even exists. I love it and play all the time. I have won an awesome blender, two pairs of earrings, a food dehydrator, a cool clock, sheets, and more. No, you don’t have to spend a ton of money to play. In fact if you have patience you don’t have to spend any. Although, they do have some sweet deals on tickets for those who do want to fast track their playing. Yes it is a little slow getting started with ads but soon after you start earning trophies those go away. I am glad I worked through that in the beginning because I haven’t had ads since the second month I played. They change the tournaments up to alleviate competition and are always working to provide a level playing ground for all. I figure why play anything else when Total Triva actually rewards me.

Love this app

You have to pick the right time of day to play. I get free tickets for challenges every day and they are truly free. I did spend $2.00 (two bucks) on tickets today and won a pair of earrings that I had been watching. As for the value of the prizes I actually went to one of the websites owned by the designer (for the handbags) and the price was the same as the game advertised. That said, I have played this game less than a month and have won twice. You don’t have to spend money to win you just have to play smart and know when to give up and when to press on. It’s like when you go to Vegas. You have to stop yourself before you buy a ton of tickets to win something. Move on to another prize. Don’t let the addiction develop where you can’t walk away. The prizes often repeat every few days. That’s my observation.

PSA: GAME STEALS PERSONAL MONEY!!!

I downloaded this game forever ago and deleted after having it for a month or so. I connected TotalTrivia with my PayPal to receive any money I may win. Now I don’t remember if it was TotalTrivia or another one that I won $2-$3 dollars on. Either way I deleted TotalTrivia shortly after because I wasn’t winning anymore or at all.

Now today I started a subscription using my paypal in order to save a pdf. After I saved the pdf I got on my paypal to cancel the subscription. (Under settings in paypal, you go to payments, then manage pre approved payments. Once on that screen there is a “show active” and “show inactive” tab.) Under the “show active” tab was TotalTrivia icon for Total Trivia. I click on it, confused & sure enough the game is pulling out money here and there in $1.00 increments. In total it only took $4.00 but I work hard for my money as I’m sure you all do. I would advise you all NOT to connect your paypal or bank accounts with TotalTrivia. You may think that “free” $2.00 sounds nice but they may get it & then some back in the long run.

You’ve been warned ☝🏽

Fun twist on auction action...

This is a very entertaining addition to the world of online auction sites. You answer trivia questions to earn points on auctions for items you'd like to win. You can earn some number of points for each item for free - the first set of questions for each auction is completely free, and you can get additional sets for free by watching short ads. To actually WIN auctions, you'll probably have to purchase coupons - at some point, the free questions end and you start having to spend coupons to get more questions. There are several twists that add elements of strategy to the auction process. It's a lot of fun, though as with any auction site it's easy to get caught up in bidding wars and go through a lot of coupons / money very quickly, so discipline is paramount!
