D.C. Bikes — A One-Tap Capital Bike Share App Reviews

You can’t use this to actually rent the bike, and DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp freezes and closes in about 60 seconds. This is fun in theory, but it’s not the real app. I’m not sure why Apple would let DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp rank higher in a search over the apps that people actually need and use.

Wish I'd looked more closely before paying (99 cents) for ad-free. Thought a review could help others avoid the error.

I can't turn off the ads, every time I try it does not save. The ads show up on top of the bike and sock count- makes it impossible to plan when on metro

DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp I've been waiting for. I usually need a bike or an empty dock in a hurry. I guess fiddling with maps is fine for casual users, but I use Capital Bike Share all the time! Which is why I am also fine with Location Services being set to Always. It is worth it to not have to wait for DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp to figure out where I am before telling me the location of the closest bike or empty dock. Thanks!

DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp REQUIRES you to allow them to access your location WHEN DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp IS TURNED OFF or else they won't let you use DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp at all. There is NO reason they need my location, especially when I am not even using DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp . For that matter, I shouldn't have to authorize location services at all; I am perfectly capable of manually looking at the map and figuring out where I am. Big brother is watching.

Works ok at best, often takes an exceedingly long time (1-2 mins or more) to load in info after enabling location services. Also usually has major issues when trying to swipe for other nearby stations- sometimes works, usually
doesn't. Overall poor.

It does exactly what it's supposed to. It indicates the location of bike stands around DC, as well as the number of available bikes at each stand. Pretty simple and direct.

I can understand DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp needing my location when I'm using it, but all the time? Even when I'm not using DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp ? Makes no sense. For that I give it 3 stars.

Change DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp so that it uses location services only when I'm using DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp ? Then it's a 5 star app.

Very easy to find a station based on current location

DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp had a good balance of function and ease of use. There's also a timer to remind me to rerack.

Clean interface, easy to use, everything you need in one place while biking around DC.

Dc Bikes really makes finding the few closest docks super easy… especially when using one handed on a bike.

Sure it's not perfect, but once you get by ones need for perfection, it is indeed amazing! I am hoping to become a bike rider and Capital Bile has provided such an opportunity. Thanks!

Jury is still out....my first huddle is trying to find the search option. ..which after ten minutes still don't see one. DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp used to be easy to use so looking at other reviews DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp may need a lot of work to keep peeps onboard

Love the bike share but today no place in the five stations near my house to dock. Thank god the metro was running - well barely

Easy to use & good functionality

The location of the banner ads make it impossible to view the number of bikes available in the map mode. This makes DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp unusable. You have to make an in-app purchase to banish the advertisements. Do not waste your time.

DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp requires you to always share your location which is unnecessary and means they are selling your location data. Additionally, the advertisements cover up key things like number of bikes and available spots making DCBikesAOneTapCapitalBikeShareApp useless.

Saves me during the morning rush when I'm scrambling for a dock downtown. Very useful app.
