When the LEGO hub is bluetooth connected to a Macintosh or PC it is installed as a virtual serial device. I can then connect to it with standard terminal emulation software. However the bluetoothLE app on iOS just shows it as a device with no services. Not useful. Why can off the shelf OS software figure this out but this specialized bluetooth app cannot?

Terminal works but the buttons do not. Paid $2.99 for the buttons, but when I try to use them, BluetoothTerminal disconnects from the Bluetooth module.

Buttons app does not work. Terminal does work, but I need button pad. HM - 10 module disconnects whenever I attempt to enter button app. Wasted much time. Developer does not respond. Can not get refund from Apple. Wasted money. Using newest Arduino and iOS 12.
Have found ArduinoBlue App which has many more features. Requires a library to be added (and learned) and is FREE.

Developer adds multiple ads and pop ups per screen. Then wants a purchase for every single tiny feature. Do not bother with BluetoothTerminal itβs not worth the frustration.

I just bought the controller mode for $3. Do NOT purchase this, it is a waste of money. The transceiver immediately disconnects when controller mode is turned on, rendering this function entirely worthless.

I tried to use BluetoothTerminal to connect my phone to a controller but BluetoothTerminal could not find the controller

Device info disappears after scrolling and clicking an (empty) info field force-closes BluetoothTerminal .
Other than that I'm hopeful this will do what I need and more when it's fixed and I buy the add-ons I need. :)

Not all functions work
Game controller doesnβt really send the correct text.
Data that comes back on reads is normally decimal. Needs a decimal to ascii text decoder feature. Also needs a method to log read data to a file

I'm able to connect to my sh-hc-08, send and receive data from terminal. But once I switch to the controller panel, BluetoothTerminal will disconnected with the bluetooth device. I spent $2+ on the controller module but it cannot be used.
