This is a very serene game; music and images are beautiful. It has a very similar feel to Monument Valley, in many ways. It is a very simple puzzle-solving game, but more so than that it is a guided story.

The story is not always clear, and it has, in some places, a slightly unpolished feel to it. But, it gives you as many tries as you need to figure it out (if you look carefully and closely you will see the patterns you need to trace - just use your eyes), it's free, it is a small and simple game with no ads, IAP, or other distractions (not even settings), yet I was intrigued enough to see it through to the end.

If you're looking for a fast-paced action-packed game, this isn't it. If you like peaceful journeys that tell a story, however enigmatic or short, you have absolutely nothing to lose by downloading and trying this game.

The graphics and designs are beautiful, and the overall vibe of the story is immersive. However, there’s just not enough info or focus on the protagonist that players may find it difficult to see beyond just pretty pictures and puzzles. Personally, I enjoyed the game, but I was not too invested in the story it told or was trying to tell. Rather, it was more puzzle focused than it was for storytelling. Overall, it’s a short and lovely game that will have just enough intrigue for players.

1) the art in this game is VERY good. very very nice and pretty.
2) it has a cute story but it still involves moderately challenging puzzles
3) it works your brain in ways that you would not expect it to, and it leaves a lot unexplained so that you can figure it out on your own
4) the game is an experience in itself, from the animations to the gameplay to the storyline. i do recommend
5) it's simply magical. in both the concept of the girl being connected to the light and the moon and presumably the flowers, to the idea that the puzzles you are doing are connected to the world around her. everything has a purpose.

anyways, i highly HIGHLY recommend this game.

the only downside is that it's a fairly short game, and there is no hint option for those who do not understand how to solve the puzzles. if you do need assistance, you can look online (but i recommend pushing through and figuring it out yourself because you'll feel better about it)

The graphics in this game are amazing, especially the art style. The way they drew the scenery is nice and pleasing to the eye, as well as the soundtrack. It is soft and serene.

I don’t have much to say about this game, but I just want to let anybody know that if you’re hoping for a storyline with a lot of lore, you won’t be seeing much of hat in this game. There isn’t much story involved, it’s really just about helping some girl save(?) the moon by solving puzzles. There also isn’t any context clues about the story in the game, so if you want you can make theories about the story, but this game is more about the puzzles.

I really like how the puzzles in this game often require you to look at the scenery in the back for clues on how to complete the puzzle, and it sometimes require you to think outside the box.

I don’t really have much to say about the game since it is actually really short and anyone can complete it in less than a day if they’re persistent, but I don’t really have a reason to give this any less than a 5 star since it said this game is a puzzle game, and that is what I got.

This game teeters on the border of being a game and an interactive story. The art is beautifully done and the music aides in telling the story. The puzzles are not difficult, but it is an interesting take on the other shape-drawing games of the same idea. I'm glad these puzzles weren't difficult as I feel it would've distracted from the story. I think the only things I would like to see added to this are: individual controls for sound effects and music with volume sliders, and a pause feature. I felt the sound effects for matching up the stars/solving a puzzle was a bit too loud for my liking. Otherwise, this game is stellar (pun mildly intended) and I highly recommend LunarFlowers.

The best way to describe this game is that was designed to be an easy, enjoyable game for an advanced or master puzzler. If you are a beginner to intermediate puzzler (i.e. like myself) and bought this game purely for it’s magnificent visual beauty you will eventually find yourself annoyed with the tedium and repetition of trying to get through it. I almost got through Level 2 and then decided the princess was not worth saving. I really wanted to like this game and see all the visually beautiful levels in it but for me it’s not worth continuing. The only good thing I have to say about this game is that the colors, graphic design, sound and animation are premium. If there were an art book of the game available I would buy it. Unfortunately, the game play for me was not fun.

There is a storyline. It is not complex in plot yet it is meant to be simple. There is absolutely no words except for the title yet but if you're smart enough you'd figure out the story on your own base on watching what lays out. The music is beautiful yet the sound of the flowers become a slight as it distracts from the music. Aside from that, it's an enjoyable connect the dots type game with different variations and scenery that takes about 10-20 minutes to finish. Short and simple. I never bother writing reviews and probably will never write one again, yet I love this too much not to.

How to improve: Some puzzles are hard to see on a small device, some rules are not consistent and cause frustration. Some parts need to flow better logically. Definitely reminds me of monument valley but not executed as carefully as MA. RULES KEEP CHANGING instead of the game complexity level. There are certain parts I don't know what exactly I should be looking at. Too much going on, this color and that color, don't know which is the action color!!! Sometimes red sometimes blue be consistent!

Last but not least, the UI graphics are stunning I think I know who did it. It's a girl I've seen her work on dribble. Well done :)

The graphics are beautiful and well done, there was obvious effort put into it. The story line is nice and easy to follow. However, the puzzles are just way too easy. I finished the entire game in about 20 minutes. It's a real shame that so much work went into the game and then wasn't even challenging. Despite the low challenge level, they have made it so that you have to restart portions if you get something wrong. That is very annoying.

I would say it is only worth trying if you are looking for a game with nice graphics and low challenge. If you, like me, are looking for a challenging puzzle, then this is not LunarFlowers to get.

There are various hints throughout as to what the dragging order should be, but hints are not always present in the landscape, and if you do it wrong, you must begin the entire sequence over from the first of the series. I don't have the entire night to experiment with the fifth or eighth sequence, just to go through the previous ones over and over and over... it's fine if you have the free time, but some of us don't.

The monotony can really wear on you, and as such it ceases to be a relaxing challenge and becomes more like picturesque drudgery.

The “last” stage (I don’t know)— that I’m gonna call “Clockwork gears”— has removed all of the zen stored up from the previous stages, and has me literally “spinning my gears” in hopes of something happening. There appears to be NO CLUES as to what to do! If this is the last stage, I’m just gonna call it good. If not, and the remaining stages are as difficult or more so, I’ll just delete the bloody app.

It's a new game and it's absolutely breath taking. Many have complained about how the game is done and I think the fact there are no words and you sort of have to figure it out is great. I love the design, it could flow a bit better between the different types of patterns but that can be changed by making it longer 😉 I'd love to be able to keep playing it after a day 😅

without asking me to come back to rate yet I felt like I wanted to send some love back to the makers. It is so beautiful.

Even I did not get some parts of the story yet I had finished it. The final scene is stunnigly beautiful (on iPad, so I experienced it in a very big way) The puzzle is easy-to-mid hard to me but some of them are so clever, i think the 3-to-1 one is nicest, you could have that kind of riddles and I am still find it makes sense :)

I wrote this to let you know that the game is worth buying. Short but meaningful.

For those who wanted to buy but not sure what it is. If you like Monument Valley, this is something familiar in game atmosphere but comes with another kind of puzzles.

This game was more more challenging than I expected but in a good way. The music is great, the art is great and the game itself is challenging and fun. I liked this game so much that I just HAD to rate it. I usually don’t rate anything but this game was truly outstanding! I totally recommend it although I did wish it had more levels. The concept did limit those levels tho so I don’t mind it too much.

This game freakin' stinks! It's terrible! It's so boring and the puzzles are so easy! The mood is close to Monument Valley and the art is incredible, but the quality of the game is horrid! There is no story line, the character stinks, it's super short and easy, it makes you redo the whole thing if you mess up, and it is just plain out boring! Don't waste your time on this terrible game. It will just waste the 10mins it takes to beat of your life. Actually, I didn't play the full game. I was on the last level and decided, "This game stink! It's boring and there is no point. I could be playing something SO much better. THIS GAME STINKS AND YOU SHOULDNT GET IT!!!!😡

Overall very good game so far, but, on level 2 there must be a problem of some sort. While the girl is in the boat, even if I do the patterns right, I get killed by this one lantern, by pattern 3 I’m dead, and I don’t get any wrong! I really wish I could give this game 5 stars, because it’s a really beautiful game, I can’t! I can’t get past level 2! I have watched tutorials but I still can’t get through!

Simple yet elegant. The game is easy enough to be considered relaxing, but still engaging enough to make playing through it worthwhile. The art style and the background music really enhance the game play. Only complaint is that it was so short-- would have enjoyed longer levels or more levels in general.

Would you update this according to the complaints in these comments? Would 5 stars get you to look at this? There’s so many of the same complaints, yet you’ve done nothing at all to fix them. Just fix the thing.

Although I was not asked by the game to write a review, I was compelled - by my satisfaction thereof - to give one. Gameplay is a simple connect the dots. The (second?) level with the boat is frustrating, but overall the experience provided by this game is great. There is little to no replay value, but with these types of games that is expected.

This is real a lovely game and it's very beautiful.
But some of the puzzles are hard to see when you are playing time based puzzles. Making it past level 2 was impossible so I just deleted LunarFlowers from my iPhone :/
Edit: tried this on an iPad and I still had a hard time making out the red patterns on the small purple lanterns in level 2 so I’ve decided this game is just not UI friendly
